About: I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs my entire life, from small breeds (Boston Terrier) to big dogs (Great Pyrenees) and have always loved caring for them. I also have years of experience fostering dogs (Golden Retrievers), which has taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable to each dog’s unique personality and needs. As an FSU grad student, I’d love the opportunity to spend my free time giving dogs the exercise, attention, and companionship they deserve. Pet care has always been a natural part of my daily and weekly routine. Growing up, I fostered Golden Retrievers, which taught me a lot about caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve also had two different Great Pyrenees, so I’m very comfortable caring for large dogs and understand the importance of consistent exercise, feeding, grooming, and attention. On top of that, I’ve dog-sat for several friends’ dogs, giving me experience with different breeds, temperaments, and routines. Overall, I really enjoy being around animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping their normal routine as consistent as possible. Growing up fostering Golden Retrievers gave me experience caring for dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve also had two Great Pyrenees, so I’m comfortable with large dogs and understand the importance of proper feeding, exercise, grooming, and attention. I’ve also dog-sat for several friends, which has given me experience adapting to different dogs, routines, and household environments. In a client’s home, I would follow their specific instructions for feeding, walks, medications if needed, playtime, and other daily routines. I also make sure to give pets plenty of attention, keep their space clean, and communicate with the owner about how their pet is doing. My goal is to make each pet feel comfortable and cared for while their owner is away.
“Madeleine is amazing and hilarious. She gave me the peace of mind of knowing that pet with special needs is in great hands and went above and beyond to help him when he was struggling. Thank you so much!! ❤️”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats as pets since I was born! I have experience taking care of neighbor’s pets overnight, and love going for long walks with furry friends. I’m currently training for a 10k, so if your puppy likes to run, I’m happy to take them along with me! I have experience with both large and small dogs, and currently have four large dogs in my family home that I grew up with. I have experience in giving medications to senior dogs, as well as providing comfort care. I also have experience caring for rabbits, as I had one as a pet for 8 years. I currently work as a graduate student at FSU, and have plenty of time during the day to spend with your fur babies! I am also available all day on weekends, including Fridays, for pets that prefer someone constantly home. I love going for long walks around Tallahassee, so dogs with lots of energy would fit perfectly with that. I also enjoy lounging around and taking short strolls if your pet is more low-energy. I can crate a dog if necessary, and am not stranger to animals with strange dietary needs (my own dogs are extremely picky eaters). I have experience giving medications to dogs, cats, and rabbits as well.
“Colette is wonderful with my sweet 17-year-old Yorkie, Bentley. He adores spending time with her—whether he’s boarding at her place or enjoying one of their walks together. She’s truly a lifesaver, and I’m so grateful for the love and care she gives him.”
About: My experience with animals goes beyond caring for my personal household pets for 13 years and my volunteering with shelters/rescues for 3 years. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, comfort level, and needs. I take the time to pay attention to those individual differences rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, independent, social, or needs a little extra patience, my goal is to provide dependable care while helping them feel secure and comfortable in your absence. Your pet’s safety, routine, and wellbeing are always my priority. I’m available Monday through Friday, as well as weekends, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. My schedule is flexible allowing me to provide consistent, attentive care and accommodate different pet routines and needs. I care for pets in the comfort of their own home. I follow each pet’s normal routine and provide the specific care they’re booked for, while also paying attention to the little things that make them feel loved and at ease.

“Addison is very professional and takes such great care of our girls! Very patients and follows all instruction to a tee! Very communicative and gives great feedback! She has become our weekly doggie walker and the girls love to see her!”

About: I’ve grown up with pets all my life. I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors pets for many years! All types of animals as well. I have taken care of high energy dogs like Huskies, and Belgian Malinois. I also have grown up with dogs that can be aggressive and dogs with anxiety. I can administer medication, take them for long walks and play with them thoroughly. I’m working full time but a flexible schedule. I’m usually working mid day with an hour break. And I can adjust my schedule with notice in advance to work around your pets needs. I will gladly play with your pets in a backyard, take them for long walks, play with them inside etc. My pets are like my kids and I will treat yours as such!

