About: I grew up on the family farm surrounded by dogs and cats and all kinds of animals - caring for them was part of my life. That lifelong connection led me to volunteer at a local dog and cat shelter where I've gained even more experience with pets of all temperaments and needs. I treat every animal like family and I willl give your pet loving care whether it's for a quick walk or an overnight stay. I have a very flexible schedule so I can fully prioritize pet care. My days naturally revolve around the animals I am caring for and I enjoy creating routine that suits their needs. My home, farm in the woods, is calm and pet friendly space where animals can relax, go for walks or play. In client's home, I'm respectful of their space and routines, I communicate with the owner, send updates and make sure the pet has all my attention.

About: My name is Chelsea. I am married and have two daughters and a son. They are 10, 6, and 3. I have a wonderful German Shepherd and a 20 pound cat named Karen. We love caring for other animals. We also live on three acres so there is plenty of room to run and play! I can come to your home or board in ours. We are very active individuals. Both my husband and I are runners. Just let me know if you have anymore questions and I would be more than willing to answer them! We are very flexible with our schedules. My husband works full-time, but I drive for Uber so I can make my own schedule when needed. We try to stay as active as possible and play with pets in the home. We have a German shepherd that loves the extra play time!

About: I'm especially good with timid animals, and I love making them feel more at ease. I have a soft presence and a lot of patience. I'm good at reading dog language. I'm super responsible, so you can count on me to follow your dog's preferred daily schedule and to send you updates. I work from home, in a neighborhood that's pleasant for dog walking, and we have a fenced backyard. I grew up with small dogs, wanted to be a vet. I've cared for my current doggo for 9 years. I work from home, and my time AWAY from home is flexible. I can definitely be here as your dog is getting used to our home. About your dog's experience in our home: My home office is on the main floor, and I'm aware of all activity in my small-ish house. Your dog can rest on the sofa, futon, rugs, or the big dog bed--or in a kennel if they prefer. I have a fenced yard with room to run. Our friendly 10-year-old, 35-pound boxer mutt, Kiri, enjoys playing with small dogs. But she's not at all pushy. :-) About caring for timid animals: I had a deep, deep bond with a very timid cat, and I just have a super soft spot in my heart for them. I had a shy young kiddo. One of my "day jobs" is a coach for introverted people: I help people honor their introversion, including their need for quiet, calm, and solitude. About my profile photos: I'm the one in the family who takes the photos, so it's nearly impossible to find a photo of ME and Kiri. :-} I include some photos of our house and yard (kids' faces blurred) to give you a sense of our space. Kiri is part of our family. She hangs out in the common spaces with us, and in the backyard. We take her to the dog park or on daily neighborhood walks. The first 3 photos are at dog parks. The rest of the photos show our house and yard.

About: Since childhood, I have enjoyed the companionship of dogs. The first family pet I knew for nearly its entire lifetime was our rescue beagle my family adopted when I was about 8 years old. I have pet sat in the past, both overnight/in-home sitting, in addition to drop in visits to feed and let dogs outside for potty time. I have experience caring for senior pets, adults and puppies. I am available to care for your pets during weekday late mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, and for overnight stays with your pet(s) as well. I am comfortable crating dogs if necessary and I have some experience caring for dogs with special needs, more specifically senior dogs that have mobility challenges.

About: We have three dogs and three cats and they are all awesome! They require a lot of exercise and walking and attention which I gladly give them. One of our dogs has allergies so we know to be careful with what dogs can have. One of our cats has asthma and we are experienced in giving medication. I work from home with flexible hours. I am available for a drop in or a walk so that your dogs get some much needed exercise or a potty break. I am here to keep your animals company and to make sure they are safe and loved. I will follow whatever directions you set for your animals and make sure that they are well taken care of.

“I often go with Sandy (and her dog Kiri) to the off-leash dog park. Kiri is always so happy, and clearly enjoys her time out. Sandy is very attentive to Kiri's needs. I see how kind and patient she is, especially with timid dogs. Kiri is well cared for, well trained and gets along with other dogs. I highly recommend Sandy for her excellent dog care.”

Megan S.
“Megan has cared for my dog and cat on numerous occasions. She’s willing to go the extra mile with any special requests and takes care of them as though they were her own.”

mark m.
“Mark has taken care of my three dogs on multiple occasions. He has truly become a family member to them. Mark knows the importance of exercise for my high energy pup, and takes her on long exploratory walks. He also gives the older dogs short walks, if the weather allows, and lets them sniff and investigate on a slow and easy pace. Mark is intuitive to their needs and behavior, and always gives me updates on the dogs while I am away. He is also very flexible, as I have been late to get home, and he has been available to assist with my last minute schedule changes.”
