About: Hi! I'm Lydia. I'm a former zookeeper and animal trainer living in Panama City, FL. I have always loved animals and I've had pets my whole life. I currently have a cat and a parrot. I've cared for lots of different types of animals, from fur to feathers and beyond, so if you have other pets that need care while you're away, I'm your girl! I'm also comfortable caring for dogs that need medication or have special needs, blind, deaf, etc. I’m not able to provide boarding but I'm happy to stay with your pet in your home. I promise I will take great care of your fur babies while you're away. Lots of love is guaranteed! I’m currently between jobs so my schedule is flexible. If and when that changes, my updated availability will be reflected in the app. Thank you for understanding. Establishing trust between myself, the dog, and the owner is critical, which is why I require a meet and greet before accepting any new clients. I am flexible and once I commit your good as gold, I do work also as a realtor which allows me to manage my own schedule. I am very cautious when caring for any animal making sure they are safe and well loved. About: My undergraduate studies in Animal Cognition first brought me to Florida six years ago. I instantly fell in love with the sand, sun, and ability to truly live an outdoor lifestyle. And, it only gets better now that I get to share all these beautiful things with my rescued GSP pup! I have dedicated my professional career to studying the behavior of animals, whether it's marine mammals, horses, or our beloved canine companions. I have recently found myself returning to my passion for dog training and personalizing everyday routines to best suit my clients. Just like many of us paw parents, our pets equally benefit from consistency and familiar support. Taking this extra step to understand your pet's day-to-day routine and specific needs is how I plan to ease you both while you enjoy your time away. Just like you would if you were home 😉 PLEASE NOTE: *A scheduled MEET & GREET with your pet(s) will be REQUIRED prior to finalizing any services. *I have a FULL-TIME job and cannot guarantee midday potty breaks for most bookings. *I currently DO NOT offer boarding or daycare services. I am currently employed FULL-TIME during the weekdays. I am most available to help in the early mornings, evenings, and for overnight stays. Depending on the location of your residence, midday potty breaks may be feasible. I can always provide personal recommendations for daytime sitters/walkers upon request! I DO NOT offer boarding in my home at this time! My rescue pup is focusing on building his confidence, but continues to make friends everywhere we go. I hope to offer in-house boarding services soon. When applicable, vaccination records and references will be required upon booking.

About: Growing up, I always had animals in the home and I have always loved caring for them. I currently have two cats of my own and I also have a family dog and cat. I also worked in a vet clinic for about a year treating animals with the highest quality of care. I am currently a veterinary technology major and I am only taking 10 credit hours, so that leaves me plenty of time to care for your fur babies! I live in a cozy 3 bedroom home, with a large back yard that is completely fenced in with tall privacy fencing, perfect for playtime and fresh air. My family—an animal-loving husband, my playful 10-year-old son, and my adoring 5-year-old—are all eager to welcome your pet into our home. Our German Shepherd, Ava, loves making new dog friends, while our cuddly cats, Jocko and Trunks, are gentle and sweet. I can also crate your dog if needed to meet their preferences or your instructions.
