“Hope was great for our 5-month old Aussie puppy. She had a number of other dogs there to play and had a great time. She was very responsive during her stay and asked a lot of questions prior to agreeing to watch her. Hope has a lot of experience with dogs and loves dogs. Will definitely have our pup stay with her again if we are in the area.”

About: I have had dogs for all of my life. Through the years I have had a Great Dane, a Doberman, and several mixed-breed dogs. I understand the unique needs of different breeds and am comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Pet care fits seamlessly into my routine as I work from home, managing multiple online jobs. This allows me to be flexible and available throughout the day to give your pet attention, exercise, and any care they need, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for while you're away. I live in a somewhat secluded area, which makes it easy to take dogs outside for walks or playtime, either on-leash or off-leash, depending on their comfort level and training. My home has plenty of space for dogs to play indoors, so they can stay active and entertained no matter the weather. I prioritize a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets, both inside and outside.

“Great experience & Taluk loved Nancy & her house & other animals, too!”

“Once again, Elli saved the day, accommodating our last-minute request and allowing us flexibility with drop-off and pick-up. Our dog got so excited when we got out of the car. He stayed there before, and he seemed in a rush to see his friends again. Elli did an amazing job caring for our dog over the holidays. We couldn't be more grateful.”

“Kaitlin is absolutely amazing! I've been using her for the last couple of months and my pup Lailah really has taken to her. Lailah experiences some separation anxiety so its a good feeling to not hear her screaming down the hall after I drop her off :) Kaitlin also does a very good job keeping in the loop while I'm away, and provides Lailah with plenty of entertainment including taking her to Central Park and Randall's Island. Always an adventure. Not to mention, she takes the best pics lol.”

About: My love of dogs has taken me so many places! For over a decade, I worked as a guide dog instructor at an internationally recognized guide dog school, learning and putting into practice everything about dog behavior, training, and the human-animal bond. That time is long past, but I still just love dogs: their personalities, their quirks, and their people. I'm experienced with pups to seniors, the tiny to the giant, the healthy to the ailing. I try to help each dog feel comfortable and happy, and help their people feel the same way. 😊 I also have plenty of experience caring for other animals: cats, horses, goats, chickens... I work remotely on Mondays and Fridays, so from Thursday night through Tuesday morning, dogs have a lot of human company all day long. Mid-week (Tues, Wed, Thurs), dogs are exercised in the morning, spend the work day relaxing at home, and the human fun begins again the evening. In my home: I have a large unfenced yard; boarding dogs are on long line to exercise outdoors and are not left unattended outdoors(!). I have one medium-sized, friendly dog, and one cat. I can crate your dog if you or they like, or give them a crate as an option. In your home: I am not the most straightforward or cheapest option for house-sitting; I have a dog of my own (can be accommodated elsewhere temporarily) and sometimes teenagers. However, I might be what you're looking for if you have special circumstances: multiple pets that need experienced management, pets with special medical or behavioral needs, or reliable care for a small farm.

“Ericca took very good care of my dog while I was gone for three days. She sent updates and photos without me even asking, and he was in great spirits when I picked him up. Highly recommend!”

About: I have about 10 years of hands-on dog experience and a solid understanding of dog body language, behaviour, and psychology. I am also currently working on gaining my first dog training certification. My training specialty has landed on service dogs, but I still have experience with basic obedience, tricks, and behaviour modification. I’m also about to begin my journey in dog grooming! Currently this is my full time job, which means I am home nearly 24/7 to care for your dog. In the case I do need to step out it’s rarely for more than 3 hours. For dogs boarding with me, we start the day with a bathroom break and short play session (if interested). Then dogs are fed breakfast and given at least 30-45 minutes of down time. After that we may have daycare dogs join us. Then we adjust depending on the dogs’ personalities and preferences. We could spend the day playing, just hanging out, or a bit of both! Throughout the day we take at least 2 short breaks and 1 long break to ensure everyone stays hydrated and has a chance to rest. If anyone gets dirty I will rinse and dry them off before pick up to ensure they go home clean. As our yard is unfenced dogs go outside on a leash or long line unless e-collar trained. I also have two large crates as well as an x-pen on hand to ensure dogs have their own space for breaks, meals, and sleep. If for some reason a dog needs a muzzle (e.g. eats rocks) I have 1 on hand for a medium-large dog.

“We had a great experience with Desiree. Our husky Kona stayed with her for a couple days and was absolutely exhausted from all the fun! Desiree sent us daily photos of our dog and was very flexible with our pickup/ drop off timing.”

About: As a true animal lover I’ve taken care of pets (cats and dogs) since I was a little girl. As the founder of pet club in secondary school, my love of furry friends never wavered! I went on to adopt my own little sausage after years of rescuing stray pets. I’m currently working from home 5 days a week and take allocated time to walk my little one! Here to help out 24/7 when you have to run an errand or take a trip. I walk Flori early in the morning and getting home to feed her for around 10. She then has dinner at 5 (with snacks and treats In between) and goes for a run around our local park. We have training days on Tuesday and Thursday so we can refresh our tricks/commands and learn new ones. I have a friendly sausage ready to play with your furry friends! She has her own play room in our conservatory that opens out into a fenced garden!

“Cindy was the best rover Apollo has visited. She was super easy to contact, helpful with updates and even helped me w some training tips. Apollo didn’t want to go home after - will definitely contact again”

2. Richard & Hope R.
“Richard has been renting from me for about six months and helping with the dogs I have here when I get busy. He has helped in the past when I have needed an extra helper with some of the dogs I have. He helps me to organize the feeding and sometimes brings them out for walks so we can get them out in a timely manner. He is a loving and responsible person who can be trusted with your dog as he has always had dogs in his life, getting his first dog (a Great Dane mix) when he was ten years old. He has cared for my dog Maebe numerous times and she loves him dearly.”
