Your dog will be part of our family
We specialize in small to medium dogs (under 40 lbs) only! I am a stay-at-home mom and homeschool my kids. We are home most of the day, leaving for short periods for homeschool group activities or church activities. Our family started dog-sitting after our last dog passed away in 2024, so my children really love having the dogs around and are always helping me take care of them. We take the dogs on a walk daily (except when raining). I care for dogs from multiple families at the same time, so we can only keep dogs that are very friendly with other dogs. This allows me to be available for you whenever you need me, especially on last minute occasions or for those who travel frequently for work. I know how important it is for you as a dog owner to have a reliable go-to sitter to take your pet so you can travel with peace of mind that your dog is in a familiar place, comfortable, and safe. I got my first dog Dakota, a German Shepherd, for my 5th birthday and have been taking care of animals ever since. When your pet stays with us they will be a part of our family and treated like they are our own pet.

Katelyn and her family were so sweet! They took such great care of Wolter. He made himself right at home. Laying around the house, playing with the kids, lounging on the beanbag chair and sleeping on her husbands chest. She kept me updated with daily pics and messages, kept him inside during the hot days but let him get in his walks at night. With my son now living in Naples and me from MN we will for sure be coming back to Wolters new "summer home"

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard has a small fenced area just for the dogs to go potty, made for small/medium dogs. For this reason we will not be watching large dogs at all. Dogs will be supervised at all times while outside in the fenced potty area. I will keep the dogs in a crate/kennel/separated at night time and whenever we leave the house, for their safety. When your pup stays with us I will provide daily updates and photos so you can rest assured that your pet is doing well and enjoying their time here. I typically have 3-4 dogs here at any given time, either from the same family or from different families- for this reason I can only take dogs that are VERY friendly with other dogs. This number would include your dog(s) if you were to book their stay with me. ****NOTE - I have a few regular clients who frequently travel for work and sometimes need to book on short notice, so at times I will have more than 3 dogs for this reason. Additionally on major holidays I tend to get lots of requests so I may have more during those times as well. I know how important it is when you find a place your dog is comfortable staying to be able to depend on them being able to go back there. Therefore I really try my best to accommodate my clients needs for booking as needed, because let’s face it, we love your dog too! I can offer sitter pick up/drop off within a 10 mile radius of my home for a fee of $15 per trip, so if you need both pick up and drop off, it would be $30 total. A typical day
My kids love dogs so your pets will get lots of attention and affection while they stay with us. They may come home tired from all the excitement! The dogs always have access to water but will be fed and sleep separately, unless they come from the same home and like to sleep together. They have access to have potty breaks as needed. Daily walks provided if your pet is leash trained.

- Please let me know of any special circumstances your pet may have. Please feel free to bring their bed/blankets, toys, and any other items that make them feel comfortable. Please also bring enough food and treats for the duration of their stay. If the dog has any special care needs, please bring all of your own supplies (e.g. diapers, skin care items, baby wipes, special food/treat for taking pills, etc) I prefer not to have dogs while they are in heat, but we all know these things cannot totally be predicted so if your dog is in heat and is good about keeping diapers on, then I can take them. We have had unspayed females for years so I have experience with their needs. We do not use harmful chemicals or fragrances in our home so your pet will not be exposed to any toxic substances if they are sensitive.
