“Melissa did a great job with my dog, Sally. She sent updates and pictures often. Sally seemed to really enjoy having her around. I will definitely use her again.”

About: My childhood dog, B.B., a fiercely loyal Jack Russell terrier, taught me how strong the bond between animals and humans can be. My family adopted B.B. when I was four years old. He was the same age, although a bit older in dog years, and we grew up together exploring the woods around our Mississippi home. As a Jack Russell, he was a small dog--only about 15 pounds--but he was scrappy, incredibly smart, and I knew he would protect me against anything we encountered on our adventures. He always did, and we looked after each other until he passed away at nearly 20 years old. The first pet I cared for besides B.B. was a Weimaraner belonging to my neighbor that I began dog sitting at the age of nine until I was a teenager. Since I first began dog sitting over 15 years ago, I have cared for all creatures great and small from pet rats to dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, and even horses for extended stays. I've cared for pets of all ages, ranging from puppies to seniors, including complex care requiring medicine to be given multiple times a day. One of my own cats, Sabbath, has feline lower urinary tract disease and requires two oral medicines which I give to him daily. As an experienced cat owner and sitter, I am not afraid to work with cats with all their claws or antisocial personalities and find that, through time and building trust, even the most stubborn personalities will open up to me. My childhood adventures with B.B. instilled in me a lifelong passion for staying active and exploring nature through hiking. To this day I am an avid hiker, and I believe that B.B.'s active lifestyle is one of the factors that allowed him to live such a long, healthy life. Now I take on these adventures with my toy Australian shepherd, Andy, and specialize in exercising and socializing dogs on group hikes. I have experience hiking dogs as a pack of two or more up to eight dogs at one time (including multiple dogs over 100 pounds at one time). These pack hikes have proven to be physically, mentally, and socially enriching for my doggy clients, especially recurrent pack hikers, who seem to experience an uptick in physical stamina and overall happiness almost immediately. They adore the new sights, new SMELLS, and playtime with other dogs in the pack. Since I just moved to the Clarksville area, I am looking to establish my clientele here, so I will be offering 30% off your first five walks/hikes to ensure you and your pup are more than happy before continuing your service. (Regular price is $20 per 30-minute walk/hike session, now lowered to $14 per 30-minute session. Regular price is $35 per one hour walk/hike session, now lowered to $24.00 per one hour session.) Puppies and adult dogs of all sizes are priced the same. I just moved to Clarksville and am looking to start and grow my clientele here, so my availability is wide open. I am currently available any day of the week for dog walking/hiking or pet sitting until slots begin to fill up. For walks and hikes, I always bring plenty of water for myself and the dogs along with other necessities including waste bags, a first-aid kit, and, if needed, paw protection. When caring for pets in their own homes, I work with pet parents to try to keep their pets' routines as consistent as possible, adding in walks and playtimes as needed, to ensure they are just as comfortable as when their parents are home. I have two cats and a dog of my own, so I do not typically offer care in my home.
“Brandy was phenomenal! She sent multiple updates every day along with pictures of our boys while we were gone. She took such great care of our dogs and our home. We will definitely use her again in the future. She is very professional and amazingly sweet. I could tell our boys were happy to have her here while we were away.”

About: I grew up on a 250-acre dairy farm and was the primary caretaker of house cats, barn cats, and our dog. Now I'm a mother of 6 kids and enjoy caring for our dog and two cats! I care for my dog and two cats every day, including feeding them, grooming them, and walking the dog. I've also, on occasion, given my collie her summer haircut. I've only pet sat in others' homes, and this has included feeding, letting outside for potty, walking, litter clean-up, administering meds, cleaning up happy accidents, and giving them snuggle time.
“Cassania did a wonderful job looking after our pets in our home! As an anxious pet owner, I was reassured by how quickly they warmed up to her, and how attentive she was to their needs and routines. She kept us updated with texts and photos, and we look forward to booking with her in the future!”

