“Izzy did great! Always kept me updated on my cat and made sure to send plenty of pictures! My cat can be a little picky with people, but he really seemed to enjoy her company!!”

“Jess was amazing! She was very communicative the entire time and even sent pictures with updates. She was great with my pup and even stayed to play with her for a little bit, and ensure my dog had some food and water before leaving. Will definitely be booking with Jess again in the future!”

“Brooke was an outstanding support in taking care of our kitty (Professor) in our absence. What stood out was that she went the extra mile to understand our unique requirements to help take care of Professor to the best of her ability. She also took lots of pictures and videos of Professor, and it was wonderful to see them when we were away. Professor was in great spirits when we came back, and it was all thanks to the way Brooke took care of everything. With a highly personalized and super caring and loving approach, Brooke was a great support, and we are sure to strongly recommend her to others! Thank you so much Brooke!!”

“This was my first time using Rover. I was very skeptical to be honest. Allie did great with both of my dogs. She showed up when she told me she would and she sent me pictures and notes which I appreciated very much.”

About: I love animals and have cared for many different kinds. I'm also a Pre-Veterinary student and trained Veterinary technician. I've cared for animals of all ages and can identify sicknesses and health issues. I'm currently a college student with only 1-3 classes a day. I have big gaps between classes and a lot of free time to check on your pets and play with them when requested! As a pet parent, i aim to provide for the best care for my animals. I have a dog, cat, and leapord gecko which receive great care. As a pet owner, I will provide the same love I give to my animals, to yours.

About: I will love your pet as much as you do! I've cared for cats since I was a small child and in 2018 expanded my care to the doggy dog world. A house is not a home without a furry friend..or 2...or 3! I spoil my animals with toys, treats, furniture and an abundance of attention! It is certainly paradise for them. I've managed multiple special diets with pills for extended stays as well as administering insulin. My experience with a variety of dogs is growing pretty quickly. I am very friendly and all dogs seem to love me. I am almost always available. Your home and pets are in good hands with me! I look forward to making your time away as stress-free as possible! You will get daily (or more if you want) pupdates including a cute collage summing up the day. Can't wait to meet you and your fur kid! I am just at home with my pets all day and my husband/child in the evening so I am pretty flexible on when I can come to your home. I follow whatever routine you have in place for your pup. A main benefit of a pet staying home is so to not upset the routine. Give me instructions and I'll follow them.

“Lynn was so great with our cats! She took care of all their needs and gave them plenty of love. She made sure to play with our youngest a ton to get that kitten energy out, and she was patient and comforting to our older (extremely shy) cat. We're so happy with our experience with Lynn and we'll definitely be calling on her next time we need a sitter. Thanks Lynn!!”

About: I’ve always loved dogs since I was a kid. Whether it’s watching your dog over the weekend or for a walk, I can’t wait to be able to love on them! I work full time during the week, but am available in the mornings and evenings. I have every other Friday off, allowing me to be available the entire weekend. I have experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I can walk, run, play fetch, tug of war, or even just love on and snuggle with your pup. If you have any questions, just send me a message! I can’t wait to get to know your dog! I can provide services before and after work during the week. I’m off every other Friday providing additional availability. I’m also free on the weekends. I will ensure your pet is safe and comfortable during walks or during drop in visits. I can do whatever is needed to meet their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8, but have been an animal lover all my life. While I started out just walking them, I began taking on responsibilities of bathing, training, and taking specific care of their health — I was always the first called over when my family’s late beagle, Calvin, was experiencing the seizures that came genetically. I am not just reliable and passionate, but experienced as well, and have an eight-year-old rescued Lhasa Apso named Yosef. Besides my job as a front cashier, I’m available during the late morning and the whole afternoon — to walk, sit, and take care of your pup. I am able to play with, walk, bathe, and administer oral medicines to pets. Special requests for their health or safety are no issue or feat for me!

