“Marinna was an amazing sitter! She was attentive towards the cats and spent lots of time with them. She made sure all their special needs were addressed like meds and special diets and was available to answer my questions while I was away from home. I would definitely rebook with her. Thanks, Marinna!”

About: Hi, welcome to Castle K-9 where dogs rule! We would be thrilled to have your dog come stay and enjoy our lovely accommodations. My husband and I love the company of dogs. We have both had pets since we were children, and as a couple, we have always had multiple dogs. I am a retired English teacher and occasionally work part-time as a substitute, but I am home most of the time. My husband is also retired. We have a large fenced yard and a 2500 square foot home in the country. Sadly, our two dogs passed away in the early months of 2023, so we no longer have pets. Instead we look forward to enjoying other peoples' pets. As dog lovers, your dogs will enjoy all the perks of being one of the family. We are experienced at administering medication and are sensitive to the needs of senior dogs who may prefer to cuddle on the sofa or simply steer clear of too much activity. At our house, your dog will enjoy your vacation as much as you do. All guests are required to have up to date vaccinations and be flea free. Rates run from $50-$65 depending on the size, age and special needs of your dog. Please contact us to see if we are a good fit for your dog, so you can enjoy your time away worry-free. Should you decide to make a reservation, please note that drop-off and pick-up is during the hours from 8am to 8pm. We are a retired couple and are available for full time care and companionship for your dog. We are generally able to accommodate most schedules. We have a large fenced yard and several spaces within our home to accommodate the needs and personalities of various dogs. Many dogs are anxious when they are in a new environment and we do our best to alleviate that stress, by carefully monitoring their behaviors.
About: I'm a dog mom of two. I love dogs and go out of my way to care for them, spoil them, and make them feel loved. I am capable of watching other pets outside of the norm. I have experience with fish, reptiles, guinea pigs, bunnies, etc. Just send me a message and we can discuss! I work full time on a hybrid schedule. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with dogs. I have open availability to allow dogs in my home or to drop in to your home. I'm excited to meet some new furry friends! The pet that comes into my home has free rein. I ensure to treat them as my own, giving them snuggles, treats, and daily walks. If you prefer drop ins, I am also available to do so. Just let me know your dogs schedule and what works for you!
“Madison is amazing! She was reliable, communicative, took care of every detail, and most importantly - she was extremely kind and so loving with my doggy. Trusting someone for a drop in visit was a big deal, I’m so glad I did though. I will absolutely be using Madison again in the future! Thank you!!!”

“Kayla is so awesome. Not only did she come to our rescue at the last minute, but she sent us pictures of our kitty. Really appreciate her coming to the rescue with less than 24 hours notice to do a quick drop by to feed our cat. Would highly recommend Kayla!”
“If you are looking for someone to take care of your pets I will always recommend Jessica! She cares for your animals like they are her own! I have a cat who doesn’t like anyone and takes she a while to warm up to people but she goes right up to Jessica to be pet after only a couple of times of meeting! If that doesn’t say anything about her then I don’t know what would.”

About: I have been taking care of neighborhood pets since I was young. I have experience as a veterinary assistant, training reactive dogs, and I have worked at a farm. I am comfortable with large dogs, reactive animals, or aggressive animals that need a little extra love and attention. I work a part time job from home with a flexible schedule, so I am available almost always. I have full availability on weekdays and weekends. I can do drop ins visits and walks only, no boarding. I will follow any rules set by you to ensure the maximum safety for your baby:)

“Bill and Emma we're great! They're very patient and caring, and made sure our dog was well looked after. They clearly love animals, and we're very happy to recommend them!”

“Staci did a great job with my elderly cocker spaniel. I felt very secure knowing that she was taking care of her during my vacation out of town. I received several pictures and updates on how she was doing while I was gone. I would definitely book her again to care for Tulla. Thank you, Staci?”

