Work From Home, Fenced-In Yard
I work from home, so I'll be with your dogs all day. And I only take one client's dogs at a time, so your dog(s) won't be with dogs they haven't met--unless both sets of owners agree to it. I grew up with poodles, and as an adult, I've had Chihuahua mixes and a Cairn terrier. I also fostered Cairn terriers for a rescue group. I currently have one adopted male Chihuahua mix, Geordie (he's neutered), and we'd like to welcome your small dog or dogs into our home. Geordie is super-friendly with other dogs as well as people. My one-story house has tile and LVP flooring (no carpets) and a fenced-in yard. Your dogs will be allowed on the furniture, and they can sleep in bed with Geordie; my partner, Garret; and me unless they'd prefer to sleep in a doggie bed or their crate (you supply it) in our bedroom. Please note: I require meet and greets for first-time clients so that you can meet Geordie and me and see my house and yard and I can meet you and your dog. For this reason, I'm not able to accommodate same-day or next-day requests for new clients. I don't sit blind dogs--I've found that they're extremely agitated in unfamiliar surroundings. For overnight stays, the earliest drop-off time is 8 a.m., and the latest pickup time is 8:30 p.m. Finally, I'll feed your dogs whatever food you provide, but I won't handle raw meat (including fish) or raw eggs.

Schedule
I work from home, so I'll be with your dogs for most of the day. When I'm not home (for example, if I'm grocery shopping), your dog will likely chill with Geordie in the living room. I can also put your dog in the kitchen with a doggie bed and water, with a baby gate in the doorway.

I have a large fenced-in backyard, and your dogs will be supervised while they're outside. My house has tile and LVP flooring, so any messes are easy to clean up.

A typical day
I can play fetch with your dogs outside, and hopefully they'll enjoy playing with Geordie as well. We can also play inside if the weather is bad. We like to relax on the couch and watch TV in the evenings.
