About: I grew up with dogs and around other animals my entire life so not so shocking, I love animals! I personally have trained two puppies basic commands and had the privilege of caring for our elderly family dog who required insulin before every meal. I'm currently working part time and know my schedule typically 4-6 weeks in advance so I'm happy to accommodate anyway that I can. Please feel free to reach out. I treat every animal the way I would want my precious furry children or any family member to be treated! Lots of love, cuddles and treats

“Great communication and reliable!”

“Ross is great. Trust worthy. Stevie had fun with Ross while we were away for few days. Ross left our house clean and organized just as we left it. Really glad we found him to help us with our fur baby.”

About: Family and friends always trust me to watch their pets. I’ll love them like my own, and provide the upmost quality care for your fur baby! I’m currently working part time and doing my masters program online, therefore I have a very flexible schedule which makes it easy for me to be there when needed. I treat every pet and home with the same respect I’d give my own. I would follow their usual routine as closely as possible. I respect all house rules and also keep things tidy. I will always stay in touch as well to update on how the pets are doing!

“Kaitlyn was absolutely a saving grace staying at our home and taking care of our fur babies. She is so amazing with our young dogs, energetic, bratty, and crazy as they are. She is patient and our chiweenie (who does NOT like strangers) was napping in her lap within 2 days. (We were SHOOK) She sends pictures several times a day along with any funny moments or important updates. (Which put our minds at ease our entire trip). Our fur babies are our children and having someone who we now trust and is so amazing with them… it’s such a weight lifted. It’s a miracle to find someone like Kaitlyn. 11/10 recommend her!”

“Very pleased with our experience. Very loving environment. Hope you will consider watching Hannah again soon. Thank you very much❗️”

About: Help me save to adopt a shelter dog!! I have been around dogs and animals of all kinds for 20 years now, I have raised a puppy of my own who is currently 5. As a swim coach with a flexible schedule, I have plenty of time to spend with your pet throughout the day. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just hanging out for some company, I’m around and available. I know how important it is to keep pets feeling loved and comfortable while you’re away, and I genuinely enjoy the time I get to spend with them. i am very responsible and am comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I understand these pets are your babies and will treat them as if they were my babies too :)

“Allison is fantastic! Not only did she communicate with me a few times a day with updates on my sweet older dog, she also helped my neighbor with a small emergency ❤️❤️ I fully trust her and I recommend her 100%.”

“Run don’t walk, book now with confidence. Our dogs greeted us seeming very well-adjusted (a big deal especially for our older dog who generally lives life with blinders on. Claire clearly made them both feel comfortable, confident and at ease. It was a treat to come home to the bedding changed, laundry folded and dishwasher ran. A delightful and sweet note awaited us AND she reached out to inquire if we got home safely. I feel fortunate to have found her.”

“Thank you, Taylor. I appreciate your great care of both my pups!”

About: What sets me apart as a sitter is my experience with dogs of all ages—from energetic puppies to senior dogs who need a little extra care and patience. I’ve worked with a wide variety of breeds and temperaments, so I’m comfortable adapting to each dog’s unique needs. Whether it’s basic puppy training or providing gentle support for older dogs, I focus on making every pup feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Caring for dogs isn’t just a job for me—it’s something I truly enjoy! Pet care is a regular part of my life—I take care of my own 13-year-old dog every day, so I understand the importance of consistency, patience, and love. In addition to caring for my own dog, I often walk and look after other people’s dogs as well. I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. With a flexible schedule this summer, I’m available and committed to giving every dog the attention and care they need. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I always make sure their needs come first. I ensure they have fresh water, are fed on schedule, and get regular potty breaks. “Very pleased with how calm my dog was when we returned home so I knew he and Carolyne had gotten on well together. House was in great shape also. Thanks Carolyne!”

About: I grew up helping my family manage a horse farm, always in the vicinity of three or more dogs. This upbringing also put me in the vicinity of other dog/horse/cat enthusiasts, which has led to years of experience taking care of other people's pets! In other words, animal empathy, psychology, and intelligence is a fundamental part of my understanding of myself and the world. I want to put these skills to use in my day-to-day as I live and work out of Old Louisville, in an apartment too small for my own dog or cat. I'm able to provide sitting and pet care references upon request. I spend a lot of time and take a lot of joy in going on walks, and constantly find myself wondering why I don't sign up for Rover and get the privilege of doing so with a dog! So, I finally did. I currently balance two part-time jobs as a nonprofit assistant (which allows working from home) and as a fiddle teacher. My shifts at either location are never more than a few hours, and I get multiple breaks and transitions throughout the day. As such, my schedule is flexible and I largely choose when I work. I'd be available mornings, afternoons, and evenings if needed. I am willing to follow the procedures you have in place for pet care in your home. I believe that you know your pet and what works for their personality!

About: Let me ease your mind and bring comfort to your pets when you travel! I've been pet and house sitting for 20 years in the Pewee Valley / Louisville, Kentucky, area. I am great with dogs and cats. I have also taken care of chickens, rabbits and the like. I'm accustomed to watering plants, taking the trash out, and generally keeping a home safe and secure. While I am fairly new to Rover, I can provide references upon request. I just turned 65 in February, so your pets will get a lot of my undivided attention, especially if I'm house-sitting for you. I'm pretty much a homebody, though I do very much enjoy walking everyday, especially with canine friends! I will care for your pets in your home in a manner in which they are accustomed. I try to adapt my schedule and routine around theirs as much as possible. I have experience with elderly and special needs pets and can administer medications if needed.

“Nicole did a wonderful job of taking care of our two cats while we were gone for several days.”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats of all sizes. We even had rats for a few years. I love spending time with animals, it’s such a special experience to bond with them. I have experience house/pet sitting for family when they are out of town as well as caring for animals, regardless of needs (bathing, exercise, feeding, medications, etc) or age. I work Thursday’s through Sunday’s. Even on work days, I only work after 12pm. I am more then willing to help out when I’m free. While I can’t provide an environment for your pets to hang out, I am confident in my ability to navigate yours. I’m also an excellent walker, aware of surroundings, putting your puppers safety first.

17. Sarah T.
“Sally (Sarah) has been our go to pet sitter for well over 20 yrs. caring for multiple dogs and kitties. She has helped us out with short term pop-in visits as well as long term situations involving trips of several weeks. Sally is meticulous with schedules, medications, and leaving notes for what she and the fur babies have done each day. Sally is not the type to just breeze in, put food out, and leave. She spends time with them either outside playing in the yard, or taking walks, or just hanging out with them if it’s an unreasonably cold day. We are very close to our animals, and one of the worst things imaginable is that they’d think we had abandoned them. Luckily, when “Aunt Sally” is on board, we’re assured that they won’t be missing us so much. Highly recommended!”

18. Nicole G.

19. Zak W.
“ZAK has always taken such great care of Sandie, our mixed collie/beagle. He gets genuine joy seeing her so happy during her walks. He focuses on her enrichment the whole time, playing and engaging with her. Helping socialize her with passing neighbors and other animals and giving her cuddles and comfort (she is pretty needy, lol). He has never complained about long walks, winter or summer. He just enjoys being with her and being outside.”

20. Stephanie C.

“Stephanie does a wonderful job with Calvin, he’s very timid and scared of new people and she does wonderful with him. Best dog sitter for my sweet boy.”
