Our dog is old, with health problems (including incontinence), and we were so glad to find someone willing to sit him in their home. When we picked up our dog, Nicole had washed all the towels and bedding we had provided to help manage his incontinence. She went above and beyond in caring for him, and we really appreciated it. For people with younger, healthy dogs, Nicole has a large property with plenty of outdoor space. We highly recommend Nicole.”

About: I love to spend time with them , I like to play with them, I like to take them to the park. I will always keep them on a leash. I can teach them some tricks, sit , stay roll over. I can take them out every two hours, to go potty. I can keep them over night. I took care of a one eye cat, I took care of a blind dog. I have had dogs in diapers. I took care of a Yorkshire, who was pregnant, she went into labor at my house, and my mom and I delivered three little babies they came out every forty minutes. About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.

We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. About: I worked full time for a shelter and loved working with every animal there. Meeting them at their level so that their needs were completely fulfilled was my passion. Whether they were high or low energy, dim or bright, friendly or not, I thrived on figuring out what would make the the most adoptable and what would make them most comfortable in the harsh shelter environment. It was a difficult and demanding job at times especially when I needed to provide first aid or medication/therapy for ailing animals but I always enjoyed coming home knowing I did something that meant something to those parent-less pets. I also had the lovely opportunity to work the social media for the shelter and take photos and videos of each animal to best display their personalities to the wider public who wouldn't normally see them otherwise. I currently work part time with very flexible hours so I am frequently available to provide service to both my own pets and others. I find it very fulfilling to be able to make time for my own furry friends! Working in a shelter environment I often met many animals at their lowest when they were beyond scared and upset. I got exposure to many dogs and cats that were horribly unadapted to life around people and had personalities on either end of the spectrum. I am more than comfortable with animals that are more aggressive in both appearance and personality and was frequently tasked with retrieving abandoned or lost animals using the company van.
About: They call me that because once you start feeding squirrels, birds, stray cats, neighborhood dogs walking by, and maybe a raccoon & possum once or twice, like me, then you’ll start to befriend them. My schedule is very flexible and in the case of babysitting or walking a dog, I will be attentive and responsible. Since I currently have a dog at home I take her outside frequently, stay outside with her and walk around the backyard or throw a toy and play fetch or even just sit in the grass and give her belly rubs. My daily routine consists of letting my dog outside and hanging out with her off and on while also letting her have time to rest and chill by herself. My weekly routine is the same as my daily routine aside from additional car rides, pup cups, or cousin visits with other dogs. The safety, trust & Environment of the care for the pet in my home and or my client's home will consist of making sure all doors are shut when entering and exiting the home or garage. Also making sure the dog is on a leash and well equipped when walking through a neighborhood. I also have a fenced-in yard so I'm experienced with fences and the proper precautions if needed. I can easily create your dog too if needed. Also water supply and refilling the water bowl as needed and giving supplements or medicine also. Also will have the clients contact information in case of emergency.
