“Cannot say enough great things! Millie was taken excellent care of and enjoyed being there. I receive many pictures and videos and was comfortable my pup was in good hands, I will definitely be booking with Gabrielle again!”

“Dan is amazing!! She went above and beyond and gave multiple updates each day with photos and how my cat was doing. Dan cared for her like she was her own and was very attentive to my cat’s needs and quirks. She was always on schedule with feedings and changing the litter. My cat thoroughly enjoyed spending time there and was living her best life! I will definitely Rover with Dan again. I would highly recommend Dan to care for your pet!!”

“Alyssa was awesome! Her and her kiddos welcomed Zorro with open arms! She kept me posted on how he was doing and out my mind at ease during his stay. Thanks Alyssa, I will definitely be rebooking for any future needs!”

“Heather was great! We highly recommend her, my dog had a great time at her house which was perfect because doesn’t have steps. She send us updates and pictures daily giving us a peace of mind.”
“Stephen and Angela were absolutely amazing! They were very responsive and kept us informed on how our fur baby was doing throughout the entirety of his stay. It was evident Kobe felt right at home with them and we look forward to booking with them again for all future dog boarding needs.”

“This was my first time using Rover and Sean did a great job. I have two large dogs and had concerns with leaving them at another persons house. We completed a meet and greet, walked the dogs and agreed we would complete the booking process. Sean did a great job of communicating throughout the visit and made sure both of my dogs got plenty of time outside and plenty of walks. Sean went above and beyond for my pups! Will definitely book with him in the future.”

“This was only Sirius' second time with a non-family sitter in his two years, so we were a little concerned about separation anxiety. He did have some issues the first night, and Alexis and Daniel consulted with us and we were able to decide with them how to proceed. Luckily Sirius seemed to become more comfortable the second day. We are planning a longer trip and have no reluctance about leaving Sirius with Alexis and Daniel again.”

“I previously had boarded my dog before trying rover, and I will never go back. Angela was AMAZING! She took and shared lots of photos and updates while we were on vacation. Bruno loved playing with her dogs and kids, too! I would recommend her to anyone!”

“I can’t say enough good things about these folks. To start, they spent an hour with me and Benny (my pup) in advance of my trip and introduced us to their place. Benny loved the big backyard and I could tell he immediately felt at home. During my trip, I received daily videos of Benny playing with other dogs or being loved on, which made me feel good knowing I was so far away from home. Benny is such a good dog and I am grateful to have connected with people as equally good and loving. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

“This was my very first time boarding coco so I was very nervous about leaving her but Heather made me and coco feel like family ! She was very attentive with pictures and keeping me updated on her progress during the stay. Coco is a diabetic so there was an extra layer of anxiety with that but again Heather was very much on top of things which allowed me to have a great weekend away without worrying. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Bill was amazing watching our hound, who can be anxious. He had great communication and sent plenty of pics throughout her stay. She seemed very relaxed when we picked her up! Will be using his services again.”

About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.
“Incredible care for Oakley. I highly recommend Elizabeth and Phillip. They have Aussie experience and it made whole stay much easier. Oakley fit right in and I appreciated their flexibly on his food and exercises!”

“This was my trip where I needed to find a sitter for Copper. When we lived in Illinois, we always had a known friend come and care for him in his own space. Now that we live in Kentucky, we do not really know anyone yet, so I needed to search for someone I felt he would be a good fit for. I viewed Arla's profile and was impressed that the dogs in her care were well cared for and not just locked up for the majority of the day and/or night. The dogs got the opportunity to go for walks and really got to be a part of her family. I was not disappointed, Arla welcomed my best friend in to her home and so did her family. She kept me updated on how he was settling in and sent me photos of him. He looked so happy and relaxed. I have taken him to daycare before and was heartbroken to see him not interacting and always sitting at the door waiting to go home. This was not the case in Arla's care. He snuggled up on a fluffy blanket (his favorite thing to do) on her couch and Arla even messaged me to make sure Copper being on furniture was ok w me. All the anxiety I had with going away and leaving him in someone else's care was gone. I am eternally grateful she welcomed him into her beautiful home and made him feel loved. I highly recommend Arla to others looking for care for your furbabies!!!”

“Nissa took such wonderful care of our dogs! They had so much fun and I loved all the thoughtful updates while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing they were in great hands!”

“Kelsey was amazing with our dog Winston! He gets nervous about staying with other people and she was very understanding and catered to his needs. Would definitely recommend her!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
