About: Hello! I’ve been living in Leavenworth for the past year and I’m highly interested in getting more involved with the community! I currently cannot own a dog or cat of my own due to my living situation. I have experience of taking care of dogs since I was a teenager. I love taking care of and being in the presence of dogs and cats. I enjoy spending quality time with dogs, staying active outside whether that’s playing ball or going for a walks etc. I’m a very respectful, kind and caring lady. I would love for you to reach out to me! I’m available Thursday Late afternoon-Sunday Evening. The rest of the week I will not be available. I am a flexible person and I have transportation. I’m very kind and respectful to all my clients privacy/ personally space. I take full responsibility of the care I’m providing and I’m grateful to be spending time with pets.
About: Dogs have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up with three big dogs and have always had a dog, cat, or both at home. I love getting to know each animal’s personality, and I’m always happy to provide some extra walks, belly rubs, and attention. I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own and make sure they’re happy, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I work in Leavenworth city limits and have great autonomy over my shift and break schedule. Most animals needs are something I can easily accomodate! With my own cat, Squish, I make sure they get daily playtime, a thoughtful diet, plenty of new toys, and lots of social time with friends and family. When I had dogs, they enjoyed morning and evening walks along with plenty of yard time.
About: I have spent most of my life taking care of fosters, strays, and hospice animals. I have volunteered at Pasado's Safe Haven and trapped ferals for spay and neuters. I have house sat for friends and neighbors. I am a compassionate animal lover and caregiver. I am available 7 days a week and your babies are never left alone. My returning babies know, sleeping on my bed whether it's just for a nap or over night stay is their comfort zone. I have a smoke free pet free children free spacious apartment, in a quiet neighborhood. Adjacent to woods and water access for long walks. I have access to a fenced area where I take the fur babies that love to run and catch balls. I allow your babies on my furniture, and they are free range throughout my living space. In the summer months I have air conditioning to keep them cool and a safe balcony if they wish to sun themselves. I am flexible with your pet's energy, and I incorporate lots of activity time, while also taking it slow for older gents and ladies. Rest assured your pet will never be left alone or crated unless requested.
About: I love pet sitting because animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up on a farm taught me responsibility, patience, and how to care for animals of all sizes and personalities. Being around pets feels natural to me, and I genuinely enjoy making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Pet sitting doesn’t feel like work, it feels like spending time doing something I’ve always loved. I have two dogs at home so I’m super used to working around animal schedules. I’m currently a hybrid nursing student so I have a bunch of free time and use this to earn some extra cash! I have hands-on experience house sitting in my hometown in Washington, where I’ve been trusted to care for both homes and pets while families are away. I treat every home with respect by keeping it clean, secure, and running smoothly, while also making sure pets receive the attention, care, and routine they’re used to. Having grown up around animals and regularly house sitting in my community, I understand how important trust and reliability are, and I always aim to give clients complete peace of mind.
“Don't hesitate, just book with Nicole! She is a true professional. Our energetic dog and house were both well cared for and we were able to fully relax on vacation knowing everything was taken care of at home. Hoping she is available for all of our future trips.”

“Mike is AMAZING! He was able to help us out last minute and gave us so much peace of mind. We totally trust Mike with our dog. Our dog looks relaxed and happy in the updates that Mike sends, and we never have to worry that our dog isn’t getting the care and love he needs. Thank you Mike!”

“Jasmine did a terrific job caring for my 2 Dobermans and my senior Havanese. I have been showing and boarding dogs professionally for over 20 years and I am so impressed with the care Jasmine provided for my dogs. I would highly recommend her for all ages and sizes of dogs. I will definitely be using her again.”
“Sandy watched my three large dogs for nearly two weeks while I was away, staying in my home the whole time. She kept me updated and sent photos throughout, which I really appreciated. One of my dogs, Clyde, is a Pointer who tends to shut down and refuse food when I'm gone-with Sandy he was eating well throughout. I returned home to three happy, healthy dogs and a house that was genuinely well cared for. With three big dogs, that's no small thing. Would absolutely book her again.”

“Jamie is awesome with our fur kids. She went above and beyond to make sure they got enough exercise and attention while we were away. We would not hesitate to recommend Jamie for in home petsitting or dog walking... The pups love her and we do too.”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for awhile. I do have allergies with cats but have no problem with taking care them and loving them equally. I have worked with pets who have needed medication (not shots but willing to give them if properly shown how to), nutritional/physical needs, and senior animals. I am currently a full-time college student. My class and work schedule are new to me. However, I am flexible and open to discussion regarding your pet's needs. I am detailed-oriented, a perfectionist, caring, loving, and safe. I will make sure that your pets are fed, groomed (if needed), watered, taken out (if needed), and loved as if they were my own.

“Lauren was great! She communicated with us so well that we were able to truly enjoy a weekend away from the furbabies for my sons wedding! We would highly recommend her and already have!!!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Peshastin
Abby is such a kind and compassionate pet sitter. During our meet and great we new immediately she would be a perfect fit. We were traveling in our RV and wanted to attend an event in Leavenworth that did not allow dogs. I decided for the first time ever to look into pet sitters that could come to our RV and sit with our pups and walk them during a 4 hour period. We are so happy we found Abby. She is responsible, dependable and a delight to be around. We will definately hire Abby again when in Leavenworth.

Abigail is awesome! My girls were very well taken care of happy. She followed my instructions exactly as my girls are on a different feeding program. I will definitely use her again! I have no reservation in recommending her! Thank you Abigail! Gracie and Riley thank you!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Peshastin walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Peshastin maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Peshastin choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Peshastin. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
