Hi, I'm Brooke! I'm a recent UofL grad and love meeting new furry friends! I grew up with both cats and dogs, and began caring for neighbors’ pets at 10 years old. Since then, I’ve had years of experience with house sitting, daily walks, and drop-in visits for neighbors and family friends, often working through word of mouth and personal recommendations. I’ve worked as both a stay-in pet sitter and a weekly dog walker, and I love making sure animals feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. I have experience caring for puppies, kittens, high-energy animals, and senior pets with special needs, and am comfortable adapting to a wide range of temperaments and energy levels. What sets me apart is my reliability, communication, and attention to care when it comes to treating animals with the patience, love, and respect they need.🩷

I always try to meet with the family before sitting or dropping-in so that I understand how any pets are used to their home feeling. I will follow all instructions left by the owners, and try to keep a loving and clean environment for the animals. I also try to be very communicative with owners about any questions or concerns, and will gladly provide daily pictures/videos of animals to the owners. I also love playing with animals and making sure they get enough activity so they can get some fresh air and love! Additionally, I am a pre-medical student and have many hours of emergency experience with basic life support (BLS) and have taken a veterinary BLS course. I know how to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich maneuver on cats and dogs. I also have experience administering injected medication/subcutaneous fluids to cats and dogs. (I do not have experience administering care to additional animals at this time.) I also look up the closest veterinary ER prior to a stay, and am prepared to drive any animals in case of an emergency.

Brooke was excellent! She requested a meet and greet with my fur babies to get to know them and talk with me about any special needs in advance of when she was scheduled to come stay with them! She took notes about instructions for care. She went above and beyond to care for them and keep things clean for them. I received daily photos/videos along with a short paragraph of how the day went. This was so reassuring for me and put me at ease knowing she was so thoughtful and kind. I came home to a nice clean home, the sweetest update letter on the counter, and most importantly happy and healthy fur babies! I strongly recommend her for your pet care needs and I plan to reschedule with her the next time I’m away from home.
Brooke was so wonderful with our two dogs!!! It was such a relief to find someone to take care of both our dogs while all my family was out of town. She did great giving one dog medicine and with making food for a picky dog. Also our house was well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Brooke and I will be using her again.
Brooke was so lovely! We booked her for a 2-day cat sitting service in our home while we were away on our honeymoon. She was taking over for our MIL, so we weren’t there to meet her when she started, but Brooke did a meet and greet before our trip. She gave us plenty of updates, including photos, throughout her stay. The cats were clearly well taken care of and happy to have someone with them. Brooke cleaned up the guest room before leaving and left everything nice and tidy. Highly recommend!
Brooke was amazing. She came buy a few days before we needed her to meet the dogs. She arrived on time for sitting, the dogs loved her. She took great care of our house and our two dogs. She provided us updates and photos throughout the stay. We couldn't be happier with her!
Brooke was fantastic! She stayed with our 2 dogs and 2 cats for 5 days/5 nights. Her communication was impeccable. She provided multiple updates and pictures daily. We have a very rambunctious German Shorthaired Pointer, and Brooke was so very patient with him. She is also a cat whisper as she convinced our extremely shy kitty to come out of his normal hiding place. She went above and beyond to brush our dogs’ teeth, walk our crazy pups, and even put our recycling cans out for pickup. Brooke gave our fur kids lots of attention and left the house tidy. I would highly recommend Brooke for any pet sitting needs!
Brooke was great! She updated me all during my trip and sent pics every day! The pips were well taken care of and she even went above and beyond so I came home to a clean house. We will definitely reach out to Brooke again if needed!

I am currently on my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, and I will be working or volunteering in the clinic from 8-5 M-F. However, I am available 24/7 on weekends if your fur family will need constant care. Feel free to reach out to me, and we can figure out a schedule that works for you and your pets!

- Let me know ahead of time if your pet has any medical or special needs so I can research and prepare myself to take care of them! Additionally, please let me know if your pet is very large or strong and likes to pull on walks or be aggressive. I like to think I'm reasonably strong, but I would prefer being prepared so that I don't get hurt while walking or playing with your pet!
