About: Have been around cats my whole life! I have previously worked at a vet clinic where I medicated and cared for cats pre and post surgery, as well as boarding. I have a couple years of taking care of a small Hermann tortoise, and have just taken on caring for a bearded dragon for the next year or so, and I love them! About: I’ve taken care of many dogs of different breeds for family and friends. I also helped my granny on the farm when she use to breed cocker spaniels. Puppies are perfect for cuddles but so are big dogs who think they still fit in your lap ! I enjoy taking my Doberman on runs in the park, he’s very friendly and loves meeting new pup pals ! Depending on the schedule my husband or son may be with me on the visits. My husband is military and often out of town so we enjoy dog walking and sitting together and cannot wait for our lives to settle down where we can add another fur baby to our tribe. I’m currently going to college and working but my hours are 9 to 5 which allow me to be flexible with morning and evening routines. I am currently not offering in home care for pets at this time. About: Growing up I always had dogs (and cats) which made me an avid animal lover from horses to dogs to cats. I have owned several dogs throughout my adult life. I currently own three dogs ( Sputnik, Newt, Ares) and love them more than anything. I work at the zoo with other avid animal lovers. Sea turtles and otters are my favorite btw. I've worked at a doggy day care and have volunteered my time at shelters and other zoos. I'll give you a full report after every visit with your fur kid. I can administer medications if needed. I'm used to all kinds of activity levels. I can accommodate seniors, hyper active and everything in between. I look forward to meeting you and your fur kids! I'm currently working part time, so I'll have plenty of time playing with your pups. I can easily stop in before work and spend some time with them and even longer after work. I am used to dogs that are escape artists, so your dogs will. always be safe and secure with me. I can easily read a dogs body language so nothing is unexpected.

“Our Louis is a 5-month old yorkiepoo, weighs 6 pounds, and has never stayed with anyone other than family. We were apprehensive about leaving him with non-family for 5 days while we cruised but did not have a choice. We searched Rover, chatted with a few people, found Nontombe and the end result is that we (and apparently Louis) completely adore Nontombe. Nontombe sent us videos and pictures and it was clear to see Louis was right at home with someone who loved on him and played with him. We were also worried about how Louis would get along with the other dogs being cared for but Nontombe outlined her plan to us to introduce Louis and what would happen if the dogs did not get along and the videos and pictures of Louis and the other dogs made us feel even more comfortable. It was also clear to us that Nontombe loves animals and is great with them. We recommend her for the care of your young and older fur babies and personally, we won’t use anyone else.”
