But Donai was patient with her and let Meeka warm up to her in her own way. Donai walked her daily and followed our feeding directions and took great care of her like she was her own. By day 2 Meeka let Donai’s pet her and by day 3 there were cuddles and Meeka wouldn’t leave her side. Thank you so much!”

About: I’ve taken care of, for one, my own dog since I was young and besides from that my neighbors, friends, and family always rely on me when they’re out of town to take care of their pets:) I’ve taken care of puppies and senior dogs! I’m currently enrolled at the University Of Louisville, and have some in person and also online classes so when I’m available could differ but I’m pretty flexible and I could bring my laptop anywhere! I love pets like they’re my own, I have a deep spot in my heart for them all🥹 I can crate any size dog if need be (I know some worry about that). More than happy to take them out wherever whenever, play/walk with them, or bathe them:)!

About: Dogs have always been family in my home, and that’s exactly how I treat every pup who stays here. My name is Keith and I share a home with my wife, Natalie; our 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound, Bernie, and our 6-year-old daughter, who has grown up loving and being around dogs. The home has a large, fully fenced-in yard with plenty of room for dogs to run, play, explore, or just lounge outside. Inside, the home is completely dog-friendly—couches, furniture, snuggles and all! I want your dog to feel like they’re staying with family rather than being boarded. One of the biggest benefits of staying here is that someone is almost always home. I work from home 90% of the time and the whole family is home on the weekends, so your pup will get plenty of attention, supervision, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. They won’t spend their stay sitting alone for hours. Having an Irish Wolfhound has also given me plenty of experience with large and giant breeds, but I genuinely love dogs of all sizes and personalities. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog with someone new, so my goal is to follow their normal routine as closely as possible and make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and included while they’re here. And of course, I am happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can see what your pup is up to! 🐶❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my everyday routine. I work from home majority of the time, so someone is almost always here. This means your pup won’t be left alone for long periods and will get plenty of attention, playtime, outside time, and cuddles throughout the day. I am available for weekday and weekend boarding and love having an extra furry family member around! The home has a large, fully fenced-in backyard with plenty of room for dogs to safely run, play, and explore. I also have a sweet 4-year-old Irish Wolfhound named Bernie who is very much part of our family. We have a 6-year-old daughter who has grown up around dogs and understands how to be gentle and respectful with them. The home is very dog-friendly—pups are welcome on the furniture, encouraged to get comfortable, and treated like part of the family while they’re here. I am also happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, sleeping, medication, crate, or exercise routine so they feel as comfortable and secure as possible.

I share experience in watching/walking dogs in training and those of senior age groups, I’m an animal lover at heart. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and have years of hands-on experience caring for them through different stages of life. I’ve helped care for Golden Retrievers from birth, giving me experience with puppies as well as adult and senior dogs. We run together daily, and through consistent training she has learned commands including sit, stay, shake, and other everyday manners. I typically start my day with a morning walk or run with my dog, and throughout the day I make plenty of time for walks, potty breaks, playtime, and attention. I’m also happy to slow things down for dogs who prefer a more relaxed day with cuddles and companionship. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime routine as closely as possible. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or would rather curl up and relax, I’m happy to adjust my day around their individual needs. I care for every pet as if they were my own while respecting the routine and instructions their owner provides. In a client’s home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive regular potty breaks or walks, and get plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship. I’m also mindful of keeping their environment clean and secure. I understand that every pet has a different personality and comfort level, especially when meeting someone new. I take the time to let them become comfortable with me at their own pace and will follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, exercise, medications, training, or household routines. Great communication, sent plenty of pictures, and I know that our three shy cats were definitely building that comfort and familiarity you all hope for in a house or pet sitter. Only feedback is the water bowls needed one last top-up, but not the end of the world. Overall Ryo was super respectful of our space, and left everything in its place. About: I worked in an overnight pet facility called Pet Station Country Club for close to a year as a part of the overnight team. From around 7pm to 6am I would have personal watch of dozens of pets including cats and dogs, and was in charge of giving them medications and potty breaks. I am also Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified, so I can give medical attention to your pet in an emergency. I have grown up around all kinds of cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and love pets! I am a full time student undergoing my junior year at University of Louisville, but am free multiple times during the day to check in on pets as I live within 5 minutes of campus. My evenings are free, and I have no prior commitments. The townhome I stay in has a fenced in yard and is incredibly close to University's campus, meaning it is a safe environment for walks and care.

“Kaitlyn was absolutely a saving grace staying at our home and taking care of our fur babies. She is so amazing with our young dogs, energetic, bratty, and crazy as they are. She is patient and our chiweenie (who does NOT like strangers) was napping in her lap within 2 days. (We were SHOOK) She sends pictures several times a day along with any funny moments or important updates. (Which put our minds at ease our entire trip). Our fur babies are our children and having someone who we now trust and is so amazing with them… it’s such a weight lifted. It’s a miracle to find someone like Kaitlyn. 11/10 recommend her!”
