About: I truly love animals, my favorite being dogs. i am with dogs every day all day.I have lots of experience with raising puppies and caring for dogs of many sizes and temperaments. I have owned snakes, lizards, turtles, fish;etc. so I also have experience with small animal care along with house sitting. Though I am not certified I train dogs for fun. (Basic obedience & tricks) I have even been told by a professional that I am really good at training dogs. I am a certified dog groomer. Some may say that I am a great bather and my grooms are neat. After working at an animal hospital for 2yrs I know a thing or two about pet care & what to do in an emergency so no worries your pets are completely safe in my care. Pet care is my life from the time that i wake up from the time i lay my head. i can do this in my sleep. (: in my home every dog is given the same amount of love. i do not have a fenced in yard however i take leash safety very seriously. we walk daily and i have never had a dog escape. i have tie out long enough to go where they'd like within the safe zone. we also have play time within my spacious finished basement that also has a fully stocked mini grooming salon on the opposite side. as far as drop ins in the clients home whatever care sheet you provide is what will be followed to the T.
“My husband and so were so pleased with all Austin did for our Little Lewey. He is our first dog. Lewey is a puppy and almost 5 months old and we went out of town for three days. Needless to say, I was a bit nervous. Lewey liked Austin the second he saw him for the Meet and Greet. Lewey had an amazing time with Austin’s two beautiful dogs. “Summer was an absolutely wonderful sitter for Tycho and Kepler! They stayed with her for 5 days and 4 nights, and we felt completely at ease the entire time. She sent multiple photos each day and kept us updated, which we really appreciated. It was clear from the start that Summer took the time to read our dogs’ Rover profiles. She came prepared with thoughtful questions at drop-off and even reached out when Kepler started chewing on a deer antler, just to double-check with us. That level of attentiveness meant a lot. They do not allow dogs (unless they are service dogs) into the hall of Fame, so as a Rover sitter myself, I looked for a sitter here. I found Pam and she was great! When a couple of years ago we lost our senior family dog, I started volunteering with a local rescue and have fostered 20+ puppies over the past few years. I have a flexible schedule and work from home Mondays and Fridays, so those days are perfect for midday walks or potty breaks — I can easily fit your pup into my schedule without rushing. On weekends, I’m open to house sitting or home visits, giving your pet consistent, attentive care while you’re away. I don’t board pets at my own home, so all care happens at your house, keeping your pet in their familiar, comfortable environment. During home visits or house sits, I follow your routines closely for feeding, walks, and medication, and I’m experienced with special and elder pet needs. I treat your home and pet with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.
About: I lead a very active lifestyle, more than happy to provide exercise for the dogs, i have a very flexible schedule, and i love playing with the pups! About: I have a variety of pet experience. Most notably with dogs, I have fostered over 13 dogs in the last several years through Kane's Mission. I am sure to give your dog personalized attention and love and care they deserve! We live in a great walkable community in Shaker Heights. We are happy to take your dog on walks and visits to the park, so they can have a nice vacation too! I can currently adapt to most pet care schedules. Austin sent us videos and pictures that kept us updated, and it was so appreciated as it helped to calm me and know Lewey was in good hands.
