“Tracy and her family were so kind and attentive with our very senior, blind, special needs boy. Her attention to detail with his schedule and patience with him was so appreciated. We were able to go on a week long vacation and know he was getting the snuggles and attention he is used to at home. I cannot ever thank her enough for taking such great care of sweet boy. Her dog Geordie is such a sweetheart as well. Highly recommend. Thanks again Tracy!”
“Mochi enjoyed his week with Roseann and Bandit. We knew he had a really great time when he was so calm at pickup. If you’re looking for a pet sitter who will treat your fur baby like one of their own, look no further than Roseann!”

“Morgan was an amazing host that saved my butt at the very last minute under unforeseen circumstances. She was friendly, easy, and made me feel 100% comfortable leaving my 4 month old puppy in her care. She followed up each day with photos and messages, putting my mind at ease, and I can confidently say that my little guy had a great time and came back to me happy and healthy. She was a pleasure to deal with and so sweet to help me out. 10/10.”

“Rebecca, who goes by “B” was a kind and gracious sitter to my kittens. She allowed me to meet her and her dog Pugsley prior to the stay and inside that I had pics and videos of my babies throughout their visit in her care. I’m grateful to have found B and look forward to her caring for Blair and Mark again. Thank you for everything!”

“Cassie has taken care of our sweet girl multiple times and I know Bailey loves it there! She always has so much fun with her other dogs and kids and i know she is in good hands!”

“Tammy & John did a great job watching Shelly over the holidays! They sent us an update with photos every single night. Our girl can be a bit overbearing at times and they handled her so well. I would absolutely recommend them to any dog owner and they will be my first choice when we need a sitter!”

“Grateful to have great care for my 2 dogs! Lauren gave us updates and pictures of them while we were away. Our flight didn't get in until late and she dropped the girls at our house so they'd be there when we got home. The best, thanks Lauren!!!”

“I was very nervous for my boy n I heard he did sooo good on his first night away.. I am extremely relived and happy and will b booking her again in the future.. thank you!”

“LeKesha took such great care of my Monte. It was my first time booking with LeKesha, so I was nervous at first. LeKesha quickly offered to let us come by her house for a meet and greet before we left for our trip. Monte quickly made himself at home and played with the other dogs. While we were away, I got pictures and updates. Overall, it was a great five star experience!”

“Tatiana is amazing with our overly anxious pup!! She kept us updated and informed every day while we were away. We will definitely be repeat customers!! Thank you Tatiana!!!”

“I highly recommend Stephanie! I was super nervous about leaving Glacier since he was so anxious with the last sitter he had but she took such amazing care of him and sent so many updates and pictures throughout the day without me even having to ask which I loved. You could tell Glacier was having the best time with her!”

“Andrew and Tenyia were so good with my fur baby. They sent cool videos of him playing with their dog which made me feel that he is well taken care of and having lots of fun. I highly recommend these lovely folks to watch your fur baby.”

“Claire and her family welcomed Bo and treated him as their own! I was apprehensive leaving him with a new sitter, but I was immediately comforted with lots of photos and updates of how Bo was doing. He loved their wooded fenced in back yard for exploring, sitting on their deck and being held when asked! This family is worth the extra drive for me knowing how well Bo was treated while a guest at their home.”

About: Welcome to your dog's safe, happy, and fun-filled home away from home. I have loved and cared for my own pets for decades, and have spent the past 5 years caring for others' furry family members. I'm an experienced dog walker and trainer, and am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I have 3 years of experience training dogs and puppies, including working with reactive and fearful pups. Regardless of your dog's particular quirks, they are welcome here! I am an experienced foster, dog walker, and trainer for the local humane society. I am confident managing dogs with behavioral issues, including reading body language, and keeping dogs separate from other animals if they require that. I am comfortable giving medication, both orally and via injections, and I will give patient and loving care to your sick or senior dogs who need a little extra love. I am happy to keep up with any training while you're away (be it puppy training, potty training, obedience work, or leash manners.) I treat all my dog guests like part of the family, and your dogs are welcome to join the pack while they are here, any day of the week! I work full-time, but always come home for an hour at lunchtime to care for and tend to the dogs. Everyone gets a walk and yard time before I head to work, and plenty of playtime and attention when I get home. Dogs are never left for more than 4 hours. What your dog can expect: 🐕🦺Leash walks! Your dog will enjoy at least one solid walk every day (either on his own, or joining my two dogs for a pack walk). 🦴🥎 Secure Playtime! Your dog will love romping and playing in my fenced backyard, lounging under the trees, and splashing in the doggy pool. All playtimes are well-supervised, to ensure everyone is well-mannered and safe. 💤 Quiet private space: There are two doggy guest suites set up in my home, complete with their own bed, crate, food & water dishes. This ensures that your dog can relax during naptimes, meal-times, and bedtimes, without any other pups bothering them. 🏠 Part of the family When your dogs are here, they're part of the pack, and I'll care for them just like my own dogs. This means equal access to couches, dog beds, belly rubs, and frisbees. Depending on your dog's needs, they may join my dogs in the house and yard, or they may get their own solo couch time & play time, if they prefer not to be around other dogs. Whatever makes them feel at home, that's what we'll provide.
“This was my first time using Rover as well as leaving my fur baby with anyone overnight - ever. Ranesha came thru for us at the very last second when another sitter didn’t work out (also at the very last second). He was so happy that when I came to get him he didn’t want to leave! I feel safe and confident leaving Bo with Ranesha and we will be back for all of our boarding needs for sure. Thank you, Ranesha, for taking such good care of my precious Bo!”

