“I am so thankful for Lori's patience with my senior dog who needs a bit more care! She spent time with both my dog and cat and I could tell from the pictures that they enjoy her presence :)”

“Bradley walked our dog and she was much less high energy when I got home from work! It was much needed. Also I’m pretty sure he brought our trash cans in from the curb!!”

“My dog doesn’t deal with change very well but she has gone to being very stand offish to allowing Nikki to leash and walk her. She doesn’t pull on the leash for Nikki like she does for me. I’m unable to walk Sassy and am thankful I found Nikki on Rover. Nikki pays attention to Sassy and has helped her deal with har anxiety. I know Sassy is getting the best care while Nikki has her. Highly recommend Nikki!”

About: I have had dogs of my own since 1999. I have dog sat for family members in my home and in theirs. I completed dog behavior training while volunteering for a local pet rescue. I have a fairly open schedule at this time. While I will be doing pet care part time, most engagements should work with my schedule. When in your home, I will strive to maintain your pet’s environment and schedule. I want your pet to be comfortable while we are together.

About: I’ve loved and cared for a variety of animals throughout my life. I’ve had dogs, cats, a parakeet, hamsters, gerbils, rats, ferrets, fish, a bearded dragon, and a red tail boa. I LOVE animals. When I was a kid I would even spend my weekends at our local pet shop holding and playing with their animals. I am a mother of two teenagers, and have been a small business owner, so I am extremely responsible, reliable, caring, attentive to detail, and have the skills to do anything necessary to care for your pets. I am available most of the time, and my time is flexible. I recently sold my half of my small business and am now taking some time for myself (that I want to fill with animals!), so I am almost always available and flexible. We have a fenced in yard, but we also live in a beautiful historic neighborhood and love taking walks around the neighborhood and to the park as often as possible.

About: With over 11 years of experience fostering dogs and volunteering at local shelters, I’ve cared for pets of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. My background has given me a deep understanding of dog behavior, and I’m comfortable with everything from high-energy puppies to senior dogs who need a slower pace and a little extra TLC. I also have hands-on experience caring for pets with special needs, including administering medications and providing mobility support. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I approach every pet with patience, compassion, and reliable care you can count on. I’m currently freelancing, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on pet care. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in, or overnight stay, I can easily adjust my day to fit your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in your home or on a walk, I customize my care to each dog’s needs. I’m patient and focused on ensuring your pup feels safe, happy, and comfortable at all times.

“Autumn was such a huge help while I was working. She made sure Koda went on good walks and spent the time to come meet us before we started walking! She is on time and great with animals”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life. I’ve spent a couple years volunteering at animal shelter, where I was required to learn how to work with many different personalities. I’m very knowledgeable when it comes to reading dogs body language and figuring out their needs. I fed, walked, and played with many pups. I have 10 years of experience, taking care dogs. Neighbor, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I’ll enjoy taking your pup on long walks and hikes, basically anywhere dogs are allowed. I am very passionate about our furry friends and treat them with love and compassion, I will love your pup like it were my own. I currently have a flexible schedule so I can work from home if I need to. I normally do potty breaks every 4 hours. I also have a schedule of feeding twice a day but if you prefer a specific schedule let me know. Teddy is a friendly pup and will keep your dog entertained. I normally don’t crate dogs unless it is necessary. If you prefer your dog being crated or is being trained let me know. Your dog will be loved and cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Emma. I’m 31 years old. I have had a passion for animals my entire life. Recently, my 15 year old puppy, Rufus, passed away unexpectedly. I miss being a dog mom and helping take care of your animals will help fill that void. I treat every animal as my own, big or small. I have many many years of taking care of different types of breeds. I offer a few different services including overnight stays, drop in visits or the occasional walk/let out. Whatever you may need, don’t hesitate to reach out! I currently work for myself doing instacart. I’m out and about all day. I have all the time in the world to come take care of your babies! Every animal will be taken care of to the fullest. I will follow any instructions given to me for said animals. I will always make sure to keep an eye on the animal(s) when outside.

