I’ve spent years sitting and walking dogs for friends and family, so I definitely know every dog has their own personality and am happy to cater to them and take whatever time is needed to make them the most comfortable! Growing up there were always 3+ dogs in the house including puppies, seniors, and dogs with disabilities, so I’m equipped to handle all stages of life and different needs! I am patient, understanding, experienced, and ready to give your dog the most loving care! As a student with a part-time job my schedule is pretty flexible! For dogs, that means consistent walks, potty break, and feedings that match their normal schedule. For cats, regular feeding times, litter maintenance, and plenty of attention if they prefer it! About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.

About: My husband and I are both full time DNP students allowing us to be at home 6 days a week. We have cared for our 3 year old corgi together, but have both had family pets previously. We are skilled in medications administration and emergency care for your fur baby! This is a child free, cat free and smoke free home. Daisy, our corgi, loves to play and make new friends. We are currently full time DNP students that allows us to be at home full time Sunday through Thursday. We are awake from the hours of 6am until 10pm. Potty breaks are able to have every 2-4 hours. Feeding schedules are based on your fur baby’s needs, however our dog eats twice a day once at 6am and again at 6pm. In our neighborhood we have a walking path that we frequently walk our dog with a leash on. Our dog loves to play with other dogs. Our home is tidy and nothing is left on the floors or within reach that could harm an animal. Our house is not located near any high traffic roads. Our back yard is positioned against an open field. Unless your dog is highly trained with good recall skills, I will not let them run free in the backyard for fear of them running away. Dogs are family in our home!

I am flexible with scheduling and have no problem with last minute requests. Your dogs will have full access to my home on couches and beds if you choose. They will live as my Casey does… perhaps a bit spoiled. ;-). My aim is to have a dog friend or two over for a safe place where your pup can come and not be caged while you are gone. Casey needs the exercise but more than anything she wants friends! I am not looking to run a dog hotel, just a family environment with a loving atmosphere. Because of my job I cannot leave during the day for long periods of time so your pup will be by my side most of the time during my care. About: I have been around animals and taking care of them since I was a child. As a child my parents had cats that I would have to watch. As I got older both parents got dogs and I have had over 10 years experience with them. Currently I am a dog owner of 4 and a half years and couldn’t imagine life without him. I am currently enrolled in school online that does not have a set time to be in classes. This will allow me to attend to your pets at any moment they need it. I have a yard but not fence. This allows easy access to restroom breaks. I am happy to crate your dog if needed but always love to be able to have them roam. About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life, I foster and rescue cats, and volunteer. I’ve handled all pets from lizards to St Bernard’s. The most pets in a house I’ve ever had is 19! I am a full time student and work a part time job, but I’m flexible! I am willing to work with you to ensure your pet is taken care of! I’ve fostered 50+ cats with my family, and I grew up with big dogs. I have experience giving meds, and dealing with puppies and kittens.

I work full time Monday–Friday from 8–4, but I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend visits. I also have holidays and summers off, which gives me plenty of flexible time for daytime walks, drop-ins, and longer stays when needed. Safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I maintain a safe, structured environment by following your pet’s routine exactly as you outline it. In your home, I respect your space, secure doors and gates, and keep all food, treats, and cleaning supplies out of reach. I monitor pets closely during walks and use sturdy leashes and proper equipment. Communication is key, so I provide regular updates and photos to give you peace of mind.
About: I decided to join Rover because my friends always contact me to take care of their pets and they say I should make a job of it :) I’ve also been a personal assistant to two families, which included staying with and checking in on their pets on a daily basis and while they were away. I’ve had a few clients over the years where I’ve taken care of their dogs, cats, rabbits, goats and other farm animals. I’ve helped run a small farm as well so if you have horses or other animals that need looked after, I’m all in! I have a college degree and manage a restaurant now. About: I used to live and work on an animal sanctuary with all different kids of animals. I also worked as a professional dog walker and ive taken care of furry friends for many years. I have two part time day jobs (they equal about a normal work week), but I will have plenty of time outside of that to take care of your pets 😊 I will check in with your animals every few hours throughout the day (if that's what's requested) and can stay a bit to give your pet love and attention instead of just running in and out.

