I was a bit nervous just because Briggs is very high strung and has NO idea how large he is! Zac was brilliant with him….extremely patient (especially with me as I unpacked his Briggs’ bag with his teddy bear and blanket🙄)!!! Zac sent regular updates and pictures. “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

About: I’ve taken care of horses, dogs, cats, rabbits and other small fury pets since I was about 11, between owning and watching other people’s pet! About: I am an avid animal lover, looking for a fun side gig to help pay for my upcoming wedding. I have taken care of many animals for friends and family (including dogs, cats, fish, gerbils, bunnies, and mice). My own home has never been without at least one fur baby and is currently being ran by Penny and Pistol; 2 very adorable and rambunctious kittens. Also for most of covid, I spent my time volunteering at NAWS animal shelter in Chicago, which allows me to be well versed in many dog + cat ages and personalities. If you need some time away or work schedules are conflicting, I know the importance of each and every animal to you all, and would love to relieve any stress by helping out! I have just moved to the area from Chicago and will be starting a position as a corporate events manager at a nearby hotel. This will allow for some hour flexibility, but for the most part I am away from 7:30a-4p M-F. I do get an hour lunch break, so depending on your location, can utilize this to let any animal outside or just come by for some cuddles and attention. Otherwise, I am great with early mornings, later nights, and am available weekends. For most of us, these animals are our children. I know first-hand how scary it is to leave one of your furry family members in the care of strangers, and it is extremely important that you choose the person who will love and care for them as much as you do. Each animal is different and needs to be treated as such. I know that it is so important to read the signs these animals give off so that they are comfortable and happy, especially being away from their human. I love a good routine and will be adamant to stick to a specific regime if there is one. Also, If your animal is for it, I love a good cuddling sesh - so extra plus for those animals that don't understand boundaries.

About: I have had animals my whole life, never been able to live without at least 2. I love working with animals and their unique personalities. Every animal has their own quirks, and I would love to help care for your fur baby! I am available any days for boarding. Ruth and I go for a walk in the morning, in the evening, as well as playing out in the yard in between. We spend most of the night playing or lounging around the house. Ruth is typically crated at home, and I would prefer for your dog to have a crate as well so they have a space all to their own while staying with us. I have a large yard and a fence, and always monitor the dogs when outside. When interacting with any animal, I always make sure to be calm and gentle. I do my best to read animal body language and predict and prevent situations before they happen.
“It was a hot day at the beach and I didn’t feel comfortable taking my dog with me. I needed someone to watch my dog for a few hours. Vas was wonderful! She was very friendly, responsive, and the communication with her couldn’t have been any easier. She kept me updated on my dog and sent me pictures. About: Dogs are just a joy to have around; and when dog sitting, there is joy and love in the air, and who doesn't want to feel that? Gental love, care, and patience are key factors in dog sitting, no matter the dog. Recently, my family made the decision for my grandmother to be cared for inside of our home. I was a bit nervous just because Briggs is very high strung and has NO idea how large he is! Zac was brilliant with him….extremely patient (especially with me as I unpacked his Briggs’ bag with his teddy bear and blanket🙄)!!! Zac sent regular updates and pictures. Caesar has daily topical medicine that must be administered and Sebastian had no problem applying it for me. I truly believe Caesar felt like he was at home while in Sebastian’s care. “Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”

About: Ever since I was a child I have had a passion for taking care of animals: From fostering dogs as a child, getting my first job in a boarding facility, and 5 years as a veterinary technician. With my depth of experience from the veterinary field I can administer medication, provide care to those with special needs, and ensure a safe and healthy environment while providing love and affection. I work entirely from home and am available at all times of the day. I never would leave any dog unattended except for short periods, in which they would be safely crated. I take the utmost care to provide a safe and healthy environment for all pets including my own. I am meticulous in keeping our home clean, preventing any potential hazards of being in reach of animals, and ensuring there is clean water available at all times. At the same time, I want every guest to feel at home, and believe in animals having access to as much space as possible, feeling comfortable to sleep on the furniture and explore the house while supervised.

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was little. I’ve taken care of, feed played with and walked family and friends dogs and always made sure they were safe I’m currently not working so I have time to play and walk with your pups. I am able to board any day of the week at anytime! I do not have a fenced in yard but can assure you that your pups will be safe at all times. I have an older dog (8 yrs) who is the absolute best with other puppies!
