About: Here’s a bit about me: I’ve had kitties my whole life and am very accustomed to taking care of them, cuddles, cleaning litter boxes, etc… My childhood cats were very playful and I spent many hours with them cuddling and playing with toys while being responsible for their feeding/cleaning. I’ve also been there for the later years of two of my cats and know how to take care of them when they start to slow down, especially when they need some special care. About: I have cared for and have had my own cats for many years. The oldest was 29, while the youngest was just a couple days. I have bottle fed, administered medications and just been a friend. I have trained a few to play fetch and have been a source of comfort during labor and delivery while 1 was delivering a litter of 9 kittens. I believe cats are wild at heart but love whole heartedly when they find their person/people.

About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: Dogs and Cats are just as stressed as you when you have to go out of town. I get it. I want to be here to help your fur baby at home have a low energy time as they are missing their parents when they are gone. I think it’s great to interact as much as possible just as much as I think it’s great give them space when they need it. I do not currently have any pets but I have been volunteering at animal shelters for ten years. Through this experience I was able to learn dog and cat behaviors of all kinds. I go in treating the area like it’s their space and I am just a visitor and not a threat. Usually I bring treats and try to see if it’s a good fit (if allowed).

About: Our home has been a foster refuge since the 90's, I have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of pups and many cats find their loving homes. My experience with so many personalities and individual canines has given me the confidence to offer quality care for dogs in my area. I especially enjoy caring for senior dogs, and I can also support your type of positive training modification. I have been through many, many training classes with my dogs. I have 4 dogs that have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen awards. Recently, my dog Willow, has received her AKC Farm Dog title. My dog Summer, has earned her CD -obedience- and her NDD, draft title, her Farm Dog Award, as well as many other AKC titles.With the fosters that have come to me, I have worked with MANY types of canines - all sorts of shenanigans...you bet!! I plan my day around walking the dogs, depending on your pets needs, the weather, and your schedule, my day is flexible. About: I have 100 acres of land for your pet to run on a long lead!! Exercise is included with playtime fun!! Provide bath time too I am retired and have 100% free time to provide to your Pet!! Mon thru Sunday, any time!! Playtime , bath time and exercise !! My Daughter Sadie also runs the buzz with me so one of us will always be available. I’d like to add a fence in the future however I have four outside long runs where your dog can get exercise with the toys that they and I will play with. No need to worry about your dog escaping.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. I am used to dealing with a more shy dog on a regular basis. Hope to hear from you!

“Laura and Tyler were great with my dog! He has pretty bad separation anxiety which makes it very difficult to leave him new places. Laura was awesome about introducing her dogs one by one and letting him get accustomed to her dogs and her home. She tried different areas to see where he would be most comfortable and really put time and effort into getting him to relax and be comfortable. She kept me up to date and make me feel a lot better about where he was and how he was doing. I would definitely use them again when we're in the Adirondacks!”