“Mikayla made me feel so much less stressed out about leaving my pup with her with her constant updates and communication. The fact that he became instant best friends with her made it so much better. I plan to hopefully use her anytime that I need a sitter.”
“Ariana was AMAZING! Our sitter canceled on us with less than a months notice. We were very nervous but she was super kind and communicative! Our dogs lived her and we will definitely use her again!”

“Aaron was fantastic! Great at communicating while we were out of town. Kept us informed on when he’d be dropping by. Our dog was a bit hesitant at first and Aaron handled the situation extremely well! By the second visit our dog had a new bff. Highly recommend!”

Caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy, so it never feels like a chore—it’s a regular, happy part of my life. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and consistent environment that helps every pet feel secure and relaxed. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including their feeding schedule, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care instructions you provide. “Andrea did an amazing job watching our pups for five nights! I would highly recommend her to anyway in need of a dog sitter! She gave us updates and sent us pictures! 10/10 for sure!!! Thank you so much, Andrea!”

“Ella came and met Xena & we knew instantly that she was going to be a great fit for us AND Xena! Within minutes, Xena was rolled over, belly up letting Ella love on her. We received daily updates with pictures and honestly felt so comfortable and relieved to have someone like Ella to watch our dog. Everything was just how it was when we left, with Xena happy as can be. :) We will definitely be using this young lady again - we cannot thank her enough for our peace of mind while away.”

About: I’ve taken care of my neighbors pets and my own since I was very young. I have 5 dogs back home which are a handful but you can never have too many animals ! I currently work full time in the Army, but I don’t do much on the weekends nor after work besides going to the gym. I have no children, just me and my wife and I’m looking forward to accommodating to anyone in need ! Side note: I get off typically at 3pm on Fridays so I’m available after that, any long weekends I have off will also be updated on my schedule ! In my clients home I know that the safety and well being of their pets are the number one priority so I intend to follow whichever schedule they may already have.
About: I have been raised with every animal imaginable. My family loves to volunteer and rescue in our spare time from senior dogs to new born, from squirrels to ducks and so much more. I honestly can't remember not having an animal to love. I'm currently in school and spend most of the time online for it so all my free time is spent on spending loving time with your furry babies. There is a very active dobberman who believes all of our free time belongs to him and a little old Yorkie who craves everyone's affection
About: I have watched many different pets for different families and am willing to help take care by feeding, bathing, taking on walks, going to vet trips if needed. I work part time and go to college but won’t leave a pet alone for very long. I typically spend the night and as much if the day with the pets when sitting. I am good using my car to transport pets if necessary and plan on staying at the house i’m sitting for so pets feel comfortable being home
About: I have always enjoyed animals but never really had any on my own, I decided to get my children a dog but realized having them full time does not work out for my family, I spend a lot of time at the shelters with the cats and dogs because I enjoy them so much. I am currently in school and have a lot of free time. Majority of my time is free now that I am not working and I would love to spend it with animals. I have a large front and back yard, a nice size home as well so that dogs can run and be free. I am able to accommodate anyone.
About: I was born in a dog home. I've taken care of dogs ever since I was ten. I've dog sat for neighbors and they have paid me for it. That included walking, feeding, overnight stays at my place and their place. I'm currently unemployed but am looking for a job, but my dog, and the client's dog will ALWAYS come first. I'm available when you need me. Whether it's overnights in the pet's home (see boarding section of profile)*, walking, day sitting, or check-ins of any kind. *= my parents doesn't want me boarding pets at the house so im using the boarding section to provide overnight stays at the pet's home. I dont have a fenced in yard, a dog that takes a min to get acclimated to other dogs. All dogs are my children. And will treat them as such. Working full time at the Nashville West Target while living at KOA Nashville. Will be able to provide services to fellow residents while they’re here. Let the run around the dog park or Kamp K9 till they’re exhausted. That way they’ll be way too tired to chew up random items.
