About: I've been taking care of dogs for ten+ years now, since it was a part of my duties as a home healthcare aide for an elderly disabled man who had trouble walking. I'm currently between jobs, so I have plenty of time to contribute to your companion's pet care, their daily walks and other needs and such. I am near a heavily wooded area, so there is plenty of space for them to walk around in, and do any of their business, and get some exercise.

“Morgan was amazing! We have (3) dogs. One elderly and another has anxiety. She was on time and handled all three, gave updates and Photos. She walked them on a variety of routes, and left notes after each visit.”

About: I have been around dogs all my life, mostly big mutts, and actively caring for the family dog since the age of 10. I trained my parents last 2 labradors (always a fun breed). I have elderly dog experience both with a big malamute/shepherd mix and a diaper wearing rat terrier. So I am used to the individualized care that different dogs need. On the fun side of things, long walks, fetch and tug o war are my specialities! I can groom, bathe, give medications, play, walk, run, snuggle, scratch and provide whatever care you prescribe for your favorite family member! I currently work from home with a flexible schedule so I can run on your schedule. If dog sitting, I only need an couple hours in the afternoon to walk my parents dog. If your pup enjoys other dogs and you are comfortable with it they can come along too. My own 3 year old dog is walked at least 4 times a day. He is a lab so he enjoys long walks and trips to the beach, bay, hiking trails, and dog park. I make sure he gets tug of war time and he loves my cats laser pointer. We keep him supplied with dry food at all times because he does not overeat. He gets wet food once a week and an ample supply of people food whenever anyone is in the kitchen. But this is just how my family cares for our pups. I will strive to interrupt your dog's normal routine as little as possible.

About: I am willing to pop in and out throughout the morning and afternoons/nights to let your dog out and take them on a long (or short) walk. I can accompany any normal routines your dog needs such as playing fetch, running around, or bath time. As a loving dog owner, I enjoy spending time playing and relaxing with dogs giving them all of the attention and love they deserve. In addition, I can work on any skills the dog may need such as learning to sit at corners on walks or simple commands such as lay down, sit, and paw. Any and all reasonable requests by the dog owner can be met to ensure your dog gets the care he or she needs. I am available weekdays and weekends. Availability for weekends can be accommodated with 2-3 days notice. Otherwise, full availability Friday-Mondays with 0-1 day notice. Please reach out with any questions! I am very dependable and active. I grew up with a dog and have a great understanding their activity needs. Please reach out with any requests!

About: I am just starting this journey as a dog walker, sitter. Now that I am a retired teacher I can give my time to helping care for other’s pets. I grew up with my one and only Keeshound Pepper. After she passed I never got another dog; however, I love my friend’s and family’s dogs. I also have a beautiful grand dog named Harper. When we had our kids we were never home because all three of them played several travel sports. I never thought it was fair to have a dog. Now that my kids are grown, I feel like I can enjoy helping take care of other people’s pets. Starting mid June I will be down the shore for most of the summer. I would be available most weekdays and some weekends. I also would like to do this to motivate me to get out and exercise more while enjoying time with your pets. I just retired from being a special education teacher after 28 years. I am a very responsible, trustworthy person and I would care for your pets like they are my own.

Katee E.Star Sitter

“Katee was on time and Carrot was well cared for.”

Bridget G.

“So awesome. Great with our pets. Great communication”

Christy I.
“I am delighted to endorse Christy Iredell as a Rover walker. I have known Christy for several years through our volunteer work at a local rescue organization. We have volunteered on the Champion Team (working with long stay dogs who have behavioral issues), taken rescue dogs on hikes as part of DogVentures, attended training sessions and worked together on introducing dogs to their potential adopters. These are just some of the activities through which I have had the opportunity to observe Christy's interactions with dogs. Her years of experience working with challenging dogs make her equipped to handle most Rover assignments. She is a careful observer of dog's behavior during walks, is patient, calm and always kind. She is responsible and an excellent communicator. I believe Christy would be an asset as a Rover employee and whole-heartedly recommend her for the position.”

Sterlin D.

“First meeting with Sterlin. She was prompt and professional. Very friendly and came prepared. The dogs seem to have a good time and will definitely book with her again.”

Sarah K.

“Sarah was great kept in touch was very personable”

Andrea L.
“Andrea took such amazing care of my two dogs, and I couldn’t be happier! One of my pups has a healing wound, and Andrea went above and beyond to make sure she was comfortable and happy, keeping a close eye on her and following all care instructions to the letter. She also made sure my other dog got plenty of attention and playtime, so no one felt left out. As if that wasn’t enough, she even cleaned up the yard, which was such a thoughtful touch. I came home to happy dogs and a clean yard—Andrea is a true gem.”
