About: I have spent many overnights at homes while providing pet care. The durations of these stays have been up to a week. I do very well with following clear directions for feeding, medications, as well as other pet care needs. This includes affection and playing— I absolutely love dogs and cats! I am a teacher, which of course is a very busy job. However, I do not work over the summer, which means I have lots of flexibility in these months. I am also available during most weekends! I care for pets in my clients’ homes by following instructions regarding feeding, medications, going outside, as well as anything else that may be necessary! When owners are gone, I recognize it is best for the pets to keep their routines as consistent as possible! I respect any rules clients may have for their pets (e.g. where around they house they are allowed, any dietary limitations, and any necessary precautions to take so that the pets stay safe!)

Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
