“Magdalana took amazing care of my Chance! She was super responsive and helpful with accommodating my schedule. She is a great help if you are in town for a conference and need a hand with your pup! Chance loves her and would love to have her walk him again when we come back to Louisville!”
2. Kathryn S.
“Kathryn has been here every day this week to walk my baby girl Chanel. She absolutely loves going on walks with her & even waits by the door for her until she gets here. She has been phenomenal with my baby! Thank you again Kathryn. You’re so appreciated!”
3. Patrick B.
“Patrick is my son. I'm sure I'm a little bias but he is wonderful with animals, specifically dogs. He grew up with all kinds of dogs and currently own his own dog Gilly, a King charles. She is around 12 years old and was adopted from a shelter. She is very attached to Patrick and he cares for her, specifically leaving work during his lunch to take her for a walk. Anyway, we bred yorkies when he was small, then we had 2 large mixed breds from the shelter. Patrick is no longer living with us, but I trust him to care for our husky if needed. He is very dependable and has never been let go from a job. He rarely calls in and accepts all challenges with respect and performs tasks as requested. He is very easy to get along with and doesn't anger easily. He is accountable and independent. He is my middle child.”
4. Sam H.
“Sam is just an amazing person and she takes great care of my dog Bucky, when she walks him...he can be a challenge but she is so sweet and patient with him, and he loves her to bits. He gets so excited when she comes, and not only does she do a great job on the walks with him, but she goes the extra mile in other ways and is a kind and caring lady that just brings a bit of sunshine in when she comes. I do recommend her, she is wonderful.”
5. Alyson H.

6. Suzann Z.
“Walked my dog last minute without meeting him/me first. Did exactly what I asked and took him to the local park for an hour during my work day. Would recommend!”
7. Mae M.
About: I took care of my 3 dogs for 10 years from when they were born and until they passed away. When I would train them I mainly focused on using positive reinforcement to let them know what is and isn't good for them. I'm currently a student and love to take walks around the parks ( a perfect place for a dog!) I also love to explore and be very active. When I took care of my dogs I made sure to always be in the same room as them so I can keep an eye on them to make sure they aren't getting into things that are dangerous for them
8. Dylan J.
“We love Dylan! He was always on time, very communicative, and professional. Dylan quickly became our dog’s favorite person - she was always so excited to see him. We were very comfortable with Dylan doing solo or small group walks with our dog. We endorse him fully!”
9. Saren C.
“Saren has been a periodic caregiver for my dog, Luthien, since I adopted her over 2 years ago. Luthien is very nervous around new people and just nervous in general. Saren is very kind and gentle and has genuinely become one of Luthien's favorite people. Saren is the first person I contact if I am going to be out of town and need someone to care for Luthien. Highly recommend her!”
10. Erin K.
“Erin has an incredible knack with with animals! When she took home two shy, fearful shelter cats who the shelter employees said would likely remain scared and timid, she was patient and worked with them consistently; now they are active and attractive boys who love their home and their human. Erin also adopted an older pup whose weight issues were impacting his health, and now he's a spry old man who loves going on walks and has energy to spare. She would be an excellent support to anyone looking for a calm and patient hand with their pets.”

About: Though I have offered pet sitting services to friends and family off-and-on for 20 years, I myself have been a devoted pet parent and understand the importance of genuine care and attention to detail to help your four-legged family member feel happy and at ease. Having had dogs (and cats) my entire adult life, I am very experienced in the care of young, energetic pups, as well as senior dogs in need of a little extra time and a gentle touch. I loved my own senior dogs through cancer, vision and hearing loss, and limited mobility and feel completely comfortable with dogs of any age, breed, or physical ability. After spending years as a journalist and professor of English, I'm taking a step back from the hustle-and-bustle to focus on my own health and wellness. As someone who currently works only at home, and on my own schedule, spending a little time with your sweet pup will not only *not* be an inconvenience in my day, it will be one of the highlights of it. At middle age I've realized animals are one of my greatest joys, and that's why I've chosen to offer dog walking services. Since college my friends have called me "Safety Susan," because I have always been hyper aware of the safety of everyone around me, and that will now extend to your pets. I will take utmost care during dog walks, which includes not being distracted by my phone. I am happy to walk at a pace appropriate for your pup, be that painfully slow or athletically fast, and I will never ever jerk their necks or drag them by their lead. With my own dogs I have used a "herding" technique with my body at times when I need them to move on from one spot or to keep them on a particular route.
12. Rebecca R.
“Rebecca is an amazing dog owner. She has had two dogs since we were little, Marley and Tobey. Her and I often go on walks with both her dogs and my dogs. If you go to her instagram or Snapchat, you will see so many dog photos. While she has been away at school, she always texts me that she is most excited to come home to see her puppies. You will not regret having Rebecca take care of your dogs, I swear she loves dogs more than people.”
13. Jen J.
“Jen is wonderful! My puppy loves her and she always came back from the walks loved and tired. Would definitely entrust my dogs care to her again!”
14. Elliana V.
“Elliana is the most kind and responsible person I know. She is the only person I trust with my dogs, because they are my life.”
15. Nataliya G.
“As Nataliya’s mother, I have seen Nataliya her pets throughout her childhood and as an adult. She has always been and is very responsible in caring for her pets and takes great pleasure in making sure her pets: cats, rabbits, and dogs, are well fed, clean, happy, healthy, comfortable and safe. She even helped heal a chicken whose toes on one foot were broken. She named her Clucky and Clucky would come to her when Nataliya called her. She taught her cat and Clucky to be friends and to get along! Nataliya loves walking dogs and has done this many times for friends and clients who often commented that since Nataliya started walking and caring for their dogs, they became healthier and happier. Dogs and cats love her. Chickens too! She has that ability to connect with them and understand them and they connect with her and love her. For example, I was amazed to see how her own cat, GiGi, knew the sound of Nataliya’s car and would run to the door to welcome her home after work. Nataliya definitely loves animals and they love her!”
16. Brandon B.
“We just met Brandon, and right away I was impressed by his attention to details, his making sure he had all the information needed to walk my Dog Bucky, making sure all my concerns were covered, and he did a great job walking and caring for him, and Bucky just loved him. The second time he came, Bucky was beside himself with excitement and while he does really like his walks, I can tell when his dancing and jumping around is for someone he really likes. Brandon did a fantastic job and we definitely will be asking for more walks with him for Bucky !”
17. Makylie P.
“She did great with Ed”
18. Sarah F.
“Sarah is a very attentive animal lover. She cares for the dogs and cats as if they were her children. She is dependable, on time and will give your pet the best attention you can ask for that isn't your own. She is personable and just a really solid person.”
19. Ciara W.
“Sarah has been with our Perry every day for 3 months now and we do not know what we would do without her. She goes above and beyond for him! You can really tell how much she loves dogs and how Perry has become special to her. She is extremely reliable, consistent, communicative. I wouldn’t trust anyone else for Perry’s daily walks and I’m so glad we found her!”
20. Libby G.
“Thank you so much! Libby is such an amazing pet sitter and treats Addy with kindness. Has been responsive, professional and incredibly helpful.”
