About: I have 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry, including time working within boarding facilities and pet care. I am well equipped to handle emergency care as well as any additional veterinary care your pets might need. I am comfortable with all sizes of dogs and love them all, including bully breeds. All cats are welcome too! If you need dogs watched for a long period of time I am able to stay at your home where they are most comfortable. I work from home full time on a flexible schedule therefore I am able to adjust my schedule as needed to accommodate services each day. I take extra care to maintain the safety and wellbeing off all animals in my care. If yards are not fenced in, all dogs will be leashed before leaving the home. Cats will be put into carriers if leaving the home. I am always cautious entering and leaving homes as well.

She is gentle but firm with her expectations of the dog, and works with their breed and personality, basing the boundaries and limitations on every factor. She is energetic and fun and is equally capable of rainy day snuggles or long outings to the park to burn of energy. She is always reading their moods and is sensitive to their particular needs. Any dog or animal for that matter is in more than capable hands with her.”

We had a few rotations of sitters to cover the several weeks we were gone (family and a neighbor), and Valerie was definitely the most experienced of them all. Our one cat takes a pill daily, and while he takes it just fine for his mom, he wasn't taking it for the sitters. Valerie came up with safe, creative ways to get him to take his pill. She also left wonderfully detailed check-in notes and was very communicative. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and other pets since I was 10! It is so fun to help care for animals while I am in school. Will be at work during most days but able to take care before/after! Will also have more free time in the upcoming months while studying for tests. Schedule will be notably more flexible then. I typically prefer to care for animals in their own home! I love to keep as similar as a routine as possible to their normal experience.
