“I had a fantastic experience with Annie as a Rover sitter for our French Bulldog, Bugsy! Even though it was just for a day, Bugsy felt right at home in her cozy place. Annie is incredibly kind and attentive, making sure Bugsy was comfortable and happy. She even gave him a toy and took great care of him despite the snowstorm outside. Overall, Annie is a wonderful person, and I highly recommend her!”

They are my favorite animal and I am truly honored to watch your furry friend(s)! I work from home as a gemologist and jeweler. I substitute teach around Northern Michigan, on occasion. Located adjacent to Hay Lake Marina at Admirals Point HOA. Plenty of grassy areas to walk, and boat launch for dog swimming is available!
“Dorothy is great with my 1 yr. old puppy. She is patient but consistent with dealing with his puppy energy and lack of focus. I can tell he enjoys being with her. Thank you, Dorothy!”

“Peter communicated promptly about pre-scheduled arrangements and Cora felt very comfortable and happy while with him. His house is located on a beautiful street with old trees alley close by the beaches. We appreciated his last minute availability and will be glad to request dog care again in the future.”

About: I have always loved dogs, and have taken care of many over the years. We had our own family rescue, growing up. Then I got kitties in college who are still with me today almost seventeen years later. They are my loves, but On the side, I like to play with as many dogs each day as possible. I nanny for a family and a couple of summers ago took over puppy training duties to perfect the behavior of my only coworker... Teddy. I’ve taken care of my mother’s dog and neighbors’ for years just because I want all dogs to always feel loved and get as many adventures as they can! I am responsible and always early for anything. I always have leashes, toys, treats, and dozens of poop bags handy, even though my only pets are my cats. I’m currently working full-time, but squeeze in as many dog walks as I can a week. I love to help out owners. We don’t have the time and give their animals some fun adventures and love. I have a fenced in yard with a back door to my house. Tons of toys, dishes for food and water. Leashes. A nice neighborhood to walk in where I know all of the barky yards.
About: I am a stay at home mom of 3 little boys. I also have two dogs of my own. I love dogs, especially big dogs. I pride myself in taking excellent care of my own dogs and would love to provide excellent care for yours. I have 20 years experience working with dogs. I started a dog walking business when I was 12 years old lol. I worked at a veterinary school through college and then bred my own dogs for several years. All dogs who are able and willing will go for one walk per day and can give dogs more vigorous exercise if needed. Will provide food if owner does not provide their own but it is preferable for your dog to bring their food with them. I work from home so I have plenty of time to devote to caring for your pet. I can take your pets outside for potty breaks as often as necessary and can provide a daily walk and play time. I have a partially fenced yard and your pet will be on leash with me at all times when outside the home. I also have two big dogs that are friendly and can play with your dogs or can be kept separate if you prefer.

Petoskey dog parents share their Rover experiences
This is our first time using Rover. It was an outstanding experience. Our initial inquiry was answered quickly. My conversation with Christine allowed me to feel this was a good fit for our dog Rio. The communication was excellent and more than I expected. I received texts, photos and a video. Rio was living his best life today. He got to play with another dog, go for walks and a swim. He is sleeping now after a fun filled day. I highly recommend you book with Christine. I love to shop in Petoskey so I know will be back.