“Our cat Maslow was very well cared for during his stay, and I really appreciated the updates, communication, and attention given throughout the visit. It was clear he was comfortable and in good hands the entire time. Thank you for being reliable, attentive, and making the experience stress-free. I would absolutely book again and highly recommend to anyone looking for quality care for their pet. :)”

“Naomi took very good care of my baby even with it being last minute booking. She even catered to him to be sure he didn’t have any anxiety and provided updates and pictures while I was away. I will definitely book again! Thank you Naomi!!”

Mario and Satchel had a wonderful visit at Tracy's home. She shared so many special updates and it was clear upon my return they were well taken care of during their stay. Our family looks forward to connecting with Tracy in the future. We will also recommend her to others.

Yan and her family did an amazing job with Jakota. Jakota is 11 yrs old and blind and they managed to make her feel safe and loved in their home. While away on vacation, we received multiple updates and photos which made it easy for us to relax and enjoy our vacation. Thank you so much for taking care of our baby as if she was your own. JF
We had not boarded or used a caregiver for our three year old mini Goldendoodle, Buddie, and were very worried about doing so. We couldn’t take Buddie on our recent trip which necessitated finding someone to care for our girl. Through research we found Leidy on Rover.com and all our worries were put to rest. Leidy is a compassionate and very giving caregiver. Right from the start, Buddie was at home with her. She took to Leidy immediately, as did we. Leidy sent us updates, photos and videos several times a day so that we would know that our girl was doing well, which she was. We were so grateful for Leidy’s constant care and concern for Buddie. She is an excellent caregiver and we would not hesitate to use her services again and/or recommend her to our family and friends. She’s the best! And, is Buddie’s new best friend! Thank you so much for all you did, Leidy. We truly appreciate you.

I did a meet and greet with rebecca to meet her with my pups and she has a really nice set up in our house. It’s clean. It’s safe. It’s got hardwood floors. No fence in yard, but she did say that she would take the dogs for multiple walks during the day to get . She’s lots of nice places for pups to rest and also toys for them to play with. Meet and greet went well and she also has a cute pup that got along with my dogs. I went ahead with a booking and the first day. Rebecca was really wonderful at sending pictures and videos of all the fun times they were having together. She was also very quick to ask questions if there were any. Unfortunately, my puppy had an upset tummy from a true bone and ended up having an accident in the crate and it was all a little overwhelming and so I ended up having to cut the visit short and find another sitter just for the rest of the time that was needed. She was very good at communicating and making sure we found a good fit for my dogs. I appreciate her concern and also the care that she gave, and I feel awful that she had a sleepless night. I think ultimate in the end my pups are just not a good fit as they are high energy and can sometimes get excited over things on walks. I would definitely go over details and leave instructions, which I didn’t. She found very helpful about any quirks for your pups. I would also make sure what other commitments the sitter has at that time to make sure if there are other dogs or other pets that will be staying there during the duration of your stay and if she has other commitments during that time in case your pups need more attention. I know one of my dogs is very shy, and there was a dog that was booked during the day which I didn’t know about and if I had known, I would’ve booked someone else that didn’t have because I know that would’ve stressed my dog out.

Philip and Julie are absolutely fantastic with Leo. They handled a last-minute schedule change without hesitation and were so accommodating. Leo always comes home happy and tired after plenty of nature walks, and we love the amazing photos they send during his stay. They’re reliable, kind, and clearly care about every detail. Highly recommend!

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Overlook home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Overlook.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Overlook sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
