About: Not only do I have 10 years of experience of pet sitting, I have experience working with shelter dogs. I’ve been with Placer SPCA as a volunteer for many years. I work with fearful, excitable, shy and even reactive dogs on a weekly basis. I make sure to give them the best care I can provide. I have plenty of free time and my shelter schedule is very flexible! I spend most of my time caring for pets or working with animals. I am someone that you can contact last minute for pet sitting! About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are home a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

My boarding setup includes a separate 2-bedroom guest house, completely separate from my own pets and toddler in the main house. For safety and comfort, dogs from different families sleep in separate bedrooms with the doors closed. Dogs from the same family may stay together if preferred. Dogs also enjoy supervised outdoor time in our yard during the day. For drop-in visits, I provide potty breaks, fresh food and water, playtime and companionship, basic cleanup, and photos and updates after every visit. About: I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember! My family has had many pets through the years, family dogs that we’ve cared for into old age, and dogs we have helped rehome! Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
