About: I’ve been taking care/training dogs for 6+ years. I have worked with a professional dog trainer for about three years; training, boarding, walking, socializing, and generally taking care of them. I love training dogs cool tricks and basic obedience! I am currently enrolled full time in college, but am flexible in the early mornings, afternoons, and evenings seven days a week! Just let me know! I am experienced with taking care of/training multiple dogs, but would prefer working with one dog at a time (if you have multiple) until the dogs are at a comfortable level of training. This really varies on the animals, but I work with all situations.

About: My experience comes from a lifelong love of animals. I cared for my childhood dog from the time I was young until he passed away at 15 years old. About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

About: I have grown up with pets all my life. I currently have two dogs, two goats, two cats, and one chicken. I love caring for pets and I find pets to be comforting. I provide only the best care and I am a trustworthy pet care provider. I have 5 years experience in taking care of pets. I love cats and I understand their many mood swings haha! Pet care fits in perfectly with my weekly routine. I have a flexible work schedule which allows me to be with the pet(s) anytime. I know some pets may require having more potty breaks and I am well equipped to handle that task! About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. As far as boarding your dog, my husband and I work different shifts, so someone is always home. A fully fenced back yard and good sniffer walks in my small town. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!

About: I love animals. I have owned a horse, birds and fish. Although I never owned a dog or cat, Friends and family have always asked me to pet sit and I have always been more than happy to ablige. As a former letter Carrier, my favorite customers were four-legged. I am retired and want to stay active. Who can keep you more fit and active than a dog that is waiting for a walk-date? When I have dog sat, I usually go for multiple walks. I can walk all day. The dogs love it and it makes them tired. Animals need mental stimulation outside of their house or yard just like people.