About: I’ve had dogs and horses my entire life and helped to care for them. Now that I am older I have 2 dogs of my own that are the light of my life. I also have helped my boyfriend out with taking care of his many Rover clients :) I currently volunteer at a local animal shelter I am looking to work part time walking and taking care of dogs. I will always do my best to fit your pet into my schedule and make them feel loved! Depending on the dog/animal I am taking care of, I can take them for walks, let them run at the park and play fetch, and whatever else they may desire.
“She is an incredible and authentic person with patience for with my two dogs that we’re not easy, but she showed her professionalism and her desire to make them feel comfortable and for that I am so grateful for her. I would use her again without any reservations.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all age and sizes since I was a child. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to do anything their pet needs while they’re away. In the future I’m looking to take a dog training course and slow transition into that as a full time job. Every morning I wake up and immediately tend to the dogs and let them outside to use the bathroom and play around, then we come Inside to eat breakfast to start the day. We go outside about 3x daily to potty and play. I have a big privacy fenced in yard for play time. I have 4 dogs of my own. However I typically do not let them converse with my boarding dogs unless known that they are friendly.
About: I am a huge animal lover with professional experience as a dog walker/sitter. Right now my schedule is pretty flexible. Ideally, I would like to find a few dogs that would like to be walked throughout the week or checked on. I have a 10 + years experience dog sitting short/long term. I'm able to provide great references for the pets I've cared for in the past! I am energetic, fun, and easy to get along with. I like to make the most out of our time together! I like to be outdoors as much as possible. If your dog is comfortable, I would love to take your dog to events, the dog park, and short hikes. Your dog will love the experience I will provide! Dogs usually immediately like me and feel comfortable around me. Dogs of all ages and sizes welcome! I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fue babies! I am currently working part-time. I have plenty of time, as well as a flexible schedule, to attend to your pet with my undivided attention. I pride myself on treating clients pets the same as my own, with lots of love and affection! I am respectful of my clients homes, as well as their desired schedules.
“Kiki was kind, friendly, thoughtful and provided EXCELLENT care of our 2 cats in our home while we were away for over a week. She kept us informed and went above and beyond in letting us know how they were doing! She gave us the peace of mind that comes from being fully confident that she was going to be there for our pets. Check her out for your pet sitting needs. Kiki is the REAL DEAL ❤️”

“Rachel was professional, kind, and caring to our cat over the course of a week and a half. She skillfully administered his medication on the days he needed it, and went above and beyond to play with him, cuddle with him, snap photos, and get him fed and taken care of, all in a couple of visits each day. She consistently communicated with us, and delivered reports of her time with our cat after each visit. We highly recommend her to any and all pet owners!”

About: We live on 4.25 acres. We do have a large back deck that is attached to the house. Our dogs love going on the the deck to sit and bath in the sun. I have had all kinds of pets since I was a little girl. I am 34 years old that is wanting to do something that I love. I am married of 13 years, we have a 15 year old son, and have 3 pomeranian/papillon. We are very pet friendly. The dogs are free to roam as they please. We have potty trained our 3 dogs. We let our dogs on the furniture and through out our house, we believe in on open environment. Our dogs go outside as often as they like, we do not have a doggy door, but I do take them out every few hours when I am home. The dogs always have food and water that are out all the time. I drive a Chevy Traverse, for when I need to either pick dogs up from their home's or for when we leave the dogs have somewhere to sit. My services are great, because here in our house we love animals of all shapes and sizes. I take pride in taking care of our animals and yours as well. I own my own cleaning company and my husband works part time. Don't worry taking care of your fur babies will not get in the way of our schedules. Our back deck is fenced in on the top including a gate for the stairs. We do let the dogs outside as often as they like (typically every few hours.) Our dogs roam the house as they please and they always have food and water out.

Jezel was super sweet and really great with our cat. We had her come twice a day for 5 days and stay for an hour at each visit. She brought in our packages, sent us lots of photos, gave her some much appreciated outdoor time and play time. She was everything we could have asked for and would absolutely use her again

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
