About: I've been around animals my entire life, growing up on a farm caring for them was part of my daily routine. In addition, I volunteer at shelters and have experience fostering both dogs and cats as well as watching family and friend's animals when they are away. I do not currently work outside of the home, so I have a flexible schedule and time to dedicate to animal care, including walks, drop-ins and overnight stays. I enjoy spending time with animals and will provide them with lots of attention and companionship. We currently have three dogs and a cat of our own, so caring for animals is truly part of my everyday life. One of my dogs is reactive, which has given me firsthand experience in understanding triggers, reading body language, and creating a calm, structured environment to help them feel safe. I'm mindful with boundaries, slow introductions and importance of routine for dogs who need a little more support. My schedule is very open and flexible right now which means I can accommodate a variety of schedules and can be very attentive to each pet's needs and routine. If I'm staying in your home, I treat it with the utmost respect and keep things clean, organized and secure. I bring a grounded, mindful presence to pet care. I practice yoga and truly enjoy creating a peaceful environment for both people and animals. I am active and enjoy getting outside so your pets will get the exercise and attention they need, balanced with companionship while you are away.

About: Hi, my name is Gianna, i’m 18 years old. I have much experience with dogs, my family owns many dogs, one of each size. I can promise your animals will be safe with me, i also get along very well with cats, i have one of my own. I’ve understood that cats take very long to get used to and comfortable around new people and i am patient enough for that. Every morning before work, i let my aunts 4 dogs outside. i fill their food and water bowls as i take them out around 9 am. i bring in my aunts Argentinian dogo’s food bowl at 5pm (very big dog btw LOL) and throw in extra boiled chicken that they have made for him already. I try to help as much as i can with them. I care for pets by ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met, whether in my own home or a client’s. This includes feeding them the right diet, providing fresh water, and offering daily exercise through walks or play. I also monitor their health for any signs of discomfort. I always make sure I create a safe, comfortable environment for my clients pet it is a top priority. I also communicate closely with pet owners to ensure all specific care instructions are followed and address any concerns promptly.
About: I have experience with senior care (medication, frequent potty breaks) and puppy (play sessions) care! My house has no children and is typically a calm welcoming environment. I’m currently doing my internship hours and schooling online. I also work as a substitute teacher. This provides me with more flexibility with boarding times. My sister, who works from home, helps me take care of our dog and our boarding visitors when I need to step out of the house. We can provide potty breaks at any time and can attend to your pet’s needs 24/7. I have a fenced yard, however pets only go outside for some sunbathing time or potty breaks. Water bowls are set up in different areas of the house and any feeding schedule can be implemented. Someone is always home which means your pets always has company. My dog, Cece, enjoys having company over, but she typically gives others their space. I only board one dog at a time to make sure that pets feel safe and are not overwhelmed by the new environment. Pets are always allowed on the couch and sleep in my room.

About: Hi! My name is Leiayjah 🐾 I’ve always had a deep love for animals and treat every pet like family. I grew up with a dog named Tank, who was incredibly loving and gentle, and I also had a family cat named Garfield. Those experiences helped me understand how important it is to give pets not just care, but real attention, patience, and affection. I’m very active and love being outdoors, so your pets will get plenty of exercise, fresh air, and playtime. Whether it’s a relaxing walk or a fun adventure, I make sure they stay happy and engaged. I truly don’t see animals as “just pets”—they’re fur babies who deserve love, comfort, and a safe environment. Here’s what I offer: • Drop-in visits • Frequent potty breaks • Daily or hourly walks • Outdoor activities and playtime • House boarding I’m reliable, attentive, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe and loved while you’re away. You can count on me to provide consistent care, updates, and lots of affection every step of the way. Rover only shows one location, but I am also in the Riverside area as well! I’d love the opportunity to care for your furry family member! 🥰🐶🐱 Your pet’s day will be full of love and fun! We start with a morning potty break, breakfast, and any needed medication, followed by a walk or playtime. Midday includes more potty breaks, cuddles, and outdoor fun. In the evening, we wind down with dinner, meds if needed, a relaxing walk, and lots of snuggles before bedtime 🐾🦴 Safety and trust are my top priorities. I live in a house with a fully enclosed backyard for safe play, and all dogs are kept indoors where they’re supervised and comfortable. I carefully follow each pet’s routine, including feeding, medications, and any special instructions—like crate time if needed, separate feeding, or specific schedules. Whether at my home or yours, your pet will be in a safe, structured, and loving environment with plenty of attention 🏠

“Felicia is such a God send! This is our first time using a cat sitter, and Misty took to her so quickly. She sent us detailed updates, photos, and gave her ample play time. We really appreciated how well she took care of Misty while we’ve been away. This has been the longest we’ve left her it’s been so nice to have some peace of mind. We would definitely work with Felicia again and recommend her without any reservations!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
