About: Being a pet-sitter isn't just a way for me to make money. It's a way of life that aligns with who I am. I've always felt most at peace around animals. Growing up with pets they were more than just companions. They were part of the family. So the idea that I can combine that love for animals with something I do for work is truly fulfilling. I spent 10 beautiful, years with my partner in crime, a Great Dane named Padmé. Being a bigger dog, I feel confident handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Other than volunteering at the Young-Williams Animal Shelter where I've been trained in canine handling, this is my primary job. I am currently available Monday through Sunday starting as early as 6am until 8 pm. I am flexible and can work within your schedule. I provide a calm and quiet introduction to allow your pet to become acclimated to my presence. On walks, I allow pups ample time to sniff and explore their environment on the walk.

About: I have worked at a boarding kennel for the past three years and have been the main caretaker for my own two dogs and cat for the past ten. I have been a veterinary clinic assistant for the past year and have also had experience with exotic animals abroad. I am a full time student at UTK and participate in army ROTC, however I can be flexible and make time, especially on the weekends. I can care for pets in any situation, kenneled or not. I’m comfortable with basic training for cats and dogs, and I’ve given medications in all forms—from pills and liquids to ear and eye drops. Every pet is different, and I try to treat each one like they’re my own. While I do work full-time, I have a flexible schedule throughout the week that allows me to offer drop-in visits and walks at various times during the day. I make it a priority to build pet care into my routine, and I’m happy to coordinate timing that works best for you and your pet’s needs. When I care for pets in their own space, I prioritize consistency and comfort. I stick closely to your routines—walks, feeding, meds, crate time, or play. I keep the home tidy and respect your space as if it were my own. I’ll also keep you updated with regular check-ins, photos, and notes so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing.

About: I am a current veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where I am pursuing companion animal medicine. I have spent the past 2 years working in a vet clinic, where a majority of my experience has been working with cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. I am new to Rover, but I have 10+ years of experience pet sitting and taking care of others’ fur babies! I am a full time veterinary student, typically at school 8 am - 5 pm, Monday through Friday. I can offer drop in visits a couple of times during weekdays, but I am available to spend more time with your pets on the weekends. I am unable to care for pets in my home, but I am more than happy to commute to take care of your pet(s) at your home. I strive to make your pet(s) feel loved and comfortable while you’re gone by playing and loving on them, taking them for walks, administering medications if needed, etc.

About: I've taken care of my house dog since he was a puppy. I've also watched after neighborhood pets (including senior dogs and cats) for 2 years! I am working part time and will be in school so I have plenty of time to take care of your pets as long as I have a couple days notice :) I love playing with pets as well as cuddling or even just keeping them company (pets that don't like to play). I will also follow your pet care instructions as closely as possible!

About: I’ve been a life-long pet owner, caring for dogs, horses, cats, and even chickens! I have experience working with all kinds of dogs, from nervous rescues to seniors who need a bit more attention. I work part time at a dog grooming salon. I try to pick up jobs between part time hours or collage classes during the school year. I’m only strictly unavailable between 10 pm and 6 am. I am more than happy to adhere to any accommodations or requests from my clients for any service! I highly value respecting the client’s pet and property.

About: I love animals! I grew up on a farm with dogs, cats, horses, cows, chickens. You name it, we probably had it! I’ve fostered a senior dog and babysat my sister’s puppy, but I’m just not ready to commit to getting a pup of my own. I’m currently studying for a professional exam for my career. I have the opportunity to go over and let your pets out at any time :) I can easily crate your pet! I’m relative strong and can move your pet around when needed although I prefer for them to move themselves of course! It’s not a problem if you have a stubborn pet though!
