🐾 Rover is my full time job 🐾 Now specializing in small to medium dogs (under 40 lbs.) only. I am a stay at home mom and homeschool my kids. I got my first dog Dakota, a German Shepherd, for my 5th birthday and have been taking care of animals ever since. We have had puppies all the way to elderly dogs. I have two small children, ages 5 and 9 who love dogs as well. We had dogs of our own, but the last one passed away in 2024 and that's when we started doing Rover, after being customers previously ourselves. ***IMPORTANT*** Our children LOVE dogs, and we welcome your pets who are comfortable and friendly around young kids. All dogs we care for must be VERY friendly with other dogs as we keep dogs from different families at the same time. If your dog loves to be around other dogs, they will love it here! When your pet stays with us they will be a part of our family and treated like they are our own pet.

Katelyn was a life saving this past month as I was trying a lot for work last minute and she was always willing to watch my Remi. I had no doubt that Remi was safe and happy. Every photo he was comfy or cuddled up with one of her children. Even seemed like he didn’t want to leave when I picked him up. High recommend!

This was our first time using Rover and we forgot to give Katelyn a few key instructions about our beagles and forgot to give her pee pads that our senior dogs need! She was very gracious with us, and our dogs. She kept us up to date every single day. It was a good experience overall, although I’m not sure what she would say, as she was the one having to take care of our senior beagles! Haha!
Katelyn and her family have always done a fantastic job caring for our Alfred. He loves hanging out there. It's like his own vacation from home. Thank you for all yall do.

Schedule
*Please note for drop off/pick up times* We are NOT available for drop off/pick up on Sundays from 9am-1pm. However, before and after these time frames are available. All other days our schedule is very flexible. ***When requesting booking please note our pick up and drop off hours are between 7am-8pm.

Safety, trust & environment
Our yard has a small fenced area just for the dogs to go potty, made for small/medium dogs. For this reason we will not be watching large dogs at all. Dogs will be supervised at all times while outside in the fenced potty area. I will keep the dogs in a crate/kennel/separated at night time and whenever we leave the house, for their safety. We have a couple days a week my children have a special lesson we go to (leaving for a couple hours) and we attend church on Sunday mornings and sometimes at other times during the week. When your pup stays with us I will provide daily updates and photos so you can rest assured that your pet is doing well and enjoying their time here. I typically have 3-4 dogs here at any given time, either from the same family or from different families- for this reason I can only take dogs that are VERY friendly with other dogs. This number would include your dog(s) if you were to book their stay with me. ****NOTE - I have a few regular clients who frequently travel for work and sometimes need to book on short notice, so at times I will have more than 3 dogs for this reason. Additionally on major holidays I tend to get lots of requests so I may have more during those times as well. I know how important it is when you find a place your dog is comfortable staying to be able to depend on them being able to go back there. Therefore I really try my best to accommodate my clients needs for booking as needed, because let’s face it, we love your dog too! I can offer sitter pick up/drop off within a 10 mile radius of my home for a fee of $15 per trip, so if you need both pick up and drop off, it would be $30 total. A typical day
My kids love dogs so your pets will get lots of attention and affection while they stay with us. They will usually come home tired from all the excitement! The dogs always have access to water but will be fed and sleep separately, unless they come from the same home and like to sleep together. They have access to have potty breaks as needed. Daily walks can be provided if your pet is leash trained.
