About: I’ve cared for everything from Chihuahuas to English Mastiffs! We’ve trained them as puppies and cared for them to their last days. They are family. I’m currently working as a part time substitute in Lexington 1. I make my own schedule during the school year. I love teaching special education. I have a large fenced yard. About: I like to pay attention to the emotional state of the pets I’m looking after. Their comfort level is important to me. Love and science based dog training is also Huge for me and I don’t punish dogs! I work full-time but I’m almost always available on the weekends and on holidays! I will be free during the summer to work on the weekdays. I live in an apartment with my teenage children and my dog, Milo. The place is puppy-proofed as needed and he is house-trained + crate-trained! As for my clients, I like to have a little care plan that includes emergency information or instructions on how to care for the dog im watching.I love being affectionate with my furry friends but I also know to respect their boundaries.

About: Update: I will not be available Oct 27 - Nov 2. This has happened to me and it is so very unfortunate I have to say this...If you have a senior dog, please let me know of any changes to their health!!!!! If you believe your pup is nearing end of life, PLEASE do not ask me to keep your dog. It is very heartbreaking and your pet wants YOU and needs YOU during his or her last days because YOU are their entire world. I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.

About: Hello:) I'm Bella, and I've been independently taking care of and looking after dogs since I was 10 years old! My mother has been in the rescue space for about 15 years, starting her own in 2019. I've had the opportunity to meet, foster, and transport hundreds of different dogs with all sorts of unique characteristics/behaviors. I have also done multiple overnight stays for families that have previously adopted dogs from the rescue and friends. All dog breeds are welcome here! I have watched dogs from chihuahuas to Chows to Airedale terriers. Additionally, from puppies to seniors, small to extra-large, I am comfortable with all dogs and can accommodate special needs. I'm no stranger to raw feeding, administering medications, light training, and grooming. I've always had a deep love and special interest in all aspects of owning dogs, so It's always been my dream to do this professionally. I am currently in school part-time and can be out doing that for about 2-6 hours on Mondays and Wednesdays. During this time, my mother works from home, takes care of the animals' needs, and lets them hang out with her while she works. The animals run the schedule in our home; there's never a time their needs aren't met for other plans. I am a night owl, but I am also up very early. So no matter the time of day, I can stay on schedule for walking, feeding, medication, or potty times. I'm experienced with leash pullers and escape artists, so I am always very cautious when it comes to walking or when leaving a dog alone. I have a wealth of knowledge about veterinary needs and am not afraid to act if it ever becomes necessary. I have a large fenced-in yard here at the house and plenty of space to roam with a leash outside of that. The permanent animals in my home are 4 friendly dogs (1 male Chow, 1 female Chow, 2 female small-medium mixed breeds) and 5 cats. Fosters are in and out often but do not disturb the function of the household. Separation is possible in the house with crates, corrals, or gated off rooms. Extra animal supplies are always available here from the rescues' overflow, so we are always prepared for anything. We keep a clean home, and I've been a part-time professional cleaner, so I will keep a tidy space if staying in your home as well. I'm not afraid of any messes; I have seen and cleaned it all! Communication is key, and I'm up for molding around your schedule if need be. My aim to treat your pups with the utmost respect and love they deserve, so you won't have any need to worry when you can't be with them!

“I have used Rover before in Alaska and was less than pleased with the amount of time spent with my two mini schnauzers, Nahla spend most of her time taking care of my girls during my short trip (three days). The dogs were walked everyday and they liked her a lot.
