“Jana was an incredible pet sitter for our 2 cats and 2 Pomeranians! We had a last minute death in the family and Jana was able to come with very little notice and stay in our home while we were away. We even had to extend our trip and she was able to move some things around to stay and take care of our babies for an extra 3 days. She was extremely communicative sending us photos and updates daily. We left the house in such a rush things were a little messy but she was kind enough to wipe down the counters and do the dishes which we really appreciated- she even washed her own linens from the guest room she was staying in and made the bed for us. I know that all of our animals were happy and taken care of and we will definitely be using her again.”

About: I’ve been taken care of pets since I was 13. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to feed, walk, play, and love on their pets. I also love to volunteer at animal shelters in my free time. I am currently a full time student, so I will have plenty of time before, in between and after classes to feed, walk, play, and love in your animals. I am also available in the evenings and weekends as well. I have a big secluded yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I also live in a safe neighborhood to walk pets in.

About: I've had a lifelong love of animals — caring for them was a responsibility I embraced from childhood and carried into adulthood. Over the years, I've dedicated time to researching training methods and best practices for working with dogs of varying breeds and temperaments. My hands-on experience includes Great Danes, German Shepherds, Cairn Terriers, Pit Bulls, Yorkies, Goldendoodles, and Labrador Retrievers, giving me a well-rounded foundation for understanding different sizes, energy levels, and personalities. I am currently a full-time student, so I have the flexibility to make sure your pets are walked and checked on through the day. I can also be available for overnights in your home or will consider boarding here on a case-by-case basis. I firmly believe that regular exercise is one of the greatest gifts you can give a dog — both for their physical health and their overall disposition. Ensuring every pup gets the activity they need for a calm, content evening is always my top priority. You can trust that your pet will be in a safe, attentive, and caring environment.

About: I spent 9 years in Alaska raising, training, racing, and caring for sled dogs, including successfully completing the 2018 Iditarod. During that time, I was responsible for the daily care, health, exercise, feeding, and wellbeing of large teams of dogs in all types of conditions. My experience includes caring for multiple dogs at once, managing high-energy and working breeds, administering medications, monitoring health and behavior, and recognizing the nuances of how dogs communicate. I'm familiar with potty schedules, crate routines, basic obedience reinforcement, and helping young dogs develop good habits through consistency and positive interactions. About: I worked at the San Diego Zoo for almost 20 years. My work there included animal care and nutrition. I love all types of dog and cat! Having just returned to Ohio from San Diego my schedule is quite flexible. I take care of my own pets, go to the gym and volunteer remotely for Wildlife Madagascar. In pet care i prioritize ilove and positive reinforcement. As the wife of a locksmith I'm also very meticulous about safety and security (i.e., I always double check to make sure that leash/harness clips and locks are secure).

Since the puppy is being potty trained, she also maintained a rigorous schedule for walking and feeding him and provided great companionship for him and the cat.
