And I can adjust my schedule with notice in advance to work around your pets needs. I will gladly play with your pets in a backyard, take them for long walks, play with them inside etc. My pets are like my kids and I will treat yours as such!
About: I make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or just extra cuddles, your dog is always in good hands with me. Since I’m not currently working a full-time job, I have a very open and flexible schedule. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention throughout the day. I’m able to be fully present and make sure each pet gets plenty of care, playtime, and companionship. In my home, I make sure the space is clean, pet-friendly, and supervised at all times. My goal is always to make pets feel secure, happy, and right at home.
About: I've cared for furry friends since I could walk. My family raised me in an environment where caring for animals was a form of education, and one I'm happy to share every day. I own a business that operates in a seasonal fashion. This affords me the opportunity to be available where most aren't. Whether that be for day visits and walks, or night time check ins. My home is great for dogs. My old boy loves company. He's very gentle. I have access to walking trails as well. I am happy to accommodate for kennel trained or non-kennel trained.

About: My family had a pair of corgis when I was a kid, I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I started petsitting for families with dogs in 2012. I’m currently fully available Monday thru Sunday so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur babies everyday! About: I’ve been pet sitting for family for years now and figured it’s time to branch out the business. I live alone, have a large back yard and a nice park nearby my house. I would pet sit at times when I am available to and take on pets in a manner that makes logistical sense for me and my schedule. I check on them and look for any signs of obvious discomfort or distress. Make sure they have time to use the bathroom/clean litter box and water. Most animals will try and communicate to you what they need, so it’s good to follow the routines they have at home and interpret what they need and at what time.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
