About: What sets me apart is my lifelong experience caring for dogs with a wide range of needs. I currently care for three dogs of my own, including a senior dog who requires extra patience, attention, and gentle care. I also cared for my previous dog throughout his battle with epilepsy. Administering his medication on schedule and staying with him during and after his seizures taught me how important it is to remain calm, attentive, and compassionate during stressful situations. Because of these experiences, I'm comfortable caring for senior pets, administering oral medications, and providing extra attention to animals with special needs. In my client's home, I make it a priority to keep your pet's routine as consistent as possible by following feeding schedules, providing fresh water, going on walks or playing as needed, cleaning up after them, and giving them plenty of attention and affection. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets. About: My Roomate and I have been working with dogs our whole lives. We both work full time at doggy daycares as managers. I also have experienced in working with farm animals as well. We want to eventually open our own doggy daycare and thought that this was the best way to get started. We have experience in bathing, nail trimming, administration of medication and supervising large play groups between 5 to 60 dogs by ourselves. Including dogs of all sizes and temperaments. We have 2 dogs and a cat of our own. We take pride in providing a sweet loving environment for every dog and making sure every dog receives the needs personalized to them. We would love to meet your fur babies and give them a fun time to enjoy their vacation just as much as you enjoy yours. We look forward to hearing from all of you. We are available for drop ins, walks and overnight boarding in our home from Friday nights to Tuesday mornings. During the time that your pet is with us we will be home with them 95% of the time to make sure they get the love and attention that they deserve. About: Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, including a Black Lab, Miniature Pinscher, Rottweiler, and German Shepherd. Being around such different breeds has taught me that every dog has their own personality, energy level, quirks, and way of showing you what they need. I also have hands-on experience caring for dogs in my family. I regularly help care for my sister’s two dogs—a 1-year-old Corgi and a 13-year-old English Bulldog. Having both a young, energetic dog and a senior dog has given me an appreciation for how different their needs can be. One may want to play, explore, and keep you moving, while the other may need a slower pace, extra patience, comfort, and a little more attention. I also frequently care for a French Bulldog in my family when his dad needs someone he trusts to look after him. I also have experience caring for Ozzie, my mom’s boyfriend’s 7-year-old Whoodle. About: I’ve taken care of all sized dogs since I can remember. Friends and family usually have relied on me to walk, feed, and love their pets. A typical day/overnight consists of a lot of attention/play time, outside walks and potty breaks, and making sure meals are eaten. I have a very open schedule and flexible schedule. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