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes, from a 15lbs mini golden to a 130lbs mastiff. I love taking long walks no matter the weather (as long the dog is comfortable!) and have experience with senior dogs who require a lot of love and attention, and sometimes lots of medication. If your pet had specific needs, I can certainly make sure they’re taken care of the best way they can be! I have similar experience with cats, caring for teething kittens and senior cats who need extra attention. I love cats, but I understand sometimes they take longer to warm up. I don’t mind just hanging around until they feel comfortable enough to come up to me themselves. My number one priority is making sure your pet is comfortable and cared for. I’m a full time college student who’s lived in the Dayton area my whole life, allowing me to watch pets in the area year round (I’m a rising senior at the University of Dayton). I currently have an online internship, but it’s unpaid and I don’t get a lot of work to do. I have lots of time to devote to taking care of your critters. I’m willing to stay with pets for as long as they need, whether that means overnight or just some company during the day. I’m patient with pets that are wary of strangers; I do what I can to respect their boundaries. I will always wait until they’re comfortable enough to come up to me. I have a dog at home who is very nervous around new people. Because she’s so big we have to be very careful of how we introduce her to people. She’s a high maintenance lady, that’s for sure! But she loves just having company, and I know that many pets just want to have someone to be around.

About: I am an animal lover through and through, and started dog sitting at 15! I have been a reliable and caring pet sitter for friends and family members for many years. A few activities I love are playing fetch, going on walks and of course, snuggling! I’m experienced in giving medication to dogs and caring for senior pets. I have two cats of my own to snuggle, and two dogs at my parents house I often visit! I am currently working part time and would love to fill my schedule with dog walks or pet sitting during the summer! I enjoy living an active lifestyle as I go on hikes and bike rides during my free time. I have two cats at my own home so would not be able to take in animals. I look forward to being able to care for pets in their own home.

“Haley was on time and my pup came back happily tired. She handled his big puppy excitement well getting him to calm down very quickly. Will definitely book again!”

About: I’ve cared for pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I’m patient and gentle, and I know how to tailor care to your pet’s unique needs. Whether it's giving meds, keeping up with energetic walks, or offering lots of cuddles, I’ve got it covered. I also have experience with crate training and basic commands, and I always treat pets like family. I’m reliable and communicative, and I truly love what I do! I’m a student at UD with online classes this summer, which gives me a super flexible schedule and plenty of free time. I’ll be available all summer for walks, drop-ins, playtime, or overnight stays. Since my classes are remote, I can easily plan my day around your pet’s routine and give them the attention and care they deserve. I have two friendly goldendoodles of my own (Henry and Milo), so I’m very used to providing loving, attentive care every day. I’ve also taken care of my neighbors’ dogs and cats, so I’m comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether I’m in my home or yours, I focus on creating a safe, clean, and calm environment where pets feel secure and happy. I treat every animal like part of the family and always follow the routine that works best for them.

About: I’m strong and can hang with the biggest of ‘em and gentle enough for the littlest. I have a dog that requires daily pills and some say I’m a pro at them 👌🏻 I work a regular m-f/8-5 job and usually free on weekends the whole day. I can tend to your pet after work on the weekdays (gives me and your pet a little exercise 😉) I have a fenced in yard at my home and enjoy taking walks when I can. If a client doesn’t have a yard, I can take the pet for a quick once-around

About: I have owned a Goldendoodle for 6 years and adore him and everything to do with dogs. I love caring for dogs by playing and spending quality time with them. I think every dog only needs some playful attention and plenty of cuddles to keep them happy. I am currently working part-time, so will have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a very flexible schedule that can be adjusted when needed. Taking care of pets is one of my favorite hobbies! :) I have a large fenced-in yard for your pet to run around in, as well as one dog to keep them company!
