“Thank you Kathy" we really appreciate the care and attention you gave to Patch. I WILL DEFINITELY BE CALLING YOU AGAIN IN THE FUTURE. I love the way you are with him and can't thank you enough for being the perfect dogsitter..”

“Susan is very attentive to our puppy, and I never worry about him. I love the photos that we receive, however I know that without the photos he is being cared for very well.”

“We’re really happy with Debra and how she handled everything for our dog while we were out of town. We arranged for a meetup before the stay to ensure this would be a good match. When I dropped off our dog there was an introduction to the other pets in her home so our pup could get acclimated. While we were away we received daily updates with photos and it looked like our pup was having a great time. Thanks for taking good care and we look forward to scheduling with you again!”

“My dog, Lola, enjoyed Thanksgiving week with Samantha and I’ve already booked the Christmas holiday week for her. That’s high praise for Samantha’s positive style & work ethics. ***** 5 stars!”

“Bri I wanna thank you so much for your boarding service! You are God sent. You loved on my baby, kept me informed, sent pictures and treated him like your own. You took great care of my Brawny! I am looking forward to booking with you again! I appreciate you!!!”

“Tara and Peter have an amazing home and fenced yard - our dogs loved their time with them ! This is a super friendly family and took excellent care of our sweet pups while we were out of town! We highly recommend and would be lucky to have them watch our dogs again !!”

“Our pup had such a great time with Anna! She did such a great job and sent us daily updates and pictures. We will definitely use Anna again and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, happy place for their furry friends.”

“Takia hosted my sheepadoodle during some late planned holiday travel. She was very accommodating as we feed a raw diet to my dog, and her communication and updates were great during my time away.”

“Great communication, sent me pictures and updates. My dog is still quite high energy and I've had less than stellar experiences at facilities. When I brought her home I could tell she'd been taken care of and was her regular self.”

“First, Wendy lives close, so that helps. Oreo was happy to go to her home and felt comfortable. He was well taken care of, and I would ask Wendy in the future, should the need arise, to watch Oreo.”

“Lorie is terrific! The dogs were well cared for and safe in her home and fenced yard. We felt welcomed upon arrival and the dogs were ready for us with their things packed for departure.”

“Colleen was so great with our dog while we were away! She provided nice updates throughout the trip and was very thorough in collecting information to provide the best care for our dog. 5-star dog sitter!”

“We had to drop off our dog Ollie due to a family wedding! Austin was a great communicator and was very flexible with us during the wedding week. Ollie seemed to have a very good time with his dogs as well! Thank you so much!”

“Thank you for the tender care you took of our girl. Because of caring ppl such as yourself families can take the trip when they are unable to take their fur babies an have peace of mind about the care their babies are receiving....You Rock ! Thank you!!!”

“This was our third time having our Maltese boarding at Beth's place. Beth was a great host as usual. She responded fast on Rover and shared lovely photos of our dog during the stay. We are very thankful for having Beth as our host and would recommend her for sure.”

“Summer was amazing with my dog! She definitely cared for him like he was her own. She sent lots of pictures and videos showing what a good time he was having! I would definitely recommend her! Will definitely book with her for my upcoming summer vacation!”

“Kyle and his partner were great with our dog over a long holiday weekend! It was our first time with Kyle, and he listened to us about all our dog's quirks and needs. We got frequent updates from him and photos! Our dog got multiple walks every day, lots of couch cuddles, and all of our concerns were addressed! We will definitely be using Kyles services again!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 8 years old. At that time, we got a standard poodle puppy (Inspector Gadget) who I fed, walked, played with, and let out before/after school everyday. When he was about 3, we also got a springer spaniel (Sookie) from the shelter who was an absolute angel, and mine and Gadget’s best friend. I always made sure they had what they needed and felt loved! I took care of Gadget until he sadly passed at the age of 14, and Sookie until she passed at the age of 10, so I have experience with elderly dogs as well. My mom recently got a golden retriever puppy who I would visit to walk, feed, and play with occasionally while she is at work. I also have experience with birds and cats. I am currently working as a resident at one of the local hospitals, so my schedule is variable, but by booking me you know that you will get a trusted professional to care for your pets. I am free every other weekend to care for pets, and am generally free in the evenings of weekdays. I have no problem showing any pet love, regardless of size or breed, and will make sure they get the attention and love they need! I am used to big and mid-sized dogs since that’s what I grew up with, so walking large dogs will not be a problem. I am familiar with standard training practices for dogs as well and will adhere to any specific instructions.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Orange
This was my first time leaving my dog, Wendy, with a Rover sitter, and the Mihaly family went above and beyond to welcome her to their home. I could tell Wendy had a wonderful time because she looked so happy in the photos! They sent pictures and texted every day. I would definitely return again if I’m out of town.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
