I have dogs of my own and understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and little quirks. I’m comfortable with routines, schedules, feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of love and attention. Im a mom and I have dogs of my own, so I’m pretty used to taking care of everyone and keeping up with a routine 😂. When I’m watching someone else’s pets, I really just treat them like they’re my own. I’ll follow whatever routine they’re used to, make sure they’re fed and let out, give them plenty of attention and playtime, and of course lots of cuddles if they’re into that. I’ll also respect your home and leave things the way I found them. About: Ive been around pets all my life! I started raising dogs when I was 11 and have helped friends and nieghbors with their dogs and cats since I was 15. Tasks have ranged from small check-ins with pets, to staying overnight to keep them company. Right now I work at a local food pantry on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Sundays are also a busy day for me, but I can be very flexible and move times around with enough notice. I have one black short haired cat that I spend most of my time with. She stays indoors, but I let her come out on my back deck to get some air and a better view of the birds and chipmunks she always has beef with. She's the most hyperactive and persnicity cat I've ever had the pleasure of knowing, so I'm experienced with cats who have their own ways of playing.
About: I’ve always had a passion for animals. Growing up, my mother was a dog sitter, which made me comfortable around most, if not all, breeds. I would help her with feeding while she took the dogs out. Now that I’m older, I have two huskies and a cat. My ultimate goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets. 😂 So, my love for animals is quite immense. I’m currently in school and volunteer for 4-5 hours each day on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I can provide potty breaks whenever needed, except during my volunteer work. Since these volunteer days are mandatory for my school program, we’ll have to find a way to accommodate them. Aside from these commitments, I’m mostly at home, except for occasional errands. I only allow one pooch per night, as per my previous experiences. Please be considerate of this, unless discussed otherwise, as it’s more for the comfort of both yours and mine. ☺️ I have a vast yard, spanning 2 acres. Approximately half of it is fenced in to provide a safe space for my two energetic huskies. One of them is particularly lazy, while the other is quite active. sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
