About: I am very proud to be a "fear free handler". That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. I promise your animal will be cared for deeply while in my care. My passion has always been working with animals, providing them with the care and respect they deserve and I have extensive experience in the field. I’ve worked in horse barns, animal shelters, and dog boarding facilities, and I’m skilled in administering all types of medications, including insulin. Whether it’s feral cats or reactive dogs, I have the patience and expertise to help them adjust and thrive, including building trust with new people. I understand how intimidating change can be for animals, and I’m dedicated to making those transitions as smooth as possible. I’ve dedicated countless unpaid hours to caring for animals, driven solely by my love and commitment to their well-being. When you entrust me with your pet, I promise to care for them as if they were my own, providing compassion, patience, and unwavering dedication in every situation. I am pretty open with my schedule. I will love your babies like my own. I do work mon-thurs 3-9pm and Saturday 11-4. I am a perfectionist. If you tell me you want something done in a specific way or at a certain time, please let me know!! I'd be more than happy to jump through hoops to give your baby(s) what they need when and how they need it. I will put your animal above everything else, that's what I'm paid for and that's what I love doing.
“Erin was kind enough to make time to meet my 2 dogs prior to her drop in. Both of my dogs immediately took to her and will definitely be booking visits with her again. Thank you, Erin!”

“Angela did a fantastic job watching our dogs while we were away! The dogs felt comfortable and trusted her completely. It was such a relief to travel knowing they were in great hands. We will definitely be booking her again!”

About: I've had dogs of all sizes, since the 90s. I dog sit for friends and family in my fenced yard while their away and look forward to treat your pet like family as well. I'm conveniently located only 2 miles from Lambeau field and the airport and I'm happy to spoil your pet while your away. I have a flexible work schedule that allows me to work from home so I can be present for your pet and give them the love and attention they deserve. For the first time in a long time I have an empty house with a fenced yard. Plenty of space to run in a fenced in yard and lots of attention for your fur baby!
“Jeanne took excellent care of my cats! She watched my cats shortly after I moved so they were still stressed in their new, unfamiliar environment, but they were comfortable with her and even came out to play!”
“Ella responded quickly to my service request and set up the meet and greet so we could connect on the details of Maisy care. I appreciated Ella’s confidence about caring for Maisy, she asked questions to be sure she understood the details I was sharing. I will be reaching out again when I need Maisy care!”

“Cassandra was fantastic! She stopped by the week before for a meet-and-greet and immediately sat on the floor to let our three dogs meet her. They took to her immediately. She provided lots of pictures and information when she came over, so we knew just how the dogs were. Highly recommended!”

“Leanna was amazing and attentive at taking care of our precious fur babies. She helped us out literally last minute and sent the cutest pictures at each visit! She was respectful of our home and to our dogs and we will be recommending her over and over again!!! Thank you so much Leanna!”

About: I have grown up with 1-2 dogs since I was 5 years old and helped my parents train our second dog when I was 11. I love watching my parents dogs whenever they need and I have two dogs of my own that are my fur babies. I am a nurse who works 3 days a week and every third weekend so I usually have most of the week available. I love dogs and would really enjoy this experience in my free time. I have a fenced in yard and have two dogs of my own. I also have a kennel if needed, and can section off parts of the house with dog gates.
About: I have two French Bulldogs, Louie and Rufus and often dog sit for my siblings. I enjoy being outside and taking dogs for a walk. Retired, which leaves me with lots of free time. I enjoy spending time with my two dogs, Louie and Rufus and my 8 year old grandson. I will happily walk your dog(s) and/or drop in for a play date. I care deeply for dogs and am safe and responsible at all times.
About: I've been taking care of animals since I was very young. Fur babies seem to seek me out, whether it is in nature or encounters on the street; you can catch me waving at animals before humans (lol). I've had dogs, cats, a horse, and bunnies off and on throughout my life. I just lost my bunny George, so finding Rover is the perfect opportunity to get some fur baby time in to help mourn my little love 🥲 Im excited to love on your babies if you'll have me 🫶 I'm currently very flexible with my time as I make my own hours. I would like to fill my time with fur babies as much as possible :) I will follow any instruction you have regarding your home and your furry companions. Safety and trust are important to me and I want to make sure you know your animals are loved by me too.
“Noah was amazing with my foster pup- Daisy! She came from a tough situation and Noah took great care of her while we were away. Would definitely recommend and rebook again!”

“I work night shifts and Cooper was able to accommodate our schedule to let Rosie out late at night! He was so gentle and friendly with her, and was really easy to communicate with. Will definitely be reaching out when we need a walker again!”
“Carly did a great job looking after Murphy. Murphy had orthopedic surgery in February and now possibly another surgery to the other leg. She is on pain medications to keep her pain controlled and calm. Carly was on time twice a day to feed and medicate Murphy for pain and then stayed 30 minutes for ear rubs / reassurance. Carly also notified me that some boards were damaged on my back fence when a storm rolled through. I was able to get someone to quickly repair the fence while I was still out of town. I'm a first time user of Rover and will definitely use it again! Thanks!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a child, and I’ve always had them in my life! I have been relied on to give medications, board pets, and take them on walks. Dogs bring me so much joy and I will provide the best care possible! I currently work as a nurse 3x a week, and will be able to provide pet care on my other 4 days off when available. My schedule varies each week, but I am open for booking on any of my days off! I will walk into my clients home slowly and be sure to gain the pet’s trust before approaching. I am active and will be able to provide long walks when necessary!
“Our dogs took to Amme right away, and so did we! She is easy-going, but also mature and reliable. She has been easy to reach and communicates before and after the visit. I recommend her!”

About: I’ve had dogs ever since I was born ranging from large dogs to small dogs. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to care, walk, and watch their animals. I work full time during the week, but I have weekends and evenings to care for your pups! I love to fill my spare time with loving animals. When I do drop-ins or walks, I treat your dog like I would my own—making sure they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. I’d love to hear any tips or quirks about your pup so I can give them the best possible experience and meet their individual needs.
“Nora is super responsive and respectful. She instantly connected with my dog when they met for the first time. And she is very detailed in her notes. She was even kind enough to bring my garbage bin back in on a particularly windy day.”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
