Over the years, I have provided reliable dog and cat sitting services, working with a variety of breeds and sizes. Growing up in a home that always included pets has given me a deep appreciation for animals and a natural ability to care for them with patience, attention, and love. About: I have had pets my whole life. I currently have two cats. In college I worked on a farm and cared for cattle, chickens, goats, pigs, and alpaca. I am currently a zoo keeper and have been in the field for three years. I have cared for reptiles, small mammals, some birds, and larger hoof stock. I have experience giving medications, preparing special diets, training, and observing animal health/behavior. I have worked with young and senior animals. My weekends are Tuesday and Wednesday, so anytime of day I am free. On days that I work I am able to care for your pets before or after. If needed I can also check on your pets during lunch. I am great at following instructions. When going into your home or staying the night I will provide the best care I can. I will make sure to respect your home and your pets!

About: Hi there, and thanks for checking out my profile! I’ve been on Rover for about a year and primarily take on housesitting roles or keep pets in my home, but I also have long term walking clients. I’m here because I genuinely love animals and have years of accumulated animal experience that really lends itself well to creating happy clients. I've had pets of all shapes and sizes since the 7th grade when I turned my dog into my science fair project (The Effect of Rewards on Dog Training). Since then, I've done obedience classes with one of my pups, worked with Australian Shepherd and Doberman rescue as a transporter and foster mom, and walked many miles with some cute pooches. I'm currently mom to one male cat, an Holland Lop, and one very typical male Golden Retriever. OH--and a seven year old human boy! I’m experienced in difficult animal behaviors such as separation anxiety and mild aggression towards other animals, potty training, medical emergencies (I am NOT clinically trained, but I’ve been through a lot of vet appointments between my pets and the rescues), and giving medication. I’m also a farmer and floral designer by trade, so I might covertly care for your houseplants as well. My work schedule is flexible, and I often work from home. I determine my own work schedule, so I can accommodate pet care most days and times. I’m very careful about not overcommitting myself, particularly when it comes to taking responsibility for other people’s pets. I offer in-home care for cat- and kid-friendly pups who get along well with other animals. Ollie the Golden Retriever will be sure to keep your dog well-entertained. He is 5 years old and still very "puppy," but ultimately, he’s a chill Golden to his core. The cat loves Ollie but are typically unimpressed by all other creatures. The rabbit rules the house.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was in middle school. For four years, I assisted in end-of-life care for a senior dog along with being a farmhand for two horses. My previous job in Florida was at an animal shelter, and consisted of feeding, cleaning, and medicating up to 40 kittens/cats/dogs a day. I am available any time, any day of the week. I’m currently job searching for a position at a shelter, so in the meantime I would love to meet your animals and make friends! I live in an apartment with my partner and two kittens. I feed them twice a day, with a capsule of Proviable split between them. They are strictly indoor kitties, and I have given them both a flea bath.

About: I have many years of experience taking care of every different kind of animal. I’m here to take your dog on walks, to play, feed your pet if you’re gone, care for them overnight, at your place or mine! I have experience with dogs, cats, horses, and all of your smaller pets as well. About: Update: I will not be available Oct 27 - Nov 2 and Nov 9-13. This has happened to me and it is so very unfortunate I have to say this...If you have a senior dog, please let me know of any changes to their health!!!!! If you believe your pup is nearing end of life, PLEASE do not ask me to keep your dog. It is very heartbreaking and your pet wants YOU and needs YOU during his or her last days because YOU are their entire world. I love dogs!! I've fostered many dogs and volunteered at many shelters. I've had seniors and even fostered one with spina bifida. My first two loves were English Bulldogs. I have lots of experience with them and know that smooshy face breeds are much more delicate than other breeds. I absolutly love them! I'm not good with extremely energtic dogs, but can handle anything else. I am semi-retired. I currently work part time on Friday and Sundays with an occasional third day, so I am home a lot. I have plenty of time to devote to your pooch. In my home, I care for your pet just as I care for mine. Of course, with your direction implemented also. I do have a pool, so I will need to know how your dog is around pools, or if they have zero experience with pools, I will need to know that as well.

About: I’m a medical assistant but I recently went back to school for occupational therapy, I have two golden retrievers that I love so much, I have been pet sitting off & on for about 5 years now and I’ve been taken care of my neighbors cats for about 5 years. I love my dogs so much that I know it takes a special person to trust to watch your fur babies, love animals & would love to take care of your pets! I also, have a flyer on my Facebook! & have been caring for many pets through meeting people in community through facebook I’m currently in school for occupational therapy! About: Growing up, there has always been at least one pet in my life (once even 5 in the household at the same time!), so I pride myself on taking care of pets well and I love doing so! I have a dog of my own whom I raised from the puppy stage, so I'm quite familiar with that as well. While I love dogs specifically, I love all animals so I'm happy to take care of whatever furry creature you have! I'm a senior at CofC, so my only caveat is schoolwork, which I can do virtually any time or anywhere outside of my class schedule. My class schedule is very first of the day heavy from 10:30-3:30, but I already work around that schedule to take care of my own dog, so I wouldn't mind doing the same for your animal(s) as well :). I'm very forgiving and understanding with pets and will work to make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me and their environment. I am happy to crate them if needed, and am also happy to work on any tricks or teachings if needed!

About: I have years of experience owning animals. I’ve been training them professionally since 2016. All positive reinforcement. I can give you the reassurance of safety and love for your pet while you’re away, at work or just need a break. I’m available any time really. I am also available to watch reptiles, or small furry friends. I don’t discriminate against any animals. Cats as well but unfortunately not in my own home. I love them all. We a beautiful neighborhood to take leisure walks in, and the walking trail to harbison recreation center is right next to our house. We have a fully fenced back yard, great for escape artist. We can provide peace of mind for your fur , feathered and scaled babies. I do exactly what the parents request while giving the pets the patience and care they deserve. They will be in loving hands. Our goal is to make their stay stressless and enjoyable.
