“Elizabeth & Philip took care of our Lexi like she was one of their own. It was our first time leaving our dog under someone else’s care. They gave us peace of mind and updates on her care. We really appreciated it. They will always be our first choice in the future. Highly recommend!!!”

“Ebony was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made this experience way less anxiety provoking. She checked in, sent pictures, and loved my labradoodle like one of her own! I will definitely be re-booking!”

“Erin and George have an awesome set up and are great sitters. My two teenage pups had a blast playing outside and getting 1:1 attention. I’d highly recommend!!!”

“I had to find a sitter last minute and so happy I was able to find Cody. He was a great sitter, kept me informed and very down to earth person. This was my first time going through an animal sitter service but I will definitely book again.. with Cody ❤️”

“Jen was absolutely spectacular. I can’t say enough great things about her and how much care and attention she gave my little one. I am so glad we found her!”

“Ryo was fantastic with our Beagle, Maple. He was incredibly patient and kind and made our dog feel right at home. We would love to work with him again in the future!”

“Missy was a life saver! I was on a trip home while my husband was working late when we got a call from the extended stay hotel about my pups that needed attention quickly. Daisy can be hard to handle during thunderstorms and with strangers, but Missy was able to calm her enough to get her to her house and keep her for the rest of my trip. This is quite the feat considering we'd only left the pups with Missy once before. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Heather is amazing! We went on a two week vacation and knowing our little bubby was having a great time and being well taken care of made it so much easier and removed the guilt of not being able to take him with us. Thanks so much Heather!”
“Beth took wonderful care of our dogs while we were out of town. She sent pictures daily and anecdotal notes to us. We knew they were in good care and didn’t have to worry one bit!! We will definitely contact her again if we need someone to watch them while we’re out of town! ❤️❤️❤️”

“Ziggy seemed to have a great time with Jeremy & Laura! It was only a short stay, but Ziggy seemed happy in the pictures I received from them. I’ll look to use them again in the future to dogsit!”

“Eliane was amazing!!! She made us feel so comfortable and provided regular updates with great photos. She took our dog on long walks and spent quality time with her throughout our trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to watch our dog!”

“Valerie took great care of my 2 golden boys. I get really anxious leaving them behind, but they seemed like they got tons of exercise (which is a feat for my 1.5 year old) and had lots of fun! Definitely will be using her for any future trips.”

About: Hi! My name is Emm! I am a queer and queer-friendly person and active in my community. I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I raised puppies, walked massive dobermans, and at one point took care of 13 dogs at once! Feeding, watering, cleaning up after, walking, and loving your pet like you would are my top priorities. I lived with my father after becoming an adult and took care of his cat. Animals of all kinds are fine by me! I'm available at any time! When I am not working, I spend my time with my partner, listen to music, and practice my culinary skills. If I stay at your home, I will respect your pets and your things like you're my family. Your pets will be pampered and well cared for. I'll take great care of them, and give them plenty of love and attention.
“Crystal was an amazing pet sitter!!!! Crystal’s home was very clean, she was professional and a very sweet family. The whole time she kept us updated with pics and videos. Communication is key and she understood that giving my anxiety about my fur baby being away from me for the first time. Very much treated my Ozzy like her own. Ozzy and her dog Tank were like cousins lol. I will definitely keep booking with Crystal! If I could give her 10 stars I would!!!! 🤩❤️”

“Tammy was a godsend. We discussed how we were going to handle buddy because the alternatives were way too expensive. She offered to board buddy, even though she was not listed for boarding on Rover. She changed her preference to be willing to board. My pup is not an easy one to get along with strangers. When I brought Buddy over there, he immediately took to Tammy and started to explore the house and then the fenced backyard. Tammy was so taken with buddy and he took right to her. She sent me cute photos of him during his stay. Because of her obvious bonding and care for buddy allowed me to enjoy my trip with no anxiety. If I ever have to board buddy again, I will certainly request Tammy if her schedule allows it. I would highly recommend her for caring for your pet.”
“Heather has been amazing! Absolute saving grace. She is so accommodating and flexible with everything I’ve ever asked (shots and multiple medications). She always sends pictures and updates even if my pups are just there for the day. She’s really great at learning dogs personalities and who will get along with who so she can keep all the dogs happy and safe! She really cares for every dog that stays with her like they are her own. My dogs leave so tired from the fun day they have at her house. The best sign is how much they love going back, they just run right into the house! That’s how you know they love it too! Book her!”

