“Gabrielle was amazing with our Rocky boy! She made sure to keep us updated, sent videos and pictures, which helped when we were missing our boy! From the looks of it had so much fun there playing with all of the other pups and was so happy when I picked him up. I can tell he was well taken care of and I will definitely be using her services again in the future! Thanks again Gabrielle!”

“I give Stephen and Angela 5 stars. They were very accommodating and answered all my questions. Since I was new to Rover I was worried about leaving my dog with someone I didn’t know but they made me feel comfortable. I would definitely use them again”

“We found Sean to be very caring, professional and wonderful man. He took excellent care of our Silver lab, Boone. He took time to let us be a part of him introducing Boone to the other dog who was staying with him. He sent us photos and sent us updates. We will definitely be using Sean again when we travel. ❤️”

“10 out of 10, 100% recommend. The sweetest family with amazing hospitality! AC immediately became comfortable with Dan. She provided photo updates all throughout the day. She was very thorough and intentional with care. Will definitely be a returning customer.”

“Angela is the best of the best! Super easy to coordinate with, she took so many pictures of Yeti while I was out of town—it looked like he had an absolute blast. Cannot recommend Angela enough!”

About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.
“We couldn’t be more grateful for the care and love that our sweet baby girl (Sol) received during her stay! Ebony was incredibly attentive, giving Sol the space she needed and a slow, gentle introduction. She even set aside special one-on-one time, keeping Sol entertained while they watched movies. We felt completely at ease knowing our baby girl was in such kind, thoughtful hands. Highly recommend!””

“I could tell Nala had a great stay with Carla and felt comfortable while she was there. Carla sent lots of pictures which helped me feel great about how she was doing and she was also very communicative about her scheduling. Thanks, Carla!”
“Jared and Waverly were great. Destiny definitely enjoyed her visit with them. They kept us updated with how she was doing thru out the stay. Deffiently will be haveing them watch Destiny agian.”

“Elizabeth and Philip provided the best possible care for my senior dog. I highly recommend them and would have no hesitation in trusting them with my fur baby again.”

Allie was FANTASTIC!!! This was our first time using rover. We were a little nervous. She was absolutely amazing. We got plenty of updates. Pictures and videos thru out her stay. Our Willa had the best time and I was afraid she wasn’t going to want to come home! I would highly recommend Allie as she will love your pet like her own! Will definitely use her again if she will have us!

Many sitters in KY ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
