About: Hi, I enjoy all ages of dogs and cats. I have had many, many dogs and cats growing up raising them from newborn puppies or kittens all the way into their senior years. I am well experienced in training puppies, playing with active cats/dogs and caring for sick or aged pets as well. I have also volunteered for many rescue organizations, most recently Meriden Humane Society. The joy animals bring me, far surpasses any other career I've had throughout the years. I currently am transitioning into part-time retirement of running my own HVAC company and I would like to start doing what I enjoy more; caring for animals(and plants!). She could be reactive toward other dogs while on leash, so I became very comfortable handling strong dogs, staying calm in challenging situations, and maintaining control even when she was pulling. I am comfortable your dog or dogs in any environment. I have taken care of dogs that used special harness’ or prong collars so I know how to work those if needed. About: I’ve had a dog since I was 6 years old, ranging in all different sizes. I find it imperative to treat all dogs as if they were my own. I’m currently a full-time fourth grade teacher who is looking for a part-time job during the week days, weekends and whenever I have a holiday break. Currently I am available for drop in visits or dog walking during the week anytime. I am also free for both of these services at anytime during certain weekends.
