“Amanda was very gracious towards our very naughty puppy. Apparently, some of the nervous behaviors that we don’t see at home came out with an unholy flourish at Amanda‘s home. But I appreciate the fact that Amanda gave us a full and honest report (which is helpful for us to gauge the areas he still needs significant training) and was very kind about the negatives. The most important thing, though, was that he settled down in the car almost immediately. Our dog is a very nervous dog, so if he has had a rough time at a dog sitter, we know right away because he whines and whimpers all the way home. After leaving Amanda‘s house, he winded for about 60 seconds and then went to sleep. Hallelujah! Thank you, Amanda, for the top quality care you have given to our very low quality puppy. I am especially grateful that Amanda was willing to take the puppy at the last minute, because my husband had a hospital procedure and I had completely forgotten about making arrangements for the dog. What a godsend Amanda has been.”

About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.

Pet sitting for family, friends, and other pet owners I have cared for pets with a variety of personalities routines, and individual needs. I am responsible, dependable, and attentive to detail, whether it’s following feeding schedules, going on walks, providing exercise and playtime, or simply making sure each pet feels safe and comfortable. I love, giving pets plenty of attention, companionship, and, of course, lots of love and cuddles! Most importantly, I want every pet to feel happy and cared for while giving their owners peace of mind, knowing their fur baby is in loving and trustworthy hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows me to easily fit pet care into my daily and weekly routine. I am available for regular walks, drop in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week. I’m also available for boarding on the weekends. Which allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention and care in a comfortable environment. I live in an apartment, but I love being active and spending time outdoors, so taking dogs on walks is one of my favorite parts of pet care. When caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, where they can feel relaxed and at home. I make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I enjoy going on walks, playing with toys, giving belly, rubs and cuddles, and making sure they are never feeling lonely or bored. When caring for pets in a client‘s home, I make it a prior to follow their normal routine as close as possible. I’m happy to follow specific feeding schedules, provide freshwater, take dogs on walks, clean up after them, and give them plenty of playtime and companionship. I also understand that every pet is different so I take time to learn their personality, preferences, and any special instructions from their owner. My goal is to make each pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and pets since as long as I can remember, whether that be my own or my friends and family! I personally have a dog of 14, with a few health issues (including joint issues and blindnesss) so I’m very comfortable and understands with other dogs with those issues, and how to handle and take care of them well! With also having dogs my whole life I have experience some experience puppies, and while I’m not trained myself, I do remember some tips and tricks for starting their training! I’m currently only in school for a week days a week, so I have plenty of time to drop in and play with your dogs, or take them in a long walk to tire them out ! I have sat dogs with needs like kennels, and special food times and needs, so I’m understanding with their routines and how they spend time when I’m not with them.
About: My experience growing up with dogs, cats, and various farm animals helped me develop the knowledge and skills required to take care of a wide range of animals. I've helped raise (and train) puppies and kittens as well seen to their needs as elderly pets. I love animals in any phase of life and am desperately missing having one of my own due to housing restrictions. I would love to snuggle and play with cats, dogs, or any creature in between :) I work at a gymnastics facility in Roseville Mon-Fri 12-8 but am otherwise available for animal care. I currently pet sit for several animals in the Auburn area including a horse, goats, and chickens. The safety and well-being of your pets is my top-priority. As a pet owner for most of my life, I understand how stressful it can be to trust someone with your animals; but I promise to take care of them to the utmost of my ability. It is my goal for you to return to your pets being as happy, healthy, and cared for as they were when you last saw them.

About: I have worked at a doggy day care that serviced over a 100 dogs and 30 cats at a time. As a kennel tech, I took care of the animals. I played with them, gave them enrichment, training, ect. I have 1 year experience selling pet food. I learned a lot about dog and cat diets and food sources. Currently i'm available 24/7. This is what I do full time. So the animal will have 24/7 attention. Special circumstances will apply, weekend adventures or what not. Anytime is negotiable. Every animal will be treated as my own. Dogs will sleep in the house. We have 1 acre to run around on in the day. I'll be here all day.

About: I have cared for and loved animals since I was a little girl. I was raised in a house with dogs of all types and have continued to have them in my life. I have two rescues, a 6-lb sweet female chihuahua and a 30-lb shy male terrier mix, that love to be around other dogs but who also are submissive to and respect other dogs’ needs for their own space. Having been a zookeeper and vet tech, I have worked on training various critters, as well as cared for elderly animals that need special attention or medications. I work from home with my husband full time and we are always ready for fur baby snuggles on our couch and bed. We also live near a canal and trails, so dog walks are very frequent in our home. Because we live farther away, we are also willing to come do pickups to keep you from having to drive to us, but we understand completely wanting to see where your pups are staying. I work from home nearly full time except Tuesdays, but my husband is home full time everyday. I am an early riser and can do early walks/pickup/potty breaks. As we are working on house projects due to this being a new and first home purchase, we are gone a ton on the weekends too. If I am staying at your home, I can arrange to be there constantly because my husband is home to care for my pups. I don’t have a fenced yard, but live very close to a dog park that is fenced. I also have a canal trail right off my driveway and we walk our two dogs on it all the time. My two babies are extremely sweet and friendly with other dogs. I am an extremely tidy and organized person, so whether your pup stays with me or I come to your home, I can guarantee I will always leave things as good or better than I found them. Also, if you have any last-minute travel issues, I can almost always adapt to host longer to make sure you don’t have to stress about what will happen to your pup.
