About: Animals were my first passion since I was very young and their welfare continues to be something I care deeply about. I studied veterinary medicine in college and have experience working in an animal hospital. Therefore I have been trained to administer any medications or special dietary requirements as your pet may need as them. I have been pet sitting for over 4 years now as well and love meeting new animals! I am a full time student so my schedule is not super flexible, but I am available all day Saturday - Monday, Fridays after 11 AM, and Tuesdays and Thursdays after 5 PM. I understand that pets thrive in their schedules and will do anything I can to fit into their routine as it is. It’s very important to me that you and your pet are as comfortable and relaxed as can be in your time apart, so I am very open to any requests regarding regular safety or care routines. I will take care of and attend to your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel loved.

“Christine filled in for our regular pet carer and did an excellent job. Pleasant and flexible, she covered care for our cats and fish (including pond fish) and a couple last-minute unexpected minor tasks. We would recommend her highly to anyone seeking a loving and competent pet carer.”

“Arabella could not have been more professional and pleasant! We were able to go away for the first time for a big family wedding, and having Arabella take care of our pet care needs was the only way we could do that. She was communicative and sent pictures of every visit. She gave us such peace of mind. We will definitely use her again!”

“Carrie did a great job watching my cat! She was very good at getting back to me fast, was on time, and sent cute pictures. Would definitely book her again the next time I’m out of town!”

“Jacqueline was an amazing sitter for my cat Julien. She is very reliable and attentive to my cats needs. She has been my go to sitter every time I needed someone to care for my cat because I know he’ll be in good hands with her.”

“Payton did great with our first visit! One of our cats has several medical issues so I was nervous about having a new sitter but I was comfortable after meeting Payton.”

“Abby was amazing and I will definitely ask her again in the future. I received regular photos and updates and came home to a spotless house. Seeing my normally skeptical cat getting more and more comfortable and relaxed in the photos I could see he was having a great time with Abby.”

I have watched dogs of all kinds: big and small, old and young, quiet and loud, crazy and calm! I am currently a student at WVU, and I work remotely. I only have two classes two days a week, so I will have plenty of time to spend with your pet to give them the love and attention they deserve! I will spend as much time at your home as you would like me to, ensuring I give your pets regular bathroom breaks, exercise, playtime, and love and attention.

About: I’ve watched dogs ever since I was 7 . Family dogs and friends dogs as well . I walked and picked up their waste I’ve fed and played with them. I have them baths and gave them any medication . About: I have been caring for pets for the past three years, earning the trust of friends, family, and clients who rely on me to keep their pets safe. During this time, I have been working with Wag!, and since I recently moved, I am starting to work here as well. I have completed over 400 walks through Wag!, along with several sittings and boardings, leading to many repeat clients and happy pups. I am comfortable working with pets of all sizes and temperaments. In addition to my client-based pet care, I also work at Animal Friends Shelter, where I learn new things about quality care, medical needs, and behavioral needs every day. When I'm not working, I enjoy hiking with my dog and continuing my education. I am a member of Pet Sitters International, from whom I have received my insurance. They offer monthly courses focused on quality in-home pet care. I am saving up for their professional pet sitter certification and hope to complete all their coursework soon. Additionally, I am a supporting member of the IAABC Foundation, which is led by animal behaviorists and trainers. I am following some of their continuing education courses, combined with my hours working at the animal shelter, to earn their credentials in shelter behavior. I currently work part time with a flexible schedule and can change my availability as needed. I have a two person home with my husband who can also help out (for boarding in my personal home) if I had to leave for an emergency I live in a large house with an unfenced backyard and multiple safe areas set up for pet care. “I was referred to Ashley by a coworker and have been very happy with her work! I have an anxious dog in training and was very worried about leaving her alone for the first time but Ashley made sure to calm my nerves with lots of updates and photos from her stay. She went above and beyond with making sure my dog was active while I was away and keeping up with her training. We're always excited to have her come by :)”
