About: I love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens. You name it, we probably had it! I’ve fostered a senior dog and babysat my sister’s puppy, but I’m just not ready to commit to getting a pup of my own. I’m currently studying for a professional exam for my career. I have the opportunity to go over and let your pets out at any time :) I can easily crate your pet! I’m relative strong and can move your pet around when needed although I prefer for them to move themselves of course! It’s not a problem if you have a stubborn pet though!

About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

About: Hello! I am new to this app, but I have taken care of dogs since I was 16 (3 years) in all forms: dropping in (x) times a day into owner’s home, bringing dog to my home (with my mom and dad that love dogs too!), staying in owner’s home, and dog walking. I am new to this app! I go to college at University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I have a flexible schedule and want to spend my free-time doing what I love- being with dogs! I live in a pet-friendly apartment right off the interstate- so I am an easy commute away from all directions in the Knoxville vicinity. I have a cavalier back at my home (Nashville), Scout, who is extremely gentle, quiet, and can’t get enough of being around other dogs.

About: I have been a foster dog parent in the past and a volunteer at Young Williams. I have experience with all kinds of different dogs! I am a part-time babysitter (of human babies), which means I am home a lot of the time and therefore have time to love on your (fur) babies. I do as much as I can to accommodate and make your dog comfortable. I do have senior-ish dogs of my own, so it is important to me that our pets get along. Chill dogs will work best for my environment. I typically will require a meet and greet between our dogs before I board!

About: We have been dog parents for the past 6 years to our corgi Aspen, our terrier/collie mix Abby, and our blue heeler mix Kairi. We have experience managing pet medications, and have trained all of our pups on leash walking, sit, lay down, and other special tricks (go to your bed, shake, roll over). Leah currently works part time and creates her own work schedule, and Keoni is a nurse who works up to 3 days a week. We have plenty of time to care for your pet throughout the week! We have a newly fenced yard, perfect for playtime with the pups. We are able to provide care in your home as well. We will walk, play with, feed, and follow all care instructions in order to provide the best care to your fur child

About: I have had pets my entire life!!! From puppies and kittens to older dogs, I have been around a ton of animals! I have also worked with aggressive and shy dogs too! I am currently a student, so I have lots of breaks during the day in between classes! I do remote work as well so my schedule is pretty open! I have an apartment and plenty of space to take care of a dog. I am great with walking dogs and know a lot of parks and spots for dogs to play in the area!

I understand how worrisome it could be to leave your dogs with a stranger, but my goal is keep them in the best hands while you’re away. I adapt and work well with dogs of all kinds, all sizes, and all ages, and will make sure they will enjoy their time away from home. My dog lived to 16 years old so I have a special place in my heart for senior dogs! I’m a medical student that spends a lot of time studying and working at home so I’ll always be around to keep your dog company! I would care for your pet in any way you wish/prefer! About: I grew up with dogs for the first 19 years of my life. I fed, bathed, walked, let out, groomed (not very pretty but functional), and gave medication to my family’s dogs. I then rescued my sweet kitty, who I have owned for three years. I am her only caretaker, so know everything necessary to care for a cat. I worked at a veterinary clinic for a summer so have truly seen it all when it comes to animal care. I worked as a dog walker for a summer as well, and assisted with grooming this dog as well as overall basic care. I have completed an undergraduate degree in animal studies and am continuing on to veterinary school, so I have tons of knowledge to put to good use! Overall, these qualifications make me an excellent caretaker for your loved ones! I am currently working a part time job, 10 hours a week, so I have more than enough time to hang out with your loved ones! I will begin vet school the third week of August. I will then be at school usually 8-12, and sometimes 8-5. I can return to your house during my lunch break around noon if needed. I care for the pets in a client’s home with a holistic approach. I ask specific questions to make sure I understand the animal’s needs and routine before or upon arriving.
