About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

Safety always come first. All outdoor time is fully supervised and your pup will never be off leash unless in a safely enclosed area. My day pretty much revolves around dogs — and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Since I work from home most of the week, I’m able to keep a flexible schedule full of walks, playtime, and cuddles. About: I own and care for a 3 year-old medium goldendoodle. He is energetic and always ready to play with any dog or human around. I have 2 years of dog training experience, including basic obedience training, and basic trick training. I grew up with a Brittany, so I am very familiar with the personalities and instincts of hunting breeds as well. I stay at home with my one year old son, so I am available during the week days, and for extended stays/overnight boarding. We would love to care for your dog! I have a fenced in yard for the dogs to run. I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