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for the past four years through pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors, and it’s something I genuinely love. I also have a 12-year-old Portuguese Water Dog, so I understand the importance of treating every pet with the same patience, attention, and care I’d want for my own. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” pets—I take the time to learn their routines, personalities, and little quirks so they feel comfortable and safe while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, or simply curling up for company, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. My goal is for every pet to feel like they’re spending time with a trusted friend, not just a sitter. My classes are online this semester, so I have a pretty flexible schedule and lots of availability throughout the week! I’m able to easily work around your pet’s routine and give them plenty of attention and care. 😊 I live in an apartment with three other girls, and we don’t have any other animals in the home. It’s a great environment for pets, and they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re here!

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

About: I've taken care of dogs and cats for the last 8 years, on and off. Neighbors, friends from school, and family have trusted me to take care of their furry friends, and I'm excited to start using Rover! I specialize in dog walking, feeding, pet sitting, and lots of playtime! I'm a junior at Florida State University, with a flexible school schedule. I have availability on days where I don't have classes to tend to your pet care needs! I live in a smoke free, clean 2x2 apartment. I care for pets in my home by making sure they are safe from any dangerous objects, feeding consistently at a certain schedule, and making sure pets are monitored.
About: I’ve loved growing up with dogs and miss taking care of my own! Friends & neighbors have trusted me to care for their furry friends and pet sitting is a simple pleasure of mine. I work full time with fluctuation in my hours through out the week, so I prefer pets who are ok being left alone throughout the day. I’d love to have a conversation about your specific pets and their needs! I get out every morning and evening for a walk and I’d love a pup to join me. I’m able to spend plenty of time with your dog getting them the exercise they need. I live in an apartment on a quiet street so I’d love to take your dog for walks and plenty of potty breaks. I’m comfortable with their crate if that is your preference as well.

About: I have 2 sweet pups of my own and their names are Nala (Corgi mix) and Lois (Jack Russell mix). Dogs make me so happy! I've had extensive experience staying overnight to stay with dogs, walking dogs and hosting guest dogs into my home. I'd love to meet your furry friend! I work as an Uber drive part time so I have an extremely flexible schedule. I am happy to work around what your needs are and I'm generally free on most weekends as well. I have a fenced grass backyard with room for the puppers to roam around. I want to take every opportunity to have your dog feel safe and comfortable with my own dogs. I would never leave the dogs alone if I wasn't confident they would get along. I always love meeting new dogs and learning about their unique personalities!
About: What sets me apart is my hands-on veterinary experience and comfort with a wide range of animals. I’ve worked with exotic pets for 2 years and dogs and cats for 3, and I currently work in the ICU at a veterinary specialty hospital. This gives me strong skills in monitoring health, recognizing warning signs, and providing extra care for senior pets or those with medical needs. I’m confident, attentive, and committed to keeping every pet safe and comfortable. I am currently part time working Friday- Sunday and I am open anytime of day during Monday - Thursday. I am always flexible so let me know! I prioritize a calm environment when caring for animals. I understand how important it is for pets to feel secure, so I stay gentle, attentive, and respectful of their needs. My goal is always to create a space where animals feel comfortable and owners feel confident trusting me with their care.
About: I’ve taken care of my Boston terrier for five years and taught him potty training. I’ve also walked neighbors dogs in my local neighborhood and truly enjoy giving each pet love, attention and care. I’m currently a part-time student with a flexible schedule, so I can care for your pup mornings, afternoons, or evenings. I’m available Monday through Sunday and will do my best to accommodate your needs. I will make sure your dog gets plenty of love, belly rubs, and walks. I always follow owner instructions carefully to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in every environment.
About: Hi, I’m Analia! What separates me from other pet sitters is my unique experiences with animals while working and managing in a corporate setting (a pet store). I know very well the standard of care that the pickiest of clients (and animals!) expect, and my hope is to be allowed to extend such high standards and more to any pets in need of a buddy, and facilitate your peace of mind while they’re under my watch! My love for animals is boundless, and I can assure you that your animal will come back to you feeling super loved and appreciated too :) I am a happy and enthusiastic learner and most of all very, very adaptable to your pet’s individual needs and special requirements as well as your own personal day to day requests. Currently part time with a lottttt of free time in the afternoon! I am able to make drop in visits or walks as need be. I've also worked together with my partner (very loving and a stickler for rules- your rules!) to ensure we cover any gaps in timely care. My partner would be part of the meet and greet should we need to ensure your pets are comfortable and socialized if my visits before and after work do not suffice :) It goes without saying, I will heed whatever tips you have for your pets—they’re your babies after all!!— and I will absolutely make sure their safety and well-being is paramount while in my care! Never off a leash when outside, and always with my phone handy in case of emergencies. (Knock on wood!)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
