My home is clean, safe, and fully pet-proofed. I have a secure environment and am vigilant about preventing escapes or accidents. To help them feel right at home, dogs are absolutely allowed on the furniture—couches and beds are welcome here! (Just let me know your rules at home so I can stay consistent).

About: I've had dogs my whole life and have always loved being around animals. Although I am just starting out here on Rover, I have pet sat many times for friends, family, and local families in both my home and their homes. My experience includes feeding, walking, playtime, overnight care, and making sure pets stay comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I’m a UF college student home for the summer with a completely open and flexible schedule! I'm retired and mostly home, so I'm flexible - your pet can get walks, feeds, or playtime whenever you need. I'm here most days, so no rushed schedules or surprises - your dog gets steady attention. Mornings are good for walks or breakfast, afternoons for play or rest, evenings for quiet time. Late drop-off? Early pickup? No problem. I'm not leaving. About: A dog lover for as long as I can remember, I currently own one young pup after recently losing my two senior girls. I know how daunting it can be to imagine leaving your beloved animal with anyone other than you. The anxiety and stress that comes with making sure your dog is safe and cared for while you’re not able to is no joke, and I take the honor very seriously. I volunteered at the humane society as a canine coach for over 5 years and assisted with dogs of all breeds, sizes, temperament, and need. I am experienced in senior dogs, and giving medication if needed. My oldest girl was a diabetic and I adhered strictly to her schedule and dosages. I will respect all of the directions and wishes of care for your furry friend as if they were my own. Dogs know dog people, and dogs are my people! I am an entrepreneur at heart. I own 2 small businesses, one of which is my sourdough bakery I run out of my home, but I am single with no children and big goals so I thought I’d merge my love of animals with the possibility to make some extra money. I work mostly from home, with only my regular weekly dog walks which don’t last longer than 3 hours so I am always able to get home every few hours. I am a true homebody and enjoy spending my free time relaxing at home with my dogs. If I am watching the animals in my home, I have several areas in my home that can be separated if need be. My puppy is put in a gated area whenever I am not home. Depending on the care instructions for your pet, I have various crates, gated areas, or if they are able to be out free while I’m away they will be (as long as everyone gets along and they aren’t damaging my property). I have a small fenced yard for quick potty breaks and a quiet safe neighborhood we walk daily. If your animal is staying in your home, I will follow the directions specific to care in your home as you tell me.

I also work full time from home Monday - Friday which means I am able to be present with your pet throughout the day, provide consistent attention and maintain a steady routine - something I know is especially important for dogs when they are in a new environment. I also have experience caring for a diabetic dog including administering insulin injections so I am comfortable supporting pets that may need extra attention or medical care. I treat every dog like my own - with love and snuggles and lots of care - and focus on creating a safe, loving and stress free environment while keeping you updated so you always have peace of mind. About: I've taken care of all types of dogs throughout my life, personally owning a large Newfoundland and an Australian Cattle dog, so I have experience dealing with extremely high and low energy breeds. Im a life long animal lover who is currently pursuing my undergraduate in Animal Sciences with a focus on pre veterinarian medicine. In the past Ive dealt more with larger zoo animals like wolves and lynx's but Im always a sucker for some cute dogs. Im currently working mid week, Im available for boarding at any time however during M,T,Th,F bathroom breaks will be limited to 4-8 hours. During weekends and Wednesdays Ill be available to give your furry friends all the attention they need throughout the day. I live in a condo with no designated yard however there is an unfenced yard available for use and dogs will be taken on frequent walks, at least 2 times a day but this varies on your dogs needs. Im open to all dog sitting styles so if you like your dog crated at night or left to roam around just let me know. If your dog has specific preferences or needs please just specify before dropping them off.
