“Erin was fantastic, very responsive, sent messages and photos with every visit! Had no worries and alleviated all my stress with traveling. Will definitely be my go to in the future!”

“Marinna was an amazing sitter! She was attentive towards the cats and spent lots of time with them. She made sure all their special needs were addressed like meds and special diets and was available to answer my questions while I was away from home. I would definitely rebook with her. Thanks, Marinna!”

“Madison is amazing! She was reliable, communicative, took care of every detail, and most importantly - she was extremely kind and so loving with my doggy. Trusting someone for a drop in visit was a big deal, I’m so glad I did though. I will absolutely be using Madison again in the future! Thank you!!!”

“If you are looking for someone to take care of your pets I will always recommend Jessica! She cares for your animals like they are her own! I have a cat who doesn’t like anyone and takes she a while to warm up to people but she goes right up to Jessica to be pet after only a couple of times of meeting! If that doesn’t say anything about her then I don’t know what would.”

“Spencer provided excellent care and frequent, clear communication. He readily stepped in for some additional days after my flight was delayed last minute. I will definitely be utilizing his services again.”

About: Hi, welcome to Castle K-9 where dogs rule! We would be thrilled to have your dog come stay and enjoy our lovely accommodations. My husband and I love the company of dogs. We have both had pets since we were children, and as a couple, we have always had multiple dogs. I am a retired English teacher and occasionally work part-time as a substitute, but I am home most of the time. My husband is also retired. We have a large fenced yard and a 2500 square foot home in the country. Sadly, our two dogs passed away in the early months of 2023, so we no longer have pets. Instead we look forward to enjoying other peoples' pets. As dog lovers, your dogs will enjoy all the perks of being one of the family. We are experienced at administering medication and are sensitive to the needs of senior dogs who may prefer to cuddle on the sofa or simply steer clear of too much activity. At our house, your dog will enjoy your vacation as much as you do. All guests are required to have up to date vaccinations and be flea free. Rates run from $50-$65 depending on the size, age and special needs of your dog. Please contact us to see if we are a good fit for your dog, so you can enjoy your time away worry-free. Should you decide to make a reservation, please note that drop-off and pick-up is during the hours from 8am to 8pm. We are a retired couple and are available for full time care and companionship for your dog. We are generally able to accommodate most schedules. We have a large fenced yard and several spaces within our home to accommodate the needs and personalities of various dogs. Many dogs are anxious when they are in a new environment and we do our best to alleviate that stress, by carefully monitoring their behaviors.
About: I have been taking care of neighborhood pets since I was young. I have experience as a veterinary assistant, training reactive dogs, and I have worked at a farm. I am comfortable with large dogs, reactive animals, or aggressive animals that need a little extra love and attention. I work a part time job from home with a flexible schedule, so I am available almost always. I have full availability on weekdays and weekends. I can do drop ins visits and walks only, no boarding. I will follow any rules set by you to ensure the maximum safety for your baby:)

“Gillian was genuinely so great with the boys. She was also great at communicating with me any concerns that she had. There were some messages that had been made, and she went above and beyond offering to take the items to try to wash them at her house. I would never expect that from somebody but even the offer was such a kind gesture. I’m so glad my pups had someone so caring and attentive to take care of them while I was out of town.”

About: I'm a dog mom of two. I love dogs and go out of my way to care for them, spoil them, and make them feel loved. I am capable of watching other pets outside of the norm. I have experience with fish, reptiles, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. Just send me a message and we can discuss! I work full time on a hybrid schedule. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with dogs. I have open availability to allow dogs in my home or to drop in to your home. I'm excited to meet some new furry friends! The pet that comes into my home has free rein. I ensure to treat them as my own, giving them snuggles, treats, and daily walks. If you prefer drop ins, I am also available to do so. Just let me know your dogs schedule and what works for you!
About: I’ve had dogs and horses my entire life and helped to care for them. Now that I am older I have 2 dogs of my own that are the light of my life. I also have helped my boyfriend out with taking care of his many Rover clients :) I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter I am looking to work part time walking and taking care of dogs. I will always do my best to fit your pet into my schedule and make them feel loved! Depending on the dog/animal I am taking care of, I can take them for walks, let them run at the park and play fetch, and whatever else they may desire.
“Would book Kayla again in a heartbeat. My Frank can be a little spicy with new people but Kayla was patient with him and made sure he was safe and fed. Working with Kayla through rover was so easy and took away from the stress of leaving my guy for a few days! Thank you again Kayla!!”

“Elizabeth took great care of our furry family members this weekend. Both the dogs were calm and happy when we got home. Elizabeth is such a pleasant lady and she is very patient with the dogs. We are blessed to have found her and for her help this weekend. We will be calling on her again in the future.”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.
About: I grew up on a farm with a ton of animals. We had 10 plus cats and 6 dogs. I’m also experienced with dogs with disabilities I have 3 cats at home and regularly visit my parents to help with the animals there as well. I like being around dogs just don’t have the space myself. I’m very good at caring for the pets. I can walk, brush, wash, or even just play with them. I take good care of the 3 cats I have at home.
“She is very tentative! Providing updates during visits of my dogs conditions and how they seem as well as goings on like when they had some diarrhea. She is very nice and implements how you want your animals to be taken care of. Is willing to use and learn about things like the e-collars I use for my girls. All around a good sitter!”

“Staci did a great job with my elderly cocker spaniel. I felt very secure knowing that she was taking care of her during my vacation out of town. I received several pictures and updates on how she was doing while I was gone. I would definitely book her again to care for Tulla. Thank you, Staci?”

About: I am a huge animal lover with professional experience as a dog walker/sitter. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Ideally, I would like to find a few dogs that would like to be walked throughout the week or checked on. I have a 10 + years experience dog sitting short/long term. I'm able to provide great references for the pets I've cared for in the past! I am energetic, fun, and easy to get along with. I like to make the most out of our time together! I like to be outdoors as much as possible. If your dog is comfortable, I would love to take your dog to events, the dog park, and short hikes. Your dog will love the experience I will provide! Dogs usually immediately like me and feel comfortable around me. Dogs of all ages and sizes welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fue babies! I am currently working part-time. Jezel was super sweet and really great with our cat. We had her come twice a day for 5 days and stay for an hour at each visit. She brought in our packages, sent us lots of photos, gave her some much appreciated outdoor time and play time. She was everything we could have asked for and would absolutely use her again

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
