My day job is by contract, so my schedule is often flexible. I have an Australian Cattle Dog-mix-tripod-angel baby- named Scarlet and her worker dog genes keep me active, so I am intimately acquainted with the necessity of regular activity and bathroom breaks.

I have a fenced in backyard as well as a gated basement to help keep the animals in safe areas. My dog is very friendly and curious, so I would make sure all parties feel safe before accepting in-my-home stays. Services outside my home are catered to the client's comfort level.

Walks are a must, while concentrated play time on rainy days is also an option. If your animal likes a run, let me know. A typical day for my dog is a walk with a little treat at the end if she did well on the leash. She's a herding breed, so we learning constantly.

I've owned dogs (and cats!) for 15+ years and have experience with many different types; hunting dogs, small house dogs, massive house dogs, and much in between. I am a responsible caretaker and give the utmost care to each animal I'm asked to watch over. I once adopted a kitten that was handed to me by a stranger, while on a run. I've house sat with a 175 great dane and been the lucky caregiver of a sweet geriatric prince named Chicago, who had more kitty tummy problems than your ex with IBS.

I have an old and sensitive GSD that I am normally very protective over; I had to leave her for a week and the whole time I felt my dog was completely safe and attended to in Kathryn's hands. She provided meaningful updates and expressed genuine affection, support, and care for my animal. I would definitely have her care for my dog again.
Katie has watched our pets on numerous occasions and went above and beyond for us. She has a great attention to detail, does what she says she will do and she treats our animals as her own. I always feel safe knowing she is the person that will be caring or walking our animals. It is a lovely peace of mind when we are traveling and stressed or busy. I never have to worry when she is my pet sitter/walker. Highly recommend her to care for your animals.
