About: I’ve been involved with dog rescue for many years. I worked with virtually every type of dog there is. From shy, timid to very high energy. I’ve had dogs that had aggression issues. I worked with dogs on leash training, housebreaking, and socialization. I am retired. I have nothing but time on my hands! I volunteer Thursday mornings at an equine therapy barn. But I will still have time to take care of animals on Thursdays. I am open to caring for dogs in my home. But! They have to be dog and cat friendly. I would prefer not to have younger dogs, only because my dogs are older and don’t like young dogs, jumping all over them. My dogs are very dog friendly though. My cats are very dog friendly. In fact, they prefer dogs over our cats!

About: I have loved animals ever since I was born. They are my favorite thing in life. I will treat your animal with the most love I can offer. I’m more of a stay-at-home person, so when I am committed to watching your pet, they will be well taken care of while in my care. I have a fenced in yard and lots of space for a dog to play in! I have 2 cats but they are very antisocial and won’t be a problem. I’m also a quick learner and a natural when it comes to pet care!

I will provide your dog’s food and any medicines or care routines on your provided schedule, to maintain your dog’s familiar routine while in a new environment. I am flexible with your dog’s preferred sleeping arrangements— I have a large crate and a medium sized crate available if your dog is a crate sleeper, but my dog is allowed on furniture, so I will provide whatever your dog prefers. Family-friendly, non-aggressive, fairly sociable dogs are preferred, no age preferences or restrictions. My toddler LOVES dogs and will certainly run up to hug or pet the dog.
