About: Hi, I’m Nadia, and welcome to my Woodland Paws Retreat! Woodland Paws Retreat is my home-based dog boarding business, located on five beautiful wooded acres in a peaceful country setting in Schuyler, Virginia. I proudly serve families in Charlottesville, Crozet, Scottsville, and the surrounding areas. Our spacious, natural surroundings are wonderful for dogs who enjoy fresh air, exploring, walking, running, playing, and simply relaxing in a peaceful environment. Whether your dog is playful or calm, young or senior, confident or a little shy, every dog is welcomed here with love, patience, and personalized attention. I love welcoming dogs into our home and making them feel comfortable, happy, and cared for while they are away from their families. My priority is not only their safety, but also making sure they feel at home and enjoy their stay. When your best friend is in my care, you can relax knowing they are being treated like part of our family. I am currently working from home, so my schedule is flexible, and I have enough time to enjoy taking care of your furry friends giving them love, attention, providing exercise, and tailor each dog unique needs. Our home is surrounded by five beautiful wooded acres, creating a peaceful and private retreat where dogs can enjoy fresh air, exercise, and time in nature. We have plenty of space for dogs to play and exercise, including a large fenced area and a spacious fenced backyard deck. One of the favorite spots at our retreat is our screened balcony overlooking the woods. Dogs love relaxing there, watching birds and wildlife, enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature and simply observe everything happening around them. Inside our home, there is plenty of comfortable space to play, relax, and spend time with us. Some of our guests even enjoy watching Dog TV while keeping us company. Most importantly, every dog receives plenty of individual attention, love, and supervision. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my priorities. I understand how important it is to trust someone with a beloved family member, and I truly appreciate the trust you place in me. My goal is for you to travel with complete peace of mind, knowing your dog is safe, loved, and well cared for.

About: I am definitely the biggest animal lover you will get to know! For years i’ve cared for and trained a wide range of animals wild and domestic. I’ve also worked in shelters and rescue centers to helped troubled dogs and cats. I have experience handling about every personality type of animal and sizes + quantities. Every animal I meet, I treat with the same love and care as my own fur babies. I cant wait to take care of your beloved furry friends!! I have plenty of time to dedicate to all the lovely animals i work with! Im a full time student in college but only enrolled in online classes so I have a very flexible schedule. I have 3 dogs of my own who I spend most my days with but I have also been fostering many dogs up until now. I can work with crate dogs, big, small, basically anything I am ready to take on. Im by the book so you tell me how you want things done and it’ll be exactly that way.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My house is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. Whenever I watch my friends animals, I bring my own food and activities and leave the place better than I found it.

About: First of all, my name is Toni. Rover will only accept legally changed names, and I haven’t gotten there yet. But I’m Toni M. and I started getting involved with pet care because of my mental illness and autism. The stress of life was lowering my ability to function and every job I tried seemed to make it all worse. Enter: Dogs. I decided if I was going to make it I needed to be doing something that gave instead of took from me. Animals have helped bring me back to life in the dark. I’ve worked with puppies and older dogs. I’ve spent significant time with dogs with anxiety issues as well. I tend to connect with dogs who need a little extra love the most anyway. If at all possible I prefer boarding as transitions can be a challenge but I’m usually up for anything the pet needs to feel safe and secure and do a lot of house sitting, too and am more than willing too. I try to keep all homes clean and tidy for the owner’s return. My own home is small, only two usable rooms, but has a large wooded yard and perfect spots for beautiful walks, or throwing a ball and playing fetch in our secluded field if the dog is not an eloper. My dog loved living in this home before he passed as it is quiet and peaceful, and playing ball was his favorite thing in the world. Hit me up if you need some help, as I’m quite passionate about this work and want to be of service. :) ✨ When a pet stays with me we have a routine. Coffee (for me), breakfast, walk. And in the evenings we eat, play, have downtime. I guarantee an hour of exercise a day for your pet as well. I always appreciate a crate just in case but that doesn’t mean I’ll use it. My home is small so if your dog is a big chewer it might not be the perfect fit for boarding unless a crate is available. I’m home almost all day and can monitor animals closely and give plenty of love. I like to play outside with the animals twice a day. Water bowel is always filled and animals are always welcome on my furniture. They’re free to make themselves at home.

Our home is very pet-friendly. We have: •One 6-year-old pit mix who is part of our family •Three indoor/outdoor cats who are comfortable around dogs •A toddler, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around small children •A fully fenced yard with a doggy door I’m happy to accept dogs of all ages and sizes, including puppies and senior dogs. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs who need medications or additional attention. Our sweet 15-year-old beagle, Cletis, who you may see in my profile picture, recently passed away, so I’m very familiar with the extra care that comes with senior dogs, including medications and keeping up with their individual routines. I also have plenty of experience with hounds and their famously adventurous, escape-artist personalities! The one important requirement is that your dog must be comfortable being crated. About: im no stranger to any breed! i’ve had a passion for animals since i was young and cared for dogs ranging from little to big, trained and untrained! i’ve cared for cats ranging from stray and feral since i was young. i love to be involved with animals. i have a lot of free time in my day because i work at night, and I am available at any time for quick bookings! i am very attentive in my home and/or in my clients home. i will care for their basic needs, feedings water and of course being outside! i am able to do extras such bathing and grooming if needed. your fur babies will be well loved and given lots of attention and plenty of fun play time! i also have an unfenced yard but plenty of ground to play on. i can easily accommodate to your pets needs
