Throughout her time with them, she maintained excellent communication, providing regular updates and pictures. Our home was left spotless, and she followed all our instructions perfectly regarding feeding and potty breaks. Most importantly, our dogs absolutely adored her. About: Volunteering at shelters and owning an array of pets throughout my life helps me understand fully how to care for a creature. I've never turned away an animal and have worked with nursing birds, rodents, bunnies, and kittens back to health after rescuing them. I also love working with exotic pets like amphibians or reptiles, but mainly I board and walk dogs! I'm very good at reading body language and training stubborn dogs, and working with animals full time would be a dream career. Right now I'm studying premedicine / ecology at UA and taking care of animals over the summers to save money for school! Going to Albany on the 24th! Until then I can board, but afterwards I'm switching my location and removing boarding from my services as I'll be on campus. Large yard with electric fence and 2 extra collars for a medium dog. Home with 3 accessible stories, dog food, treats, litter box, toys and plenty of enrichment. Dog beds and human beds for sleeping, large safe neighborhood for walks!!

When I booked her for four-days, then had to cancel due to a change in circumstances, she immediately responded and helped process the refund. The one day that she took our dogs out for a walk, she walked them for a mile, ensured they had food and water, and she even helped mop up their accidents. When we came home to greet our dogs, they were much calmer than normal. I believe this is due to the time, attention, and care that Averi put into her duties. If we ever need a dog-walker, again, in the future, we will consider Averi first!”

About: Hi, my name is Micayla, and I love animals! I have owned dogs for 7 years, but worked with them for much longer. I currently have a super quirky Cavalier puppy named Sadie Pumpkin Waffles. We have completely obedience training, so I know how to keep control of your dog while on a leash, and how to give/reinforce basic cues. I believe we will have a lot of fun while hanging out! My schedule is quite flexible, as I currently work freelance. I can usually accommodate last minute bookings, however I do need to be home to tend to my own dog at least every 8hrs. While conducting drop-in visits, your dogs will get plenty of play time, pets, and snuggles. (And hopefully treats!) They will be let out for potty breaks, and/or taken on walks, then brought inside so that they can continue on with their day.

About: I’ve lived and taken care of dogs and cats my whole life and have had multiple temporary dog sitting jobs. Jobs including; walking, feeding, bathing, etc. I’m working part time but am free many days of the week. I’m available mostly in the afternoon and night hours. If needed, I am able to work around some mornings. I have a fenced in yard in which my dogs run freely around. My clients dogs will be well cared of under my supervision and I will listen to any instructions necessary.

About: I’ve had a love for dogs and cats my entire life. I’ve grown up with them and have taken care of them for as long as i can remember. I’ve taken care of dogs as little as a Pomeranian and as big as a Cane Corso mix. my schedule is very open and i have reliable transportation as well as a license. I’m able to work anytime of the day. whatever works for you!! I care for my pets by attending to their daily needs such as outside playtime, water and food, cleaning up after them when needed and giving one of my dogs his allergy meds every morning.

About: I have 8 years of experience working with animals and 4 years as a Licensed Veterinary Technician, I am willing to do medications, take care of special needs animals and some training. I'm currently working part time as a Licensed Vet Tech, in my free time I would love to spend more time with the fur babies! Currently I don't offer caring for pets in my home because we have a dog aggressive dog in the house. I would love to come to your house to care for your furry friend, they are more comfortable at home anyway!

“Amber my dog sitter is a life saver!!! I CAME DOWN WITH ALMOST DEPRESSION THIS MORNING. Yesterday we went to dinner at my mom's so I fed Mr Stinky his dinner in her backyard. My baby Napoleon was there too, he's 9 and that dog is an angel. I wish he would find a female and have puppies so we could keep more Napoleons. Well Mr Stinky got angry at Napoleon for coming really close to his dinner and attacked him. Napoleon is the sweetest dog. He didn't deserve that. He didn't even bark when Charlemagne attacked him. He got back up like nothing happened. I was so upset but had compassion on my naughty dog. Something is going on with him and I don't know what because I don't speak dog. I have my theories. He's upset with me basically. What else could it be? He's not eating. He doesn't touch his food when Charlemagne is only about food. He's a vacuum when he sees food. He swallows only! So my mom texts me at work that Charlemagne scratched Napoleon's eye yesterday and that it was bleeding. I was so SAD. Napoleon is so sweet Charlemagne is so embarrassing. What a monster. I'm always punishing him and yelling at him when he runs away from me. He terrorizes cats or people. He runs and there is no way I can stop that dog or hold the leash tighter. But this time that he attacked Napoleon I was softer on him. I didn't yell. I am so worried that Charlemagne is stressed out and acting poorly. I punish him by putting him in my bedroom or tying him outside. Well now he's rebelling. He doesn't like to be punished. Especially since his dog sitter when he is naughty, doesn't punish him. So he thinks I should be just like Amber! She just loves him and forgives him and thinks he's cute and that's it. He has terrorized her house but she just calls him, "silly." So she's a softie with my black charmer. He ate a whole pizza today, probably her husband's lunch, I was so embarrassed. And then went and pooped and peed in her house. Naughty!!!! I told Amber to ground him! So my dog is having a mental break down and I'm getting all these texts at work, from my mom and the sitter!! That dog is going to cause my death!!!!! I worry and worry and my job already sucks he gives me a horrible day. But I called Amber and she was cheery and calm as always. Her voice as if nothing is happening. She called him silly again. She is so sweet. Not even a little bit angry. She is THE BEST DOG SITTER IN THE WORLD. And she always tells me Charlemagne will be ok. Everything's going to be fine. All I want to do is sell him!! And get a golden retriever! Just kidding😀 I'd give him to Amber she loves him. And her husband too! He loves my monster baby dog. They are the best thing that ever happened to Charlemagne and I. The best!!! And now she's going to Virginia. And Wyatt, her husband, will be kind enough to watch him for me😀 Amber will be gone a whole month!!! She will be missed. With her 2 beautiful little boys. I probably call Amber more than all her other dog owners. She watches so many dogs, not just Charlemagne. But I'm probably the one that gives her most headaches!! Because I only worry about Charlemagne. I should change my last name to Audrey Worry. Amber cheers me up and tells me not to give Charlemagne away! No I couldn't. I love him so much I can't imagine my life without him and I've only had him for 6 months. Thank God for Amber, cannot be more grateful. That lady is going straight to heaven when she dies. Amber loves dogs. It's amazing how much she loves the dogs she takes care of! She cries when they leave her. Charlemagne and I have been with her the longest. We have seniority! About: I am excited to join Rover because of my compassion for animals and their safety. I have been around animals my entire life and currently run a horse boarding facility and feral cat rescue! The health and safety of your animals is my top priority, and so is treating them with the kindness that I would want my own animals to be treated with. I am comfortable with dogs or all ages, and I am very attentive to puppies and kittens and elderly animals in need of medications or therapies. My hours surrounding my part time job, which is 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon, is very flexible. I am confident I can accommodate nearly every time or day and length of stay. In a client's home I will care for the pets however I am instructed. However, I will never allow an animal to free roam or allow the animal to be turned out in a fenced in area that I find unsuitable, regardless of instruction, as I do not want to be responsible for the animal's escape.