“Lisi was one of our best experiences. Her and her guy did great with our pup, nice clean place, and communicated well. Our dog came home and was himself, which has not always been the case.”

“They were absolutely amazing with my dog, Charlie. From the moment we dropped him off, they were kind, patient, and super understanding. You can tell they genuinely care about the dogs they watch. Charlie was comfortable with them and that gave me a lot of peace of mind. They kept me updated and were very attentive to his needs. I’m really grateful for how well they treated him and I would 100% trust them again. Highly recommend!”

“I felt so comfortable knowing that Megan was caring for my girls while we were on vacation! We even had some cute pics to enjoy showing that they were having a great time.”

“Ciara was wonderful! We had her cat-sit for us for a week. Prior to her sitting, she did an in-person visit with us, as well as a day before meet and greet with our cat, which we really appreciated! She checked in with us every day, while we were gone”

“Donai was exceptional! I knew when she came to meet Alice and Hank and she got on the floor to meet them, and asked for some treats to win them over, that she had already won over my approval. She gave me daily updates and daily pictures. It made me so happy on my trip to both see them, and also see that they were being well cared for and loved. Would definitely book Donai again!!”

“Billy is great! Our cat Ted absolutely loves him. He was timely with his visits and was great with communication. We will definitely be booking him again!”

“Mary was awesome! We have a diabetic cat who requires an insulin shot twice a day and she did a fantastic job. She was super communicative and clearly had an instant positive connection with our cat. We really hope to work with her again!”

About: I’ve always had animals in the house, multiple dogs at once. I have 2 dogs of my own to keep your pups entertained while you’re away! I have a fenced in yard to let your pup run wild! I am a dog trainer so if there are any problems behaviors (potty/crate training, barking, jumping, Etc.) we can begin to work on those while you’re away! I have a cat in the home, however she’s got a baby gated portion of the house to take a break from the doggy chaos! I currently have staggered schedule so your pup shouldn’t be alone for more than 4 to 6 hours at a time! There will be plenty of opportunities for potty breaks and play time! I believe dogs need physical and mental stimulation during a “stressful period” (aka, you’re on vacation!) and we have plenty of means to do just that!
“Debbie is absolutely wonderful!!! This is the second time we have had the privilege to utilize her while we stepped away a few days. We trust her and find ourselves enjoying our vacation time more since we know our babies are in good hands. She will be our forever go to person. ❤️”

“Ami was so kind and trustworthy, she took amazing care of my dog and I would highly recommend her to anyone anytime. She sent plenty of pics and videos - your dog couldn’t be in safer hands.”

“Absolutely some of the best caretaking Charlie has had! Lori was great with Charlie. We met beforehand with her sweet pup to make sure the dogs would get along, and I really appreciated her thoroughness and quick communication. During his stay, Charlie got to run around and play with other dogs at her home and her family’s farm, but also had time to rest and relax. He was such a happy boy when we picked him up and slept the whole way home! 10/10 would recommend Lori!!”

“Max is awesome. Kept me informed daily of Etta’s day. He clearly loves dogs!! He is gentle and kind to my baby. She liked him right away. He even wrote a poem about her!! Just loved everything about this experience 💕”

“Eliane was so great! Bumi seemed like he had lots of fun and was well cared for. She was great at communicating and letting me know details of Bumi's stay when I picked him up. Would definitely have her watch him again!”

“Kimba had a great time with Kaitlyn. She took great care of Kimba and sent pictures throughout the day. Kaitlyn is very responsive and makes me feel at ease. Kimba has a lot of separation anxiety and it was clear from the photos and when we picked her up that she’d had a great day. I know Kimba was in good hands with Kaitlyn. I’d use her again next time we are in town.”