About: I have always loved animals. I have owned a dog for most of my life, and I am also a mom to 5 children. Nurturing & caring for humans and animals is my jam! I am available most days, all day long, to love on and care for your pet. I am a mom to 5 children who are all in school so I have free time to help you and your pets. I have a fenced yard, 1 loving & friendly pup of my own, and 5 children that love dogs. We live in a safe neighborhood that has sidewalks.

About: I have been caring for dogs my entire life. I have experience bathing, walking, and playing with Chihuahua , Dachshund, Yorkie, Coton de Tuléar, Pitbulls,Boxers, and so many more! **Prices accounted for Rover’s fee** My schedule is fairly flexible to meet you and your pet’s needs! I do ask for request to be submitted at least a day in advance. I ask for same day care to be submitted two hours before requested arrival. My interactions with the animal depends on your pet’s interactions with me. For example, if your pet likes cuddles and has alot of energy. I would match that energy with various games and of course snuggle with them. However if your pet is the complete opposite and like to relax all day, I can do that too!

About: Thanks for the interest! Let me share about myself; I've raised litters of puppies until adoption. Weening, training, bathing, and vetting. I have provided simple training up to service dog training. I've learned over many years how to interpret dog language and behaviours as well as a lot of cat language and behaviour. Before moving to Peoria, I had a well maintained large fish aquarium with a dozen different fish. Animals are a big part of my life and helping others care for their furry family members. Its my passion to teach and help and it would be my pleasure to lend a hand in your busy schedule. I come handy with my own treats, bags, and extra leashes if needed! Have any questions? Please let me know!! My schedule is flexible around my CareGiving work. I walk my own dog at the park as much as I can with her age. I also leash walk my cat! Any rules I am given are followed. I'm big on following directions when given, otherwise it's all about the pet! Do they want to play, just be pet, be left alone? I'm here to indulge them and lock up before I go.

About: I’ve always loved dogs and know how hard it can be to find the time to do everything for them. I teach my old dog new tricks all the time! Sometimes 5 minutes is all they need. Not all dogs are lazy bones and with the more active dogs I love taking walks in the area. I’m a student working part time and lucky enough to have breaks throughout the day to find time to spend with some of your furry friends I have a cozy yard with a lead around a tree that can hold up to 100 pounds for the night time. During the day I live in a community that I can take relaxing walks around. In your home I will make sure your pet feels comfortable. Your dogs routine is important and if long walks are better than short ones I will adapt to your dogs needs!

You can expect your pets to be lavished with love and attention from me and my son when boarding or house sitting! My peaceful 10 year old son and I love going on long walks and having play centered activities with pets! “Brynn has been raised alongside dogs and cats her whole life, taking special interest in their care, health, and happiness. She began working in food service when she turned 16, and spent her free time mentoring young students as a school volunteer. She how attends college and wants to help pay her way through school by doing what she loves -- taking good care of animals in the neighborhood. Highly professional, responsible, and eager to help both people and their pets!”

“Tyra has kept Dexter for us in multiple occasions. She’s great with him! She’s gone above our scheduled expectations regarding walks, which Dexter LOVED. He was always entertained, happy and comfortable. I’d not only recommend her, but I would trust her to watch our pup again!”

Elizabeth S.
“I've been with Elizabeth since she started A Time For Pets and she has done a wonderful job of helping not only exercise but leash train my King Shepards, Lindy and Sammy. They used to rush the door to get out of the house, avoid putting their harnesses on, and were highly animal aggressive. While it was a slow progress, I'm so happy to have her as my sitter and even happier to have my dogs taken care of so well.”

Peoria Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
De'Aysia was fantastic with our pets! We booked her for an in-home visit while we were away and she took great care of our dog Legolas and cat Kiji. She followed all our instructions and requests perfectly. We got great pictures and videos of our pets during her checkup. De'Aysia was also very punctual and kept us in the loop about arrival times for door unlocking. We really appreciated how she did call us if she had any questions. Overall, it was a 5/5 experience, and we will definitely be booking with her again!