About: Hi Loving Furparents, My lifelong passion is interspecies communication, animal care & behavior, ecology, and environmental conservation. I have grown up communicating, training/learning, caretaking, and translating for animals my entire life, and I continue to follow my passion for animal care, rehabilitation, conservation, and helping others learn to listen and communicate with animals. I have recently lost my soul dog and partner of nearly 16 years to osteosarcoma. I have experience learning life lessons our senior friends teach us; to slow down, smell the wildflowers, enjoy the little things in life, lead with empathy, lend a helping hand to one another, and be grateful for the moment we have together. I have experience with caretaking during mobility issues for both animals, using help-em-up harnesses and wheelchairs. Additionally, I have awareness and understanding of training needs when the human is afflicted with chronic illness and mobility impairments, such as helping the animal to learn and be mindful of unsteadiness, fall prevention, etc. My current SDiT and I are working on counterbalance, DPT, crowd guarding, behavior interruptions, and some preliminary scent work. Additional Background of Experience; I grew up in the area with a variety of species throughout the years, from cats & dogs to horses, rodents, fish, chickens & guinea fowl to turtles, etc. This experience came with interspecies management, learning to hand-rear animals, helping animals learn core life skills, assess and rehab injury, hospice care, etc. Later, I completed a multidisciplinary degree from WVU with concentrations in Wildlife Management and Conservation Ecology. At WVU, I completed curriculum including a Service Dog Training course where the dog I worked with (Gretel) graduated the following year to become a certified therapy dog at Chestnut Ridge. Additional courses included Animal Behavior, Equine Hoof and Limb, Equine Assisted Therapy, and Exotic Animal Medicine, among others. Since graduating, I have compiled formal experience working with both domestic animals, wildlife and protection of their habitat. I had the privilege to work abroad in Botswana, Africa at game reserves where we were able to rehabilitate animals, provide game drives, supplemental feeding etc., and interned at Mokolodi Nature Reserve in Botswana, Africa, caring for animals in rehabilitation. I currently work full-time, which unfortunately limits my availability to primarily evenings and weekends at this time. Well-behaved, socialized dogs may be able to join during office work days. I am considering transitioning to full-time animal training, should it be feasible, which may allow for additional availability in the future. Additionally, I am navigating chronic illness after long covid through schedule modification and mindful movement during caretaking. Thank you for your understanding schedule limitations during this transition. Please communicate with me your dogs needs i.e.; whether your pet has separation anxiety, medical needs or food allergies, usual routines that make them feel safe, enrichment or husbandry that helps positively stimulate them mentally and emotionally, triggers to be mindful of/avoid, whether they have off leash recall or there are chase drive trigger concerns and they must stay leashed at all times, and anything else you feel is relevant so we may collaborate on their care plan to provide them the best support. I do have a large crate available for dogs that are most comfortable with crate training when it is necessary to leave them at home. Our geriatric cat Fluffy lives in the home with us (please alert me to dogs that have not been socialized with cats), there is a rescue parrot in the household, and I have a ~55 lb rescue and SDIT who is very friendly and loves having someone to play and run around in the yard with. She was a family member to my geriatric dog with mobility concerns before his passing, and she has experience with older dogs and cats.
About: I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. From taking care of my own pets to helping others out with their pets, I love providing the pet care an owner needs help with and a pet needs. Growing up, I lived across the street from my great aunt who bred and showed Great Danes. From a young age I remember sitting and watching out the front window for my aunt to come home so I could call her and ask if I could come help her with her Danes. When I was 10 years old, I started my own dog walking/pet sitting business and I have helped numerous families out with their pets while they were out on vacation or just needed help getting their pets outside for some exercise. After college, I worked at a local pet store and have gotten a lot of experience with dogs, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and birds. I also have helped care for horses over the years. I love hanging out with animals and spoiling them like I do with my own pets. I am comfortable taking care of multiple pets and fur babies of all sizes. I have a very flexible schedule. I am available for full time or part time work. I am currently a stay at home mom, so my availability is fairly free, but it varies from week to week. I am pretty flexible and willing to work with your schedule. I let my pets out multiple times a day and take them on walks. I love to take my pets out on hikes as well.
About: I’ve grown up arounds dogs and have owned atleast one dog for my whole life. I’ve had experience from chihuahuas to german shepherds. Pet care has become a daily thing with my fur babies. Along with taking care of my dogs, I have my goats, ducks, and chickens. I enjoy spending time with animals and make sure they receive the care, exercise, and companionship they need while their owners are away.