“Jeremy was amazing! We were traveling through Louisville for the first time and he was able to watch our dogs while we attended the event. Super good with the dogs, gave them plenty of attention and exercise, and even gave us parking and food tips for the night. Couldn’t recommend more!”

“Very pleased with first doggy day care visit with Myrna. I was looking for a caring, loving dog lover for occasional day visits, eventually overnight stays for my little girl, a shitzhu. And have found it with Myrna. She kept me informed throughout the day with pictures, updates. I don’t trust my baby with just anyone. Myrna is on the short list! You can tell she truly has a love of dogs.”

About: I've, truly, never met a dog that didn't love me, and vice versa. My first dog, Patty, was a stray my big brother brought home, and he, my sister, and I, hid her upstairs, afraid our parents wouldn't let us keep her. She was quickly discovered as she escaped and ran wildly through the house with the three of us chasing her. She was our puppy, and that was the beginning of my love affair with animals. A known pet whisperer and rescuer, strangers would knock on our door when I was growing up, ask if I was home, then hand me a kitty or puppy in need, saying that they had heard I would take care of it. And I always did. I was blessed with compassionate, pet loving parents who knew the value that animals can add to a family, in helping children learn responsibility, patience and empathy, and to know what it feels like to have unconditional love. I carried that tradition on when rearing my own children on five, wooded acres in Oldham County. At one glorious point in time, we had rescued 5 dogs, 5 cats and added 2 baby pygmy goats to our menagerie. We even added a 6th dog, when actress Jennifer Lawrence's mom, Karen, needed to rehome her son's large Dalmation Boxer mix, when he moved to Chicago. Karen said she had pondered over the best home for the pooch, and thought, "If I was a dog, who would I want to live with? Greylyn! She's the best pet mama in the world!" It won me over immediately. All of our extended fur family were always happy, healthy and loved completely. The vet would come to our home, lining up 10 or more sets of shots on the kitchen table when it was vaccination time. We, also, initiated a rotating reward system that we refered to as"Dog of the Day", so that each pup could get extra special treatment on at least one day of the week. Although they all may have some similar characteristics, every dog has its own unique personality. I've dealt with every imaginable idiosyncrasie, and I celebrate the differences. I'm firm enough to help train them, fun enough to play and romp, and free enough to cuddle with them on furniture. HOME ALL DAY! I create from home, so I'm available to accommodate any special needs your pup may have. 'Going to Greylyn's', will be like going to visit 'Nana: the Dog', from 'Peter Pan'--a lot of fun and love and magic and attention. Except, I'm not a dog. And I promise not to let them fly off to Neverland... at least not on the first visit. SCENE: YOU and YOUR DOG at home. YOU: (on your device, searching, discovering, and, reading aloud: YOU: "COZY APARTMENT INSIDE A SERENE, ENCLOSED, COURTYARD/BEAUTIFUL PARK OUT THE FRONT DOOR/OTHER FUZZY FRIENDS TO PLAY WITH/BE SURE TO LET US KNOW IF YOUR DOG HAS A BIRTHDAY!

“Second time we'd left our dog with Kaitlin and as before it went great! We also last second adopted a second dog and Kaitlin was very understanding and great to work with, highly recommend!”

“Grace was great. Having one dog with health issues we were comforted with her professional experience. We had some major personal complications (including the one dog having to be put to sleep) and she was willing to work through the issues that came up. Grace was very understanding of the situation, and had then had to deal with a now anxious dog who just lost her partner and had to go alone to someone she didn't know. Grace made her feel at home. We were very satisfied with Grace and her pet accommodations. We would definitely use her again.”

“Lola had an amazing time with Melissa and her family! They sent lots of pictures and updates throughout her stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear Lola was treated like part of the family and received lots of love and attention. I would absolutely recommend Melissa to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter, and we would definitely book with them again!”
